Se7en is one of the greatest movies ever made, which seems impossible considering the subject matter. Perfectly acted, you love all the mains and the ending is def one of the hardest to handle ever. Fincher makes great movies, but daaaamn, this one is perfect.
I watched the freedom scene from braveheart as a 5yo, I remember my dad holding tears and I got goosebumps from it, never forgot it. We're both movies lovers. I'll never forget this
Wait, Denzel instead of Brad or Morgan? Im glad he said know. I love Denzel, but I think Morgan is the perfect actor for the role of the Senior Detective.
Sometimes, saying no to a role gives us viewers the scene of a lifetime. I have no doubt Denzel would've done a great job as Mills or Somerset. But after watching this film as many times as I have, I can't imagine Denzel doing a better job than Pitt or Freeman in their parts. But I have to admit having a black senior cop trying to talk a black younger cop into not shooting a white guy for killing his pregnant wife does bring a whole new level of madness to John Doe.
Hope any number of the iconic scenes in Good Will Hunting made the cut but my favourites have to be the "Your move kid" on the park bench and the "It's not your fault" scenes. To this day they kill me! The writing and the acting.....just incredible!
The "it's not your fault" scene always brings me to tears but for some reason it never gets talked about in anyone's UA-cam videos. Maybe because it's cliché and makes everyone cry and no one wants to talk about it. But I feel it's the most powerful scene in the movie.
@@mattk3654 💯‼️ And it might've been corny had it not been performed by Matt & Robin who together produced some of the most natural acting I'd ever seen at that time. Robin in particular...sigh...what a tragic loss of raw talent! 😌
@@chanel27 definitely a tragic loss. And it was definitely a very well acted scene. It just kills me that for this movie, everyone wants to talk about the park bench scene or the ending with Robin saying "sob stole my line," which I admit was great. Even if he said that after 103 takes, lol(I'm exaggerating but still it was a lot of takes with Robin just riffing random shit) But I stand firm with saying the most powerful scene in the movie was, "its not your fault"
@5:15 I know the capibilities of a 12 gauge...even sawed off using 00 buck shot at the range he was shooting from...even the chest shot would not be a lethal shot. But it a movie
That sure is the most iconic Forrest Gump scene but I‘d argue many scenes are much better. The New Year’s Eve scene, the one where he finds out about his son and the one where he talks to Jenny at her grave are super beautiful and emotional. And there are so many more great scenes that imo are better than the one you chose.
Mel Gibson in The Patriot when he caught up to the men who had murdered his son was chilling. The way he chopped at the man until he was soaked in blood was crazy.
That scene from the opening of "the Godfather" is all about respect. Don Corleone just wanted that funeral man to be his friend, treat him as a friend and if they were simply friends, then he'd not even have to ask for this. The Don would've seen what happened and felt like it was good duty as a friend to tasks care of the situation. Actually, if this man were just friends with the Don, even if he never partook in the life(especially if he never partook in the life) then he'd have killed them in the most awful way.
That scene in Braveheart still gets me, especially when he sees the spirit of Murron walking through the crowd, yeah the film is historically inaccurate but still Epic
There are of course no top scenes, movies, books etc. One way to say it is "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"... however it gives us an opportunity to see some great stuff...just sayin'
My favorite movie scenes are (in no specific order): -Pool in Its a Wonderful Life -Sword fight in The Princess Bride -Iocaine Powder “battle of wits” in The Princess Bride -The Exodus in The Ten Commandments -Dream monologue in No Country For Old Men -Water skiing in The Great Outdoors -Drunk clown in Uncle Buck -Chunk’s confession in The Goonies -Bout against Ivan Drago in Rocky IV -The final race in Chariots of Fire -Championship game in Hoosiers -Last scene of White Christmas -USS Indianapolis speech in Jaws -Alice Cooper’s “Milwaukee” speech in Wayne’s Word -Jake’s “excuses” scene in Blues Brothers -the bribe in Naked Gun -“Something Tells Me I’m Into Something Good” in Naked Gun
How about these? -Major Strasser has been shot--round up the usual suspects -The merciful God has left a shovelful of sand to keep us up -You're coming with me. Let's go -Get busy living, or get busy dying -Blake, I hear the train coming -It starts when you begin to overlook bad manners. Anytime you quit hearin' 'sir' and 'ma'am' the end is pretty much in sight
To me, another iconic scene is in Revenge Of The Sith, after the Obi Wan and Anakin Skywalker battle and we hear Darth Vaders breath for the first time.
Terminator had so many. From the vilain melting into a liquid and sliding away to getting into the chopper through the glass and telling the pilot to get out in mid air LOL.
I personally think the best scene ever is when Gomez Adams explain to the policeman how he has seen absolutely everything vile and unimaginable, but he has never seen him
I never seen a man beg for death like John Doe in "se7en"....especially since at the moment, it was no for no apparent reason other than to fulfill his plan of 7 people dying from their 7 deadly sins. You gotta admire his commitment to his cause but that was just stupid. That one scene set that movie above all others for expectations of blowing your mind so far away from anything you thought you were expecting.
Why was the 1st scene from 7even cut short? The most comprehensive line in that scene is someone in a helicopter saying 'somebody call somebody'!!! Sums up the hopelessness of the whole movie!
I can't argue with any of these choices. The last one, Iv'e never seen the whole movie, is a bit suspect. A good , but unfamiliar scene. The rest are spot on.
This collection is a tough call. So many Great Actors. I would pick Pacino and Gibson from these scenes. For an Italian man, Pacino was a very believable Cuban drug Lord.
i only see ""seven "" one time - and never again..... the storyboard was too real and nothing i would see twice... Especially the scene at the end where he told what he have done and the scenes they show it....
I think Braveheart is terrific but there is no way the people in the crowd would cry out for mercy for Wallace. It would be like American's pleading for mercy for Bin Ladin. Executions in mid-evil times were parties and anyone that would show pity to a traitor would be risking their own life. The movie knows we are on Wallace's side so the movie decides that since Wallace is such s good guy that he even wins over the people watching the execution but I guarantee when he was actually killed they cheered every second he was in agony.
I liked Boys in the Hood but it is full of plot holes. Rick football scholarship offers yet at the end he says he might join the Army because they will give him money for college. What? Why in the world would Tre and Rick split up at the end? What? After Rick gets shot they take his blood soaked body back home and lay him on the couch in front of his mom, girlfriend and child? What?
That's the great thing about stuff like this. It's just one person's opinion. Inglourious Basterds? Seriously? Over the Godfather? First place? You must never have watched Casablanca, or Gone with the Wind, so many... you list Braveheart, but by far the best scene in Braveheart is the speech. OK I'll shut up now
These were all great, but it would be tough to top the "Give my daughter her medicine." scene in Terms of Endearment as the most unforgettable and moving 1 minute and 6 seconds in movie history. ua-cam.com/video/plqzeUB9B-w/v-deo.html
The young actor in The Sixth Sense did an amazing job in that film!!! Great scene. His desperate fear, confusion, loneliness was palatable.
Did you know the grown boy in white underwear that shoots Bruce Willis is none other than Donnie Wahlberg 🤓

