6:20 ok but consider: there isn't actually a 4th star on the panel where Vincent and Musso die, and they're actually appearing in his hand from right to left. When the next guard died, the 4th started appeared in order. That implies some guard from Benjamin had already died before the succession war, and he already had their ability stored

You could even go to Extremes and conjure yourself into something like a Blade that cant levitate but needs to be used by Someone as a mere Blade, which would sacrifice everything about you temporarily (or even forever), even youre Autonomy, just to gain give youre Comrade Power. It’s basically Transifguration-Magic, the thing that Prof McGonagall teaches. Funny/Epic enough: this is the type that doesnt just allows you to summon Creatures like Werewolves but BECOME ONE. Wow. And of course all this can be used as Self-Cursing, which Conjuration is anyway best-suited for.

Well, do you count buffs? Cause Terpsichora is technically a specialist ability and it literally makes Pitou better at fighting. But if you mean that no ability has been directly offensive, that’s probably because Specialists are closely connected to manipulators and Conjurers. They often either has abilities which are impossible with Nen normally (most offensive powers are possible under normal Nen) or which break normal Nen rules (which usually means something highly technical). So a specialist could probably have an ability that like, steals time from someone to rapidly age them, they are usually just more likely to have a very technical ability that allows for weird things

I strongly agree with your point and do think specialist abilities are limited in the “direct harm” they create but its very interesting to go further in that interpretation. For example: Contagion (Morena’s ability). It technically forces you into needing to murder or be murdered yourself since Morena knows where everyone is. In addition, it’s stated by Shizuku that Chrollo might have a “death note” which makes sense because they no longer have their ability and are more susceptible to attacks. It would be interesting, however, if the hidden condition of Chrollo’s ability is making his victim suffer a faster, more brutal death. Your comment really made me think and I don’t know if the two examples I listed even really qualify, but one thing I love about HxH is the meaning of things and definitions/boundaries are very important.
Well in my eyes stricte atack its not domain of specialisation. Specialisation so far was innate ability but with Morena explatiation this was change a little closer to have ability to choose what effect you disire (i bellive not to 100% of your choice). And Terpischora is pure manipulation and conjuration ability and emmsion of course. Dr Blythe is more to specialization in my eyes but still it can be explaned with Conjuration, manipulation and enchatmend. The best expample of special in my eyes is Pakunada and Teserandich. Their ability cant be explaned with normal 5 categories. Kurapika lie detection and Neon prophecy too. But stealing ability or renting it its not so special effects that cant be do with conjuration.

i always thought he can store 8 hatsus 4 in each hand probably preselected.on paper he is the favorite but to me he is top 3 . he haseverything going for him. nen knowledge and experience. strength possibally emitter. connection . military. big personel. versitility in abilities and personel and high rankamong princes give him access to cruicial intel.. fearless and driven and smart enough to consolte with his advisers. my only argument against him is that thematically he doesnt fit the message of the arc . the ones who fit are halkenburg zhang lei and tserriednich
What i like about first prince is how togashi is showing off all these powers individually and how scary combined it will be. Like if a captain in bleach gained many shikai abilities and can use them with ease

Hmm, seeing Benjamin without Might restraining and advising him would genuinely test his independence and critical thinking skills.
