When you meet your neighbors, you'll wish each other Merry Christmas! In French it sounds like "JOY UH NO ELL", but it is spelled just like on the Christmas ornaments!
The shops are stunning. So many beautiful things. One request: When scanning the displays, if you would slow down a bit, that would avoid viewers like me getting dizzy 😵. I love your tip about coloring sugar. So pretty. Thanks and Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄.
Yes, the second-hand shopping is incredible, and the inventory is ever-changing. We try to visit our favorite stores once a week, so we don't miss out on anything good. We're slowly (but surely) replacing the things we couldn't bring with us and furnishing the house.
Hope you had a beautiful Christmas with your family. Your velvety finds for your bedroom just wow :) Right place at the right time for sure. Im also excited to try making some of my own sugar colors. See you after the holidays😊
Thank you for fantastic videos all year!! LOVE to see especially the decorations and recipes. Happy Happy new year to you and yours Aaron/Erin! Nancy & Rick O
Hi Erin, I'm frequently in France (mostly in Paris) and have never seen this sort of thrift store. Is there a special name for them? How do you find these wonderful shops? Are they only primarily in Normandy? Maybe just the "fleas?" Thanks and love your channel!
Hi Tamara. I think stores like this are pretty common across France, maybe less so in Paris. There are brocantes, which are basically like antique stores, depot ventes, which are more like consignment shops, and then various thrift stores/charity shops. Emmaus is one example that's all over France. I found a lot of the ones that we frequent by typing those different second-hand store terms into Google with either "near me" or the name of a particular city. It can be bit of an Easter egg hunt, but that should get you started :)

I always leave sausages and vodka for Santa. Enjoyed the video. Thank you!

We miss you in Maryville!
What wonders in those brocantes and thrift stores. I think a person could spend hours just finding some new and exciting article.
God bless.

Will be missing you both, hope you have the most wonderful Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year (2025!).