You guys haven't seen many movies, have you? 12 Angry Men. Casablanca. Rio Bravo. Shane. Hondo. How long a list do you want?
@@bdjeushekel9998 XD
Kevin Spacey’s performance in Se7en was truly outstanding. One of the best performances (and movies) of all time.
So was Brad Pitt's performance!
The scene from Braveheart gets the tears flowing no matter how many times I have watched the movie.
Freedoooom!! I love It!!❤️❤️❤️
I watched the freedom scene from braveheart as a 5yo, I remember my dad holding tears and I got goosebumps from it, never forgot it. We're both movies lovers. I'll never forget this
Great moment!
That ending of Braveheart was truly hard to watch, so well done. Mel is an amazing actor as well as a director.
Terrible film, re-writing history based on Gibson's own misguided prejudice.
Pitt, Freeman and Spacey in Se7en….3 powerhouse actors in one epic scene. WOW
That Italian scene in the bastards is just so funny and great
The ending to Seven is tied with Game of Thrones’ Red Wedding as the most haunting scene I’ve ever watched.
Christoph Waltz is one of the best actors I have ever seen.
Oscar hates Brad Pitt s pretty boy face... But c'mon he's an incredible actor
Wdym? He did get an Oscar
ok man child it might be time to get off the internet for once
Totally agree
I came to the conclusion that the Oscar is not worth that much.
He should have won for Legends of The Fall and 13 Monkeys. The man is top notch.
The ending music killed my ears.
Sorry to read that, thank for alerting us.
Us, hold up

Fun fact: Denzel Washington turned down Brad Pitts’ role because he thought the movie was too dark. He regretted it once he saw it.
Didn't know that actually. Thanks!!
Wait, Denzel instead of Brad or Morgan? Im glad he said know. I love Denzel, but I think Morgan is the perfect actor for the role of the Senior Detective.
Denzel would never have pulled it off. Pitt's performance was gold.
That was one of the darkest movies ever.

6 sense . I heard that Bruce is in bad shape. He is one of my favorite actors. Much love.
Braveheart was one of the best edited movies IMO. It flowed seamlessly.

Yeah. Great movie. People being bad to each other, that's what we need.
💯
The chance from Forrest Gump running as a kid to Tony Montana’s last shootout was hilarious 😂
Damn, that Braveheart scene
I think in inglorious basterds the opening scène was the best

One of the most subtle and overlooked scenes that I've always liked.....sometimes there's just not enough rocks!
The cat in Don Corleone’s lap purring is perfect.
Inglorious is dope but the opening scene goes so hard.
One of the best films❤
"You f__ with me, you f__ with the best!!" "Say hello to my little friend!!" Two of the most memorable lines in cinema history!
We don't get movies like Se7en anymore...

Mel Gibson in The Patriot when he caught up to the men who had murdered his son was chilling. The way he chopped at the man until he was soaked in blood was crazy.
