Don't put a virgin relaxer on your roots first. You need to put it from the thickest area and from the ends so they can process. Your roots are going to process way faster. Also put the relaxer on your edges and nape (practically the perimeter) AFTER everywhere else is done. Those are little fragile hairs easy to break off. Also, your hair is in a fragile state overall because of the chemicals so try not to Comb your hair. Use your fingers to smooth.
