Hey Ron . May I make suggestion at to making it easier to line the holes up on the staircase install. At the top where the bolt holes are. You could weld a hook plate to latch on to the lip of the bunker and that would help line the holes up and not having the staircase hanging and swinging once it’s set down in the channel that lines up the holes. Once it’s hooked at the top of the bunker. It can be set in place and all you have to do is shift it a little to line the holes up.
What is a hook plate? Never heard that!
My thoughts exactly.
Water cooler Quarterback
@@benotyourbossimagine hanging on to the top edge of a metal wall. A hook plate would look similar to the shape of your hands while hanging on.
I was thinking the same thing. Weird that the holes didn't line up though.
Great video. Need more of them. While it's always good to see Ron, it's nice to see Atlas bringing in more expertise.
The production increase is amazing I wish eternal tailwinds to carry your success along
if you guys had built the stairs to have a metal lip at the top of the bottom section of the stairs that would hook on to the breast of the vault it would allow you to drop it down like you did with the same angle and just hook on the top and as you lower it and release the pressure it would automatically go into place then you could bolt it in. You get perfect alignment every time and this is something you can set up at the warehouse before you even dispatch the parts.
and in that kinda disater the water levels would raise 300 feet... have fun drowning it your coffin.
Nosey neighbour, "I didn't think you drank that much!" 😂
whoever's doing your production now's legit. this's great.
thank you =)
Thank you for the tour you gave us on Sunday. The bunkers are so much bigger and impressive in person. As small as the 8x16 was it was still much bigger inside than we thought it would be. Thank you!
You’re welcome. 😀
Quero um na minha propriedade aqui no Brasil topa essa empreitada? @@AtlasSurvivalShelters
The way things are going, we all need one.
If you leave anywhere in the country that has tornadoes, please get a storm cellar. You don't really need a luxury bunker, but they have very safe and reliable affordable storm cellars.
I love that you provide text explanations 📺👀 to educate the people who are watching. 😎👍
Good sturdy construction that you can easily see and workers that are clearly proud of the work they do. Good times
Love the new form of the video ❤❤❤
Love those bunkers
Cheers from Brazil.
Love these installation videos
i hope u keep putting up these bunker videos, im never tired😂keep me motivated to make money and buy one😂
Hey. Don't tell Ron. The new narrator guy is better than him. Good video. Do like Ron's input. Ron could do home front briefings or orders for departing teams. Then end with a welcome home team from Ron. This was meant as humor.
Ron does not consider himself a UA-camr. Just a man with a UA-cam channel that saved his business by being forthright and honest to you guys
That guy is just one of the many hard working guys that works with Ron. He just happens to do very well in front of the camera too. Ron only works with the best he can get!
@@videoedit69 My comment was supposed to be meant as a compliment and humor.

If I ever win the lottery your bunker’s will be one of my 1st purchases!!!
Nah.. build your own, be creative. We’re talking about life and death. You’re probably going to live in it for months?
I'm assuming that the guy who did the video is your site foreman Ron.
He's done a great job with the video and making sure it's easy to follow what they're doing.
Have a ripper you guys!
This is Great Information Ron!
Great mother inlaw quarters.
Did you see the way that boy was loosening up that chain and binder?! Soft hands brother.. Soft hands…. 😂
Jk yall need a tv show though!
Can we have a video on the concrete Door installation by you guys? Like a detailed video tutorial. That would be the best video on your channel.
They have one
Bet navorhood just loves this 😂
Looks awesome! Great to see how yall do it!
That was interesting. I would love one of these just to have it.
Hell yeah brother
Hell yeah brother. How brother are you?
Hell brother, yeah!
Would’ve loved to see what it looks like inside
Where cranes don't go, helicopters do.
It’s best to do it in the middle of the day with all the neighbors around
Yolo hope everyone is doing great
I'd have one for me and the misses. One for the mother-in-law.
That’s nice of you to make one for the mother-in-law!!!
Those are wonderful, awesome job
I want the one with the barn on top of it ❤
OK, Where's the bathroom Either a whole or plumbing??😂
$200 000? Is that the cost for the bunker AND installation? Or is that the price of just the bunker before delivery and installation?
price of entire project, start to finish according to the tag line at the end of the video.
Guess I missed the tagline the second time too. The title says $200,000 but that doesn't answer my question.
@@1100wing Way out of my budget. I've got a shovel and some plywood though...
must be nice to have bucks like this!
I'd feel better if there was 2 feet of reinforced concrete over this, not just 4 feet of loose dirt.
Has anyone ran ventilation and other shafts through the house or another structure? I like the idea of a room addition for the entry stairs.
Great stuff. I'd make mine a wine cellar in part as well. Perfect temps down there.
Amazing job!
You're going to have to dig that thing considerably deeper if you want to guard against Fallout
You should really think about making vertical bunkers ones that go up and down for people to have more space
Lift eyes on stairs/pipe for 90 degree flanges.
Don't let people stand under the equipment when lifted.
Max cost of that bunker 30,40k but what ppl know as long there are sheep’s money will be made
Great!
