Thanks Bob for the tutorial on this C14’s air filter R&R. For me, just another nail in the coffin of NEVER AGAIN getting a MC with fairings on it! Sure, not a horrible job, but still in my view, what a PITA just to replace a air filter… . Good job Bob, thanks for the demo. 👍. As I’ve watched you tackle other way more difficult jobs, I’m sure this was a walk in the park for you.
2 companies come to mind revzilla and partzilla .com they mail order. I'm not affiliated with them but I do buy a lot of parts from them and have them delivered
Lesson to everyone, the used concours you are looking at most definitely needs a new air filter. 🤣🤣
Now imagine the valve check…if previous owner doesnt have a maintenance log and receipts, Id run.
nice tutorial, really liked it. very thorough and not super lengthy
Great video. I've got 13,500 miles on my air filter so I know it's time.
Thanks.

You should try chaging the spark plugs, It takes an hour just to get to the plugs.. $500 at the dealer.
@Mike Lane seriously?
Замените фильтр на Сузуки интрудер 1400, там нет никаких обтекателей, но замена сложнее чем на gtr1400
minimum 6 months in jail for the engineers who designed this air filter debacle. Fail. Great video.
Выпустить досрочно за великолепную динамику 😂
Wait until you want to change spark plugs.
Great video, I’ve just got a 2008 gtr and now going to replace the air filter myself 👍thanks for a great and informative video
Excellent video, step by step.
Nice video. Excellent tutorial. Thank for all your help
Great job Bob. While you had half the bike apart, you may as well have adjusted the valves. 😂😂🤣🤣. This makes me want to go back to an FJR
Lol got to tell ya getting to the head to do a valve check on this ride is no fun. 8k more and i’ll be in there though.
Love the video, I REALLY hated removing all of the plastics on my Connie.
Not like the older bikes for sure, but much easier than a goldwing😉
excellent ..thanks
Thank You!
Awesome video thank you!!!!
Not as much of a pain as a GoldWing but still a pain nevertheless. Good job! Good video!
Thanks for the comment. I agree, the Goldwing filter replacement is an epic journey unto itself. That’s on my plate too this spring. ride safe
It's not needed to take the side plastics off, just the black narrow top one + glove box + release of the relays.
Good video.
Thanks.
Thanks for sharing 👍🏾
I'll be better equipped to get it done right the first time 😎
That's insane ridiculous!
Hello, how can I order motorcycle parts? And I'm out of America

number 4 torx? or 4 mm allen?
Allen. Most if not all fasteners other than standard metric hex will be Allen
@@SCWMoto ok great man thank you for the prompt response and great video
