The Digitronic ECU PN. 5518130B will only fit engine of this prefix: CA81M. The earlier than 2018 version is different and has a specific set of electronic controllers.

I would like a Giannelli shot V4 but idk which one is compatible for this model. Also if this exhaust doesn't exist i was aiming for a leovince tt or an extra v2, what do you recommend me? Hey there, I have a piaggio zip 50 ac and I’ve installed a leovince tt pipe derestricted with the rollers that come in the kit and a 65 main jet, the problem is when i accélèrerez from bottom end to power band the scooter bogs down pretty bad, I don’t think it’s running lean because even with the choke on it still bogs down and I have no idea what could it be, additionally I’ve noticed some weird vapour or smoke in my gas tank when I take the cap off
You must tune until you tune it at the best function. Tuning the exhaust could take 5 minutes or 5 hours, don't stop until it is great at acceleration and improved top speed. 65 sounds rich.
@@scooterstreetau I think I’ve got it figured out, when I bought the scooter the carburettor and reeds ate the filter and I think that damaged my reeds in the process it had quite a long power band even before I put the pipe on so I think I should definitely check that before moving on, I’ll drop some updates I hope I can get some help with this I don’t have the money to splurge lol
@@scooterstreetau it’s been all cleared out since, hmm it is bizzare when it’s cold and is on choke it will take off perfectly than run rich and when it heats up it will have a slow takeoff than run good I’ve fiddled with the air/fuel screw but It doesn’t seem to change anything, maybe a bigger pilot jet ?
We will always use a new small end bearing when changing a piston. General rule is if upgrading one upgrade the other associated parts to eliminate a weak point.

Piaggio Typhoon 50 XR, one owner, bone stock with 5000 kms. I serviced it and i plan to drive it like that for aprox. 2 months just to get comfortable with scooter. My question is, if you were in my situation, what would your first 3 mods be? (Just saying, i don't want 70 cc kit since it's air cooled, i would like to get more performance from 50cc while keeping it reliable at the same time). Zdravo, dobrodošli. You have beautiful English👍. I would check everything on the engine and frame to make ensure all parts are working to a high standard, no leaks, no wear, rusted or damaged parts. Check list: Cables, filters, screws, bolts and moving engine systems. Once you are satisfied than look to buy a performance exhaust (suitable for 50cc) and include variator or rollers and clutch or clutch spring set. You will also need a main jet kit for the carby. Fit and tune all of these. I would consider this the first step for a clean sensible upgrade.

Belt and oil pump belt were changed (OEM Piaggio), rollers and sliders also, vacuum pump, air filter, fuel hose.I was told that everything else was completely fine.. Man who was servicing it removed restrictions from original exhaust, variator and carburetor and changed carb jet to 56 (if i remember corectly). Top speed is now aprox. 40 mph, before it barely went 31. Is there something to improve or is this maximum wihout performance exhaust and variator? I'm sorry to bother you, you've probably heard this question at least 1000 times🙂
@@DaveAngelic Realistically the improvements that you have now would be very satisfying. Adding extra parts would not really enhance the performance but only the looks. Derestricting the exhaust and fine tuning the transmission is where your gains are made. Thanks and take care👏
I have a 1992 zip. I have dr70, yasuni z, 17.5 carb, sport airfilter. Everything is orginal. What should i upgrade or add to my setup to make the scooter go faster (top speed)?
@@abdidabdi It really depends on your plan. You should choose all the parts you want and stick to the plan. Until all are changed you will not feel the full power potential. Until then just upgrade the exhaust, then cylinder carby together.
Hello, The system does not work in that way, unfortunately. If the current rollers are not optimal then yes changing the roller set to another weight will make a difference. This is the battle, working out which weight is optimal for your current set up. So trial and test different weight to see what changes are made.
Hello, I have a problem with the scooter, namely the scooter was going over 85 km/h before the car accident. Since I assembled the scooter after the car accident (the machine was not touched) the scooter does not want to go over 70, I opened the variator and saw that the belt goes up to 3/ 4 variators and on the side the clutch has about 0.5 cm to climb even higher I checked the case, it was eaten from the sides, it fell from 16.6 to 16.1, I don't know what to do next..
i have an aerox with mhr replica kit 70, mhr replica exhaust and the 19 dellorto. With what size main jet should i start tuning?

Hey man i have piaggio nrg mc3 2004 and its going about 60kmh and reving 7000rmp so should i buy a unrestricted cdi or change main jet
Try an exhaust and then change the jet, rollers and springs. If it is hitting the rpm limit yes go for the unlimited CDI.

Can i use a DR evo 70 with stock small bearing for aprilia sr 50?

Upgrade the cylinder, Exhaust and carby to start. You can do this 1 item at a time to keep the budget happy☺️

I checked the case, it was eaten from the sides, it fell from 16.6 to 16.1, I don't know what to do next..
Remove and replace the damaged/broken parts.
