@@shibbyjim Trudeau is a disgrace plain and simple. Have you never read a news paper or watched the news. It looks like people may be starting to figure that out.

I am pretty sure somewhere in the job description for PM it says “Extensive Experience Required” not “potential leader anxious to learn.” That sounds like a requirement for a camp counselor which is about all he is capable of doing! Would you board an airplane where the pilot has never flown before? That’s what you are voting for in Prince Justin. No experience = you pay more of your tax dollars to the Liberals. Look to the Ontario Liberals to see what a wasteland they are making of Ontario. Seriously, do some homework to get your facts straight then you’ll discover that he is the worst choice for PM. Canada should not become another play toy for this spoiled fortunate son from a rich family who is truly disconnected from reality.
You're missing a few facts. Justin taught a variety of subjects including Math and French. He then left that to do engineering in Montreal and later pursued a masters in environmental geography. And he has been fighting for Canadian federalism since he was in college. And if we're going to talk about educational credentials Harper left U of Toronto because it was too hard, then worked in a mail room and then eventually enrolled in University of Calgary and eventually got a masters in economics. And he was the first PM that didn't have a law degree. Nothing too impressive or even better than Trudeau when he started out as PM. And if we're going to talk about illegal substances Harper supported Rob Ford the poster child of using illegal substances in Canada this past election. So when Harper was elected as PM he set the bar on low experience.
Christian Davison The young person is going to win because so many young voters don't vote but now with the promise of legalization that's about to change. I predict Justin to win and also for the largest voting turn out in history and also for Justin to win with a land slide victory not just boarder line.
Bob TheBuilder He likes the fact that the CBC views Justin favourably so that CBC coverage of politics can go back to "sunny ways" similar to Chinese State media. All problems appear to go away.
The "sunny ways" would come back a lot sooner if it weren't for haters like you who despise and attack him for everything he does, even if Harper did the same thing.
The Middle Class is suffering? No raise in 30 years? I'm confident he has NO idea what he is talking about. He's substituting substance for style. It works well. But it won't work in a debate. Iggy tanked the party in 2011 after the debate when Layton nailed him. Harper and Mulcair are going to eat this kid alive.
Its a shame that hes got his fathers looks and his mothers intellect, and not the reverse. Canada used to be respected elsewhere with leaders like Pearson and Pierre Trudeau, now its just going the way of the US. Too bad.
I'm Canadian and would like to go back to the Monarchy. Soon we will have a Asian or Pakistani PM In Canada representing their interests. I can't handle this. I can't grow to be a old man and see this happen. Just like the collapse of Germany's borders is causing me to want to go fight. I honestly can't live in this world.
sweiland75 Show me someone to vote for that stands up for what is right and stays true to there promises... We shouldn't be allowed to vote for idiots, but that's the only choices we have..
MrWizardofozzz justin trudeau voted for bill c-51 bottomline I DONT TRUST HIM! tom mulcair is a calm rational minded person who doesnt want to spy on people for protesting a pipeline
michael coutu Politicians always make promises and then forget them when they are elected... Why is Tom any different..?? Are you saying only Tom will keep his promises..?? Justin's only role is to make voters see no other decision than voting for Harper and are both the same people, why else did Justin refuse to join Tom and the NDP boys and stamp out the Harper regime..?? Obviously, Justin is working with Harper and it doesn't matter which wins, same dictator that needs to take away your freedom because of a fake war..
P.M. Harper has a vision for Canada. Mulcair and Trudeau have not given the Canadian people a vision. Prime Minister Harper has a vision for Canada, but, you the Canadian public, thats for Stephen to know and for you to find out. He wrote a book recently-is it there?
The guy just looks good. So is his father but the depth he's racked? Is just about enough for me not to vote. The world can't afford it. No trudeau for me.
There's far more important issues right now than just weed. And just because he said it doesn't mean it will happen. Moreover, you'll handle up spending more money on weed because of the tax than you are right now. Harper might not be your first choice but there's one thing for sure; he has far more experience in the working world and in leading a country than trudeau, who is born of huge privilege, have. Trudeau doesn't have any real vision. He's just fluff and B.S. Typical media puppet. As for weed i really don't care whether its legalized or not. I'll still use it anyway. What truly matter for me is jobs and economic health. And Canada, under harper rule, have one of the richest middle class right now.
