- James urges us not to blame God for our temptations, reminding us that God is the source of all good gifts. He contrasts the idea of God as a taker with the reality of God as a giver, emphasizing the importance of gratitude and perspective in our relationship with Him. Is it not glorious that God sent His only Son to save us sinners!
(00:00) How does the logic of James 1 fit together?
(03:49) Stop blaming God and start thanking God
(05:41) Do you realize all that God has given you?
(09:34) No shadow of turning with the LORD?
(12:38) Verse 18: He brought us forth?
(18:16) If I am saved, who gets the credit?
(48:32) This is Christianity!
(51:17) Closing prayer

Amen!!!! Glory be to God!!! Yes he’s so amazing to think of the glory of God & everything he has created
This message needs follow-up. By me, by others.
Humble gratitude. A heart led by that will not contradict this message of truth. That. That is a primary element missing in church leadership, thus in the flock.
Too often in it's place, a throne really, is a Nebuchadnezzar mindset. I built this. I am upon high. My own foot dried up the river.
The reformed prosperity gospel.
When wrong, apologize sincerely.
Live as redeemed, recipients of unmerited grace. Drop the ego. More saving grace, less saving face. Give as you were given. Love as you are loved.
Listen. Seek to understand.
AMEN 🙏
