Seeing M1 Max MacBooks for $1500 with 64GB RAM and 1TB SSD. It’s a no brainer at this point considering most of us don’t even need as much power as the m4 max. And to even get a m4 with close to those specs you’re paying twice the price…
Some times I feel like we shouldn't over focus on rendering speed. The M1 Max has already got the power to edit 8k videos at native quality (no proxy). But the majority of YT real live videos are still like 4K at max. Unless you can't wait a couple more minutes, the majority of YT video editor don't need a Max chip
That’s not the point! The point is that for the price of the base model M4 MacBook Pro or even the upcoming M4 MacBook Air, you can get a better computer in general! Better display, more ports, more battery, etc
Please suggest me - i am a automation tester right now ,after some years i will switch my domain to full stack developer or devops engineer or I use this macbook for AI and ML or for other IT domains which iam not sure of So my question is m4 base model is enough for me or i need to go for m4 pro or m3 pro In india m3 pro cost 180000 rupees is it a better deal By the way i rarely edit 4k vedios Should i go for m4 base model or should i wait for m4 air or m4 pro or m3 pro Please reply me as soon as possible

I have found a really good deal for the 15-inch M3 MacBook Air with 16GB RAM and 512 GB SSD storage off of the Apple Refurbished store for $1279 (not sure how much that is in Euros). Would you say that is a worse deal, better deal, or around the same type of deal as going for an M1 Pro or M1 Max MacBook Pro 14/16 Inch like you talked about? Thanks in advance!
Coming from INTEL, can you tell me if M1 Max can handle 4K 120 FPS 1hour long video editing with color grading and without bogging down? I'm not talking about 15-20 min videos, can it handle 1hr long? While having difference tabs open and having game running in background? Im wondering if M1 Max can handle it or if I should jump to m4max....but hate how much it cost.
Wait… you video edit 4k 120FPS 1 hours long videos while you game and browse at the same time??😅 That workflow seems impossible to accomplish, but even so, if your question is if it can handle it separately, yes. But if your main goal is to apply lots of effects and to color grade on Da Vinci Resolve, then the M4 Max will be faster. The M1 Max can do it, but it will be a bit slower

I come from windows and it is possible, Let me explain to you since you dont understand and question truthfulness of your visitors; I come from windows where ALT+TAB switches your tabs within milliseconds, you run your game like war thunder, while its flying for 5 min to reach destination, you swap to adobe premiere/fcpx and do your film editing, and you swap back, while music is running in back ground from third party app, and 20 tabs are open, while multiple folders open with go pro as well, that is just tip of iceberg, bro where have you been?

hell no. the estimated lifespan of the irreplacable ssd's makes the m1 a no go for me.

Honestly you don't even need the M1 Max. just get a M1 pro or Air. ALL are amazing and can do video editing