George didn't make this one easy, but Justin is good with rhetoric. Listen, I get that what was said about the Prairies was...what it was, but voting Conservative is disgusting. You're voting for some of the most retrograde policies, the kind that make people suffer. Liberals have made people suffer too, but these Conservatives are the worst in almost every sense. I've agreed with them on a select few issues.
Im 28 and will be voting for the first time in a while ... I will vote for Harper not because I agree with him on much of anything its just I feel I have to because Trudeau is absolutely horrifying.
Bryan3934 same age first time voter and I will be voting for Trudeau because I want weed legal. I promise you Trudeau or who ever promises legalization will be the next PM
He said "the plan is to target Canadians" Well 40% of Canadians don't want what he says! He is now changing very important policies that Stephen Harper has put into place in order to keep us safe and could put us in serious danger! I think he would be better to go into acting and become a movie star, or maybe be a model in GQ!
+Ruth Vaillancourt Well, you're stuck with him for another 4 years anyway. But, in all seriousness, give him a chance. He hasn't really gotten the chance to prove himself yet since he isn't sword in until November. And he has to have something going for him if the majority of the Canadian population voted for him.
+Ruth Vaillancourt I can see Stephen Harper's fear campain worked quite a bit. The conservatives keep on blathering about how their policies keep us safe from danger (real or imagined) and how the other parties will bring on the apocalypse by changing them. This is the same kind of bullshit Americans use to justify carry permits to "protect themselves" while totally ignoring the actual reality and numbers. Whether you like the Liberals or not, I think the best possible thing for us right now is to watch what they do and in 4 years, realize the changes we feared so much never put us in "serious danger" as the Conservatives claim. How legitimate can a party' ideas be when the need to scare the crap out of us to get us to agree with them?
I want to like him... I really do... But he's so idealistic. He doesn't explain how he's going to follow through with his plans (which are vague to say the least).
I think he will be very good for Canada, and I wish him all the best. It would be really nice if the US found some candidates like this young man. Instead of the self righteous trash that runs in US elections.
Sounds good to me. Please, if you are critical, please link to the interview that Stephen Harper did with George S. or the one Tom Mulcair did. I genuinely would like to see them do real interviews and hear what they have to say. I would like to see all the candidates sit down and have a real debate about their policy ideas and positions. Personally, I am more of a Green, but JT holds his own here. This fellow rep's Canada's people more then Stephen Harper.
Politics nowadays is about narrative and how candidates portray themselves by defining themselves in the most simple (and simplistic) way. Trudeau is about being young and positive in contrast to old guy Harper and negative guy Mulcair. It might work because that's how it is done these days.
Alistair Overeem as a first time voter same here and I will try and bring atleast 10 more votes first time votes with me... first time voters will be the change we need!
That you are, to comment almost three years later and with pure intent to insult, that sir truly does make you a complete fucking idiot. Lets soak it in, your time to shine, perhaps play The Duck Song, it seems to make you feel better.
What a pleasure to watch. Strombo is such an asset to Canada, such a consistently excellent interview, I just love him to pieces. Wish we had him down here in the States. And the new Prime Minister comes off so human and down to earth here, it's a pleasure to watch (even though he looks 14). One hopes he will not become too jaded and cynical after a few years in the hot seat. Congrats, Canada. Great choice.
More than 50% of Canadians think Cannabis should be legalized and controlled. He says he will legalize, Harper ignores the majority. Who is leaning more towards Democracy? Enough Said. Not a big fan of "government control" But if you actually are worried about Marijuana getting to your children, government control will do a better job of that than the black market... Stop being Ignorant and Afraid. Or dare I say .. Even a little dumb.
Barry Chadwick Justin Trudeau will canter to La belle province of Quebec at the expense of others. I am from Ontario and believe me I say we should let Quebec go. Quebec's freedom is also Canada freedom.
Thats the dumbest idea i've ever herd I know Stephan harper would agree, Quebec is the cultural hub of our nation without quebec this nation would be but a glimmer of it self we need all of this nation to be great from coast to coast...I don't really care or know who's gonna win its just great to be a part of Canada's democratic process...
