wow guys, thank you so much for 10k views and 300 likes! :) i honestly never expected this video to reach this many people, but i'm glad that so many of you have found it to be helpful! thank you again for the support
This girl deserves more views. she’s straight to the point and doesn’t use a million products. Easy to follow. Doesn’t waste anyone’s time bullshitting around. Thank you girl.
aww, thank you so much!! I remember when I first started dying my hair blue I was very frustrated by the lack of (actually helpful) tutorials so I just decided to make one of my own while I was re-doing my hair
Wow! Beautiful blue! Fantastic result! I’ve been using colorful dyes on my natural gray and white hair for 5+ years, and Adore is one of my favorite brands. I like the thinner consistency, it makes it easier to work into the hair, especially if you have thick textured hair. They also have the largest selection of colors to choose from (almost 70 colors) though unfortunately because of my gray base I have to stick to the cooler colors like blues, greens and purples. Love Adore dyes for price and quality.
You can get Adore at most of the Asian owned beauty supply stores too. Going to try this. Your speaking voice is very soothing btw. Edit: I know it isn’t the goal but 8:24 is a lewk as well.
Adore is in a lot of beauty supplies, not chain ones but like "privately owned" ones.. usually where you can find lots of braiding hair, natural hair products and jewelry lol
I think im gonna try this dye! My hair is kinda like yours before. But I lifted my roots and put on a dye which got me to that, except it wasnt quite as i wanted it to be. And the roots slightly tinted but didnt take the colour well at all!
Awesome tutorial!! I was curious about Adore and you helped out😊 I'm going to throw a couple of tips out there for you that I myself do. Before I bleach my hair I slather it with coconut oil and it still bleaches like it's supposed to. And for toning I wash my hair with purple shampoo and leave it on for about 15 - 20 minutes. Just a couple of ideas 😊 Great video!! I love how you're down to earth and not trying to "work it" My next experiment is to try and get mine a country blue. 🤞
@@Toxic_panda. Splat is extremely difficult to get out of hair and is also pretty damaging (I’ve used it for other colors in the past) so I wouldn’t recommend it :(
@@altavrie well I don’t have a credit card for that and I think in my country will not be able to get that either but hmmm can I just send u the money and then u send me this product pls if u don’t mind .
It's always best to go with what the bottle says in my opinion since everyone's hair is different. For my hair, I typically apply it dry hair because that's what has always worked for me. If you have applied dye to dry hair in the past and it turns out fine, then I would say either way would probably work :) Hope this helps
I'm not a professional and I've never had a balayage so I'm really not sure. However, I would assume that as the blue fades, your balayage will be a lot more noticeable because hair that has already been bleached/dyed typically fades at different rates than hair that hasn't been touched before. Sorry I can't be of more help D:
@@nicolove2877 you don’t have to, but I recommend it because if you have any sort of yellow or orange tones in your bleached hair, you’ll risk the dye turning out more green or fading to green
My hair at its current length/style is the result of growing out a pixie cut I had a few years back, but some might say I have a long wolfcut or curtain bangs
Haha yeah, this was at my parents' house. I think it was a temporary thing because the last time I was there, they had a normal shower curtain again. It is kind of silly, isn't it? 😂
omg the difference I noticed like before you recoloured your hair your vibe was soft and pure like a hippie or fairy and after, (makeup did something too, for sure) you had this bad bitch kinda emo energy, low-key scared of u 🙈no offence, it's just what I noticed, you're cool however you look. When I had this dark blue hair I looked weird without makeup and I don't do makeup often :// I was lazy to do my makeup so I just looked weird xdd sooo at the beginning of the video you kinda remind me of me :3

This video really helped since I'm trying to dye my hair blue for the first time, I'll definitely follow this process thank you 💙
Bleaching your own hair is a talent!
I know this brand recommends to process with heat, but your method without it turned out so well! Love that this brand is so easy to work with

5:14 you can put a push pin in the wall behind you and hang the mirror
Also use petroleum jelly around the hair line to decrease blue dye dying the skin it work great
Clean tip: spray cleaning spray prior to shampooing. The color won’t stick as much.

The blue looks gorgeous =) I will use Adore Magenta to today =)

What purple shampoo do you use?
The result is perfect! I'd like to get blue one day but I don't think I'll do it by my own or my hair would come out rainbow! 😂
I used your tutorial to do my hair!!! 💙
Exactly what I needed! Thank you
So useful - thanks a lot!
Thanks for the advice.....great job
I’ve used splat indigo jewel blue works the best in my opinion

Omg I am dying ughhh I loved everything I wanted to dye my hair blue just like yours but unfortunately in my country we don’t have these products 😢
You can buy them on Amazon :)

Do you use purple shampoo as well?
I just got my hair bleached to blonde. Can I skip the bleach and just go straight to the dye?
Thank you, really helpful!!
Im glad you found it helpful :) ♡
the adore bottle says to apply the dye to towel dry hair, do you recommend dying it on dry hair or towel dry hair?

How much of T18 toner and how much of Developement should I mix?
Btw. It is a very very helpful video. Thank you so much!!👍❤️
Hello, I believe it is a 1:2 ratio so if you had 2 oz of toner, you would use 4 oz of developer. It should also tell you on the box :)
Love the color. I wash my hair in the sink. Lol
What's the transfer like after being rinsed out?
showed up in my reccommended, hello avrie
hello alex >:)
how did you use the deep conditioner on your hair? did you leave it in for awhile or just washed it? or?
I used it like regular conditioner :)
“I look like that dude from Mario” 😂😂😂😂😂
If I have a balayage, will this ruin it? Or will the blue eventually fade and my balayage will still be there? TIA

Do I have to use a toner between the lightning and the color?
@@nicolove2877 you don’t have to, but I recommend it because if you have any sort of yellow or orange tones in your bleached hair, you’ll risk the dye turning out more green or fading to green
That's exactly what happened when I dyed them last time. So I'll definitely need a toner. Thank you!!!❤
After bleaching my hair I dye by adore African violet but nothing happened 🙄😣 I don’t understand what I did wrong.
After you bleached did you have a yellow tone to your hair? If so the purple would've just acted like a toner.
Yo, good subtitles
My hair came out purple
😭
Metallic bowl?
No haha, the bowl I'm using in this video is plastic
For anyone reading this comment you should NOT use a metallic bowl with hair dye and bleach
Your haircut name?

Window drapes on your shower 🤔