Great way to let your neoghbors know where youll be hiding
That was awesome
This design is good for wine and secret rooms and shelters. But why does Atlas not also have a design for lead acid battery banks? Temperature control would be so much more effective, extending the life of the batteries. As those batteries need water, an overhead tank would be under your feet and above the bunker, allowing gravity to assist. Hydrogen is very explosive but it is also the easiest to capture and to ventilate up out of the battery bank. Keeping those batteries out of the house is a good idea for safety. Keeping the batteries underground is a good idea for longevity and possible toxic hazard events.
If I get rich when I sell Vegas Pay domains to a corporate casino, I'd think these bunkers are exactly what I need for underground storage of off grid lead acid batteries. I like those better than lithium because the amps just can't be beaten. Instead of "escape hatch" just need a toxic waste container removal for when/if a battery spills
That is so cool
it's nice, but those little screws are not going to hold that thing down if it wants to float.
OUTSTANDING : o ......
I would live in the bunker and use the house as a Decoy 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Super Cool and would love to have one! Question, sewer and grey water will both be below public sewer service.. does this mean I have to have area and permits for a septic system as the design is not intended to tie into any public utilities?
If I had the money I would consider getting something like that
So does the $200,000 include travel and installation?
Of course not.
This comment is given sincerely and with empathy.
As a Mental Health Professional I feel confident that whoever would spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on these Atlas shelters, if psychologically tested, would meet the diagnostic criteria for Paranoid Personality Disorder.
They would be better served spending part of that $200,000 on therapy and get the help and emotional support they so desperately need.
haha storm bunker go brrrrr
I do wonder about the possibility of buying a plot of land and just installing a large bunker instead of a traditional house. Could you live in a fully underground bunker safely and comfortably? I'm thinking this would be an incredibly green option. By living underground in the bunker, not only are you always protected from disaster because you're literally living in a bunker, but the ground temperature should almost negate the need for heating and cooling. With satellite internet, solar power and batteries, a rain water catch system, and internal and surface greenhouses + livestock, you could live a luxurious 21st century life fully off the grid while remaining totally safe.
Cost effective also since the government can't tax what they can't see 😉 You're onto something big here.
Only problem is you gotta pay cash for a bunker no bank is gonna finance it
Interior video please sir
When he said Alice Missouri, I had to be one of the only people who knew where the heck that was. Go to the middle of nowhere turn right if you see nobody and nothing you’ve arrived.
I find it hard to believe someone would spend $200,000 to protect their wine! Wow! JK!
Money well spent
❤
They were thinking “ lets get drunk while riding out a tornado “
based on income per family, so starting tus u can go to school office and get a ticket voucher
theres roughly a thousand dollar generals stores in ohio, im gonna anonomously donate 1000k dollars to each store for school supplies for kids that means each school kid gets up to 25 dollars on supplies for school
Disappointed that the bolt holes didn’t align? Did the torched hole’s slag get ground smooth for a well seated bolt / washer / nut? I understand the weld will secure and seal, but why create a weak point?
leaves on the ground was this recorded last fall?
Yes
Can you imagine the bill for the installation alone? Much less the shelter itself. $$$$$
I imagine that some people are removing their swimming pools to replace them with the 'new' 21st century luxury attachment.. 😏
Gee no one will ever know we have this bunker.
Is Ron OK.???
This is one of the few actual growth industries that can't be outsourced to China and India. He might just be busy.
i'm sure after the last week he's massively massively busy
Wow 😳
Would these work as a basement in TX? I heard they can't build basements in TX because of the soil, but I wonder if these would work anyway.
Shock no HOA visits
That's a lot of work just installing
is the 200K price including the install or is it just the bunker itself?
Total
Is the installation included in the price of the bunker?
Why so shallow? Do you guys ever install them deeper? (Like 20ft - 30ft deep?)
Does that type of metal rust?
38,000lbs
8 Sausages per pound = 304,000
Thats a lot of Sausage.
Why all coated and all but the barrel end of the escape tunnel aint??
So you just torched. Then left bare metal. Then put nuts and bolts through the bare metal holes. Bare metal= rust.
How does this work in food prone areas
What I don’t understand is why aren’t they putting it any deeper? It looks like it’s on the surface?
How do you prevent long term corrosion and water ingress?
Plot twist: Dude just built the most expensive sex dungeon ever 🤣
well call it the pulte group back to school supply drive and maybe bill pulte will match me also
Your not using gaskets from what I see on stairs and tunnel
It’s welded there. No need for a gasket
You tell your neighbors you installed a new septic
Was this the company that was reporting everything to the FEDS about the shelter’s? Or was it someone else?
Would that particular shelter withstand nuclear?
Where is the normal arrogant guy? That actually knows his bunkers
No hard hats for safety is crazy
So we all going to ignore them not wearing PPE lol ?
What is the actual total cost though?
Mmm, thinking a shipping container with mods…
Better hope the IRS doesn’t see this when evaluating the lands value💀
connecting the stairs wasn't dangerous. Your lack of proper rigging made it more difficult.
Lack of hardhats, lack of hardhats, lack of hardhats. Bodies placed in extremely dangerous positions beneath loads or in positions where they can get crushed. No tag lines. Lack of eye protection with the torch.
Guys guys, please listen to me and correct this. I don't anyone maimed or killed installing a survival shelter.
wow, 200k for a steel box?
Whny not just buy or build a home that has a basement??
No Ron?