Barry Chadwick I respect your opinion but the way I see it is this... Pierre Trudeau came along and brought in bilingualism which hinders the qualify English speakers from getting elite jobs. This is a long over due war between new France and New England and if the French as not gotten over the fact they lost the war by now they never will. Look at it this way , in 1995 referendum they came close to separating. Fast forward to present and they vote the PQ party in. Pauline Marois adds another Anti-English law because according to her the French language is in a fragile state. Then she wants a majority government but instead of voting her back in they vote for a party to remain in Canada. This does not make sense. By the way if Quebec separates the Maple Leaf which is a French symbol goes back to Quebec and I am taking back the Red Ensign Flag plus my English symbols. They have change our street names form English to French. What they want is BILINGUAL TODAY FRENCH ONLY TOMORROW and none of this should be happening. Quebec has made it very clear the English is not welcome there. I am sorry but this war has to end and Quebec and Canada needs to part way or this will just continue to go on and on.
I didn't vote Liberal, I voted Trudeau ! Give this guy a chance, he doesn't need a speech in his hand to be able to speak from his heart. Wake up people !!!!
He better be running against harper...We need a PM who cares about Canada. Our people and environment are important, we are the builders of the future Canada. We need to work on things which make our future better as a whole, and not just focus on the economy. We also need to be friends as we have been in the past with everyone who wants free democratic societies, not buddy up with a dictatorship rule which takes rights and freedoms, enforce instead of serve and protect, and run broke those who turn the gears of the Canadian workforce. Science is the guiding light of all life. It is our path to our future and if we cast it aside to rip our Earth of materials we shouldn't even need, we have no future. We can't get to a life-sustaining planet with our knowledge and technology. We cannot live on the moon long term. We can not live in a tiny space station long term. We need to take action to save the environment, while working together as friendly nations to better ourselves as a whole. The political system of today doesn't work and this statement proves itself over and over every day. We need to re-think our economic system, and re-build the Canada our father's once saw. Our children are the future, not oil!!! Lets put more money into the educational systems from west to east. Lets pay the teachers and professors more to guide and teach our future while leaving the space and freedom to grow and expand their personal ways. For every student who graduates at least 5 fail or drop out. (rough estimate). This is troubling when you look at it on a grand scale and long term. It can be done, if we want to!. As long as there are guns, there will be killing. The greatest plague of all time is the violence and greed with in all of us. Instead of working on new viruses and making different ones, we should be studying where and why in the human system these plagues reside, and find a natural way to eliminate or control these areas. It can be done if we want to. The global bankers taught us a very important lesson. A system based around money ie> a monetary system does NOT work. It might look good on paper, it may sound good but slowly it takes and feeds the violence and greed. We need to start selecting our own people to run for leadership, not those who have been put in front of us and told "chose!!!" We need to love, not hate. rant over!!!
***** Correct ! Albertans are Scared of change! Most Albertans are way over their head in dept. The mere mention of the Alberta Government raising OIL Royalty rates or a Liberal or NDP government getting into power provincially SCARES the SH*T out of them! Me, I got lots of Money and a Good Pension, therefore I won't vote PC. It's that SIMPLE !
But a striving economy which is actually beating Ontario and British Columbia and having a city that is the cleanest city in the world (Calgary), albertas government isn't bad at all. And those are the few of a lot of contentions.
OK I will not try to judge or state my opinions the way I do but I like to make a good somewhat astute analysis of things. When I said from Quebec I meant active within it. Ignatieff was even if he was from Ontario. Montreal is a dangerous place for political protests to be going on that people elsewhere may have limited awareness about. Actually beside that I have actually always been a liberal supporter in the sense that I think it is the most versatile Canadian party and one of the most centrist - although until they picked Trudeau you'd want Ignatieff back (though I found him to be too arrogant) he was of a lot more character. The thing with Trudeau is that he just does not seem intelligent to me (that is my perception)
How British politics could do with the kind of campaign that Trudeau is running with the Liberals right now. We've descended into 'American style' personal attacks between parties as our Labour and Liberal Democrat parties call each others leaders names. I'd be voting for him if I lived in Canada or if he stood here. I don't totally agree with him, on environmental issues in-particular, but he is frank, positive and explains his positions.
