Just a note on the suggestion of boots. Felt bottom or felt tipped has become illegal in many areas for wading, fishing, or hiking. The water absorption can transport contaminants and seeds of invasive species (plants, bugs) to other areas.
How about having a net ... that's extremely ordinary to see a GUIDE without a net.. and lose the fish because the guide doesn't know how to work with his hands....
just always amazes me how guys fish without a net!!! just ridiculous and sure as hell the quickest way to lose fish just as the video shows...must be too much work to bring a net..
