- Cebu, Philippines 🇵🇭 - Today I bring you along canyoneering at the Kawasan falls, near Moalboal in Cebu. About 4-5 hours tracking, sliding and cliff jumping along the river towards the Kawasan Falls. It was an amazing day trip and would definitely do it again.

I did canyoneering in Cebu last year and had a blast, but I didn't get to try the zipline. Watching your video reminded me why I need to go back-definitely for the zipline and the lechon! 😋🇵🇭 Can’t wait to share my own adventures on my channel too. Keep safe on your travels, mate!

this used to be longer and the very end is a much much higher jump. I think the typhoon cut that route, im not so sure, but definitely was a heart pounding jump
Yes, the guide told me that the typhoon destroyed parts, like the jump in the end as well. I've only seen videos of it

i wouldn't recommend this to everyone but hey if you are physically able and capable of keeping up with the terrain then yeah I highly recommend, you'd be surprised that there were people who were hospitalized or straight up got to an early grave because of this endeavor, like canyoneering is no easy task they make it look easy but it aint not to mention you still gotta pay for it, quite a lot if you were a local probably less if you are a foreigner who has a currency higher than the pesos.
You are right, it's a physical activity with some challenges. But nothing to out of ordinary 😊

Yes, I'm using a dji action cam. But you can also bring your phone. It's just your responsibility to not lose it 👍 many people had their phone with them

No jump is mandatory on this trip. Some are small, some are big. If you don't want to jump, you can just skip it. Maybe just give it a try 💪

They made you sit down to calm your nerves. The adrenaline rush is insane that you might slip walking down the stairs.
No way 😄 it's a chill fun thing, but not that big. After massive roller-coasters you walk stairs right away as well
When our guide told me the last one was a 10-mtr jump, I thought it pretty manageable. But when I got to the edge, I felt my extra poundage wouldn't make this jump a breeze. I backed out. Two yrs later and 25-kilos lighter, I did it. There's a 17-mtr jump on the other side which is on another level of the waterfall, but thought that might be tempting fate a bit too much. Yeah, I'm a wuss. Lol
Good on you 💪 yeah, better be safe than sorry. Sometimes it takes guts to jump from very high, but you shouldn't be forced. My highest jump ever was 18 meters, took me a while to jump 😅

Well I'm tall, so my bodyweight when in good and fit shape is 100kg 😅

I'm into all kind of sports in my younger days that spanned tnrough 2 marriages and 4 kids and I never go more than a couple of kilograms over that weight. In short I got lazy. When you get older, you'd be surprised to learn gravity is real. Lol. New subbie to your channel, btw. Got to binge a few of your past episodes. Love your content, brother. Best thing to do here in Cebu.
Tip: go there very early in the morning, its peaceful and not crowded. We took the 5am bus and arrived at 7am. We are the first group on the register form. Best experience ever.

You are right, but the only spot where we did that was not high and we lined up to be pushed by the guide or a friend 😊 so nobody was pushed unwillingly 😉
I'm going there next month. Where did you leave your bag or personal belongings when you did the canyoneering? I noticed people brought backpacks with them when you got on the jeep that took you there. Do you have to leave your cellphones and valuables in your hotel room?
You'll have lockers for your things at the canyoneering spot, where you get your gear. I had a little watertight bag for money and batteries that I brought with me during the activity.