For the first time in my life, I honestly don't know who I'll vote for between the Liberals, NDP, or Greens, in the next election. I used to be so certain about one of them. Perhaps it's a good thing though, because now I don't think I'll be overly stubborn about any one party. Except about the Conservatives. I can't find one logical reason to vote Conservative.
He says that he doesn't trash talk! Lmfao! It's funny how much he has changed! I like the guy, but I feel that it he really wants Mr. Harper Out, and if he cared about getting the conservative government out he would have United with the other left party. Mr. Mulcair asked him twice to unite the left, but he's greedy, and wants the chair for himself... Plus he uses attack ads, where Mulcair doesn't. Mr. Mulcair just says what he wants to do.
Really? Mulcair and Harper have been using attack ads. He does not believe in a formal coalition BEFORE an election as it gives voters less choice. Justin pushed for May to be in the debates because he believes in democracy
I don't know why everyone hates on Strombo. He at least lets his interviewees get their point out without constantly interrupting in an attempt to influence the conversation.

Who cares if he is young and "inexperienced". That might just be what our country needs.
Christian Davison The young person is going to win because so many young voters don't vote but now with the promise of legalization that's about to change. I predict Justin to win and also for the largest voting turn out in history and also for Justin to win with a land slide victory not just boarder line.
landslide? you really think?
***** Agreed :)
Christian Davison maybe not a landslide but he is going to win
***** fingers crossed, just don't know how long it would take to regulate weed
I'm not Liberal, Conservative, NDP, Green, or Bloc...
I'm Canadian. And that's why I'm voting Trudeau. He's our best option in that category.
Yeah...ok...
Hear, hear.
completely agree
Like mother, like son.
Proudly voted for him
Actually looks like a girl I went to high-school with her name was pat ! LMFAO 🤣 !
I like what Justin stands for, I hope he wins, I think he's the best for Canada.
+adam987689 #JustNotReady Being PM is not an entry-level job.
+52percent Tell that to Harper, dumbass.
+adam987689 Out of curiosity, what is it specifically that you like?
I agree. Harper can hand this moron his ass on a platter.
Are you saying the middle class isn't suffering? Because it is. The Liberals in Ontario have made sure of that...
Gary Taylor i am sure he can, being an ass himself.
what a mess he has made, already, bad mistake takeing this guy in,,a complete no nothing
Its a shame that hes got his fathers looks and his mothers intellect, and not the reverse. Canada used to be respected elsewhere with leaders like Pearson and Pierre Trudeau, now its just going the way of the US. Too bad.
damn bit harsh jerry
looks like he smoked a joint before he went on, the eyes don't lie.
I'm Canadian and would like to go back to the Monarchy. Soon we will
have a Asian or Pakistani PM In Canada representing their interests. I
can't handle this. I can't grow to be a old man and see this
happen. Just like the collapse of Germany's borders is causing me to
want to go fight. I honestly can't live in this world.
Everyone says he's not ready, I will vote for him coz he's got lots of new idea that will help Canada grow more....
+Edo Santo So you like on-the-job training, the old trial and error kinda stuff?
+Tudval Stone It worked out fine for his dad. At least Justin has held real jobs, something that PET never really did until he became a politician.
+Pauline Triage pardon...apparently the only job he has held is 'drama teacher'
Wasn't sure whom to vote for until the liberals admitted he had nice hair... Now he has my vote...
MrWizardofozzz Idiots like you should not be allowed to vote
sweiland75 Show me someone to vote for that stands up for what is right and stays true to there promises... We shouldn't be allowed to vote for idiots, but that's the only choices we have..
MrWizardofozzz
Tom Mulcair and the NDP
Before he became a clown
The guy just looks good. So is his father but the depth he's racked? Is just about enough for me not to vote. The world can't afford it. No trudeau for me.
kre8noys We can't afford weed not to be legal any more and we can't afford any more of Harper's spending sprees we need change and that's Justin.
***** You are brain dead, go back to school.
This guy quality show that ,the serious wise people are no place on the politic field, just for buffoons.
Team Justin!!!!
Between Justin Trudeau and Rachel Notley we appear to be royally screwed.
