Did I miss a section of the review offering a comparison of Quest 2 in the mix? How it run, look and feel? Has it issues Q3 and PSVR2 dont have? I'd imagine there are a large volume of Q2 owners who enjoy the quality of your reviews but also just need a snippet of footage and feedback on how Q2 is coping.
Right now, and until the game is enhanced to take advantage of Q3’s extra power, the Q2 version is essentially identical (except for the slight bump in resolution Q3 offers all titles). But we should have mentioned this, you’re absolutely right.
I agree that it would have been better served at $34.99 or even $39.99, but I think it’s easily one of the best games on Quest and get above the average run of the mill game :)
Really enjoyed your review. It matched how I feel about the game pretty much exactly. The game is suffering with the community because of its price. If this was 39.99 they would have brought in a lot more players. Hopefully a sale will achieve this in the near future along with DLC episodes like the first game had.

I think vr gamers have been spoiled with that 40 dollar price tag when most gamers are more than willing to drop 60 to 70 on non VR AAA games. I feel vr is next level shit and even more immersive, which is why i dont mind paying 60 for vr games. As long as its deserving of the 60

I took in the sights, got stuck at how difficult it became at a couple of points, and generally wandered around because I was enjoying it so much. That’s not counting any time spent in horde mode or replaying it in co-op with a friend :) And yeah, the price is somewhat steep, and I should have taken that into consideration in the review, but honesty, I enjoyed it so much that faded out of my mind entirely.
Good grief, the marketing department really dropped the ball on this one. The few trailers we got were cut together and presented awkwardly enough that I more or less wrote off the game. Glad to hear the game itself is knocking it out of the park!
50 for a 4 - 5 hour campaign game, that looks like they remade their 7 year old game with better graphics? - no way jose ;) ill buy in 1 - 2 years on a humble sale or key sellers for a 10er^^

I don't even remember if the original had co-op for the campaign? Only played it SP and in Horde mode with Doc a few times. If you have any specific questions that might answer that, let me know and I'll do my best to answer :)
@@6DOFReviews It very much had coop yes. Played it twice in that mode with 2 different friends, and we all played the horde mode a couple of times. I've always loved VR for the few decent coop experiences that where available, and the 1st Arazona was quite passable given given how much we paid for it back then (pcvr)
I have it for PSVR2 and enjoying it so far. Will be double dipping and playing on Quest 2 coop with my sons. I sure hope it holds up or I might have to buy a Quest 3 sooner than I was expecting.

It’s not a necessity, narratively, but - if you don’t mind the dated graphics - is a good game in its own right, and if you do choose to play it, then I’d say play it first so that you see it in the best light rather than compared to the superior sequel :)
No such issues in game, and only seems choppy with the Quest footage. I think the Quest's capture is just prioritizing the game rather than the video capture. Sorry for that.
Allot of people say they dont notice reprojection on psvr2, and it doesn't bother them. For me, I not only notice it, but it ruins games for me, hoping psvr2 will work on pc soon, since I love the oled and hdr
It may be less noticeable if you exclusively use PSVR2, but when I play a Quest game and then switch to the PSVR2 version of the same game, it immediately puts me off.
I played on Hard, and I did get stuck on a couple of really hard bits that took a while to get past. I also think a lot of reviewers seem to have rushed their way through the game, I was loving it, and relishing some of the moments. It really does depend how you approach it :)

Depends what difficulty you chose to play on and how you go about playing it. I played it on hard and was enjoying it enough to wander around and check things out. You also have to consider the presence of Horde Mode and figure out approximately how many hours some people will play that for, which potentially ups the playtime even more.

Now that game, I've only made it to the 2nd floor and can barely play it cause it's actually scary compared to Arizona Sunshine, lol.

Yep totally with you on this. I think the quest 2 audience probably still outweighs the quest 3 by quite some way.

It’s a solid title, but for $50 it’s bad. It plays just like your average $30 vr game

I thought it would look better on the quest 3. Look a bit better than the first one hope there’s a patch
Trust me, it looks a LOT better than the first one, and in some places, it’s really quite gorgeous.
