- I just love the obvious enjoyment David's getting from this tour, his energy is amazing. Go to 3:45 to experience what it was like to be just a few feet away from Davi Vieira and his cymbals :) June 20th 2018 will live long in the memory.
Interesting version of this great song, and David always succeeds in coming up with new and innovative musical solutions. Still, as far as this song goes, I don't think any version is as powerful and riveting as the "Stop Making Sense" movie version.
i think this version is better, just my opinion... phones doesnt make this performance justice, even a great video like this one.
Yeah movie version a lot better. Bad intro vocals. A bit messy. But l love Talking Heads.
Excellent, has the vibe of a distant memory or a powerful dream. Another example of all the great music of the 80's, really miss that decade.

Saw this show in Los Angeles, and it was the best concert experience I've ever had. whoever shot this video did an excellent job.

I am a massive talking heads fan, but I think david Byrne is narcissistic egotistical and a control freak who gets far too much reverence

From what I understand Tina Weymouth was (and still is) bitter at Byrne because he just dismissed her, Chris Frantz,
and Jerry Harrison from the band without so much as a nod, and this after all their musical contributions. She said that Byrne is a self-centered egotist who doesn't consider other people nearly enough.
