I understand your confusion, but this is not a software emulation box like those cheap Chinese consoles, this is a high quality console that uses FPGA to play games, giving you perfect cycle accuracy on a transistor lever of hardware. This is exactly like playing original hardware with the benefit of modern tec like HDMI output. You get 0 lag input and perfect image.

Also by the way, FPGA is a really hard thing to do and costly too. So you talking about it as if it’s easy to do and with exaggerated claims, makes this whole thing sound more like yet another scam console
As someone who owns way too many consoles, some of which have one foot in the grave, this is fantastic. I'm sure many collectors like me are always stressed about the future playability of our games, and having clone consoles like this just brings a sigh of relief. I think eventually it'll work its way up to the 360 and PS3 in the next 5 or so years HOPEFULLY with disc support. Because without that support we'll be left with shelves full of paper weights. I'm not entirely sold on this particular console just because that disc support isn't built in, but it definitely gives me hope for what's to come.
Analogue is expensive, the 64 is not interesting, their duo took months to run ok (sounds problems ...), the pocket directions cross is very bad ... now it s so good to see taki udon kicking the market
My timing stinks. I'd only just gotten my mister turbo pack and this comes out of nowhere! Oh well, I still pre ordered the blue founders and dock option. The m.2 slot is a nice addition
I understand this console is much more versatile than the Analogue 3D, but especially if you’re buying the disc drive with the Superstation, the price isn’t all that much different. I’m buying an Analogue 3D for one purpose: to play my childhood N64 games on my modern tv. I’d guess this has more or less the same target audience but for PlayStation gamers

Yeah I now have the blue superstation, black analogue 3d and an anbernic RG34xx coming. Already bought a beautiful red everdrive 64. What a year for nostalgic retro gamers! If these super nerds keep this up, I will have to get a second job!
I got the gray one since I used to own the original gray PS1. Not sure I want the CD drive, since I don't think I will use physical disks even though I do have some physical PS1 games.

No, this can go up to PlayStation one, Sega Saturn and Nintendo 64, and that era of arcade games. This is fpga, not soft emulation, and it's still a very expensive tecnology.

This thing is insanely cheap considering it's a fully blown Mister. Look back less than a year ago and your were looking at spending north of $400 on a similar Mister set up. Not to mention getting the DE10 nano board was always a challenge. I never pulled the trigger until now. I happily invested in this unit from Taki.

This is not a normal emulation box, this is a mister fpga machine. fpga plays games exactly like the original consoles, no input lag or any braking or skipping, and that is much better than playing on a normal emulator.

I belive that is one problem of Taki marketing strategy, he doesn't know how to pace correctly the releases. But this machine is really beautiful.
