ALPR is certainly realistic, but I found the default settings to be way too high. I changed the base hit rate from 20% to 5%. I also re-weighted the offenses. Far less warrants and stolen vehicles, more documentation infractions. More expired paperwork than none/revoked. This makes the immediately arrestable offenses/things an officer couldn't let slide much rarer. This means my traffic stops feel a bit more organic rather than already knowing the outcome ahead of time.

I remember another LSPDFR video on YT, the creator talked about how people think ALPR is an invasion of privacy & trapping when the officer's vehicle is hidden. 🤔 Just something else people debate on about police.