Good on ya Justin! JUSTIN FOR THE WIN!!! 2015 HE WILL BE OUR PM!!!!!!!!!!! Vote Liberal!!!!
I agree. Albertans think they are the center of the universe. Forget Torontonians, its the Albertans.
Have you been to Alberta? There's a reason why they do. They're awesome and Alberta is awesome :)
Zach McDonald I spell it OILberta !
From Edmonton Alberta !
Zach McDonald
Damned right my man.
***** And what are you? An Eastern Canadian Douchebag from Ontario?
EatHelloKitty15 -- You sound like a Torontonian!
down in the dumps he going to fix it we are in trouble
He talked a good game, and fooled the country into believing his bullshit.
You're a poop head
Tor Guy
Agreed
Idiot
He is the best cause he always think about the middle class people's and never sycophant to the riches.
I wonder what The Real Strombo thinks about JT now!
I'm twelve minutes in and he hasn't mentioned a single issue. This guy. This is not my kind of guy.
I cannot take this man seriously.
As a Yank, seeing him talk for the first time, he seems to have, oh, about 100x the charisma of that goofball Harper.
So Canada voted on Crisima and look what happened.
@@colenefrood5002 Yeah it got better. who knew!
How many idiots are in these comments? A lot.
Im 28 and will be voting for the first time in a while ... I will vote for Harper not because I agree with him on much of anything its just I feel I have to because Trudeau is absolutely horrifying.
Bryan3934 at least vote for NDP , the item at your left would make a better prime minister than Harper
Yea your right.. i might just see if theirs a Libertarian candidate to vote for.
Bryan3934 same age first time voter and I will be voting for Trudeau because I want weed legal. I promise you Trudeau or who ever promises legalization will be the next PM
***** At least Justin will dye it when
this country turns it grey from stress.
A "filter between his brain and the mouth" what a smart way to describe Justin Trudeau....
This hasn’t aged well.
great interview. George seemed quite a bit star-struck (with Trudemania "II"?) but, with this, Justin spoke well. Very well.
Michael Ignatius - he left to the US just like the attack ads - he was "just visiting"
***** so what and who cares ?????.
(well maybe you do if your'e easily impressed with credentials)
Ignatieff
PM!
the last part is the powerful part....
I want to like him... I really do... But he's so idealistic. He doesn't explain how he's going to follow through with his plans (which are vague to say the least).
Justin Trudeau becoming our new PM just makes me so proud to be Canadian, I've never seen a politician that is so genuine and relatable
LOL
This held up great lol
ask him if he can say Saskatchewan
Did Trudeau's responses sound scripted, rehearsed, or light on details? No I didn't think so either.
Is engagement the only word he knows?
strombo.. master!
Are you his slave?
...is that a pumpkin or your head?
Holy cow guy ya look like you're ready to pop...eat less and shit more
I think he will be very good for Canada, and I wish him all the best. It would be really nice if the US found some candidates like this young man. Instead of the self righteous trash that runs in US elections.
Self righteous trash? This comment hasn't aged well has it
He will never win office.
Conservative pride!
To all the haters: be glad you don’t have trump
Sounds good to me. Please, if you are critical, please link to the interview that Stephen Harper did with George S. or the one Tom Mulcair did. I genuinely would like to see them do real interviews and hear what they have to say. I would like to see all the candidates sit down and have a real debate about their policy ideas and positions. Personally, I am more of a Green, but JT holds his own here. This fellow rep's Canada's people more then Stephen Harper.
why does he think we all should be smoking marijuana?
+Ken H when the fuck did he say that?
I vote liberal because I love when people steal my money.
Wonderful, The more I see of Justin, the more I'm willing to give him my vote. Get out and Vote folks. (anyone other than Harper)
Congratulations Prime Minister Trudeau, well done!
This guy reminds me of Tony Blair! All spin, no message! If I were Canadian I would vote for the New Democratic Party.
Infinitely more charming than Harper, but I worry about his foreign policy more than anything in these times...
Sold right out to the CCP
Politics nowadays is about narrative and how candidates portray themselves by defining themselves in the most simple (and simplistic) way.
Trudeau is about being young and positive in contrast to old guy Harper and negative guy Mulcair.
It might work because that's how it is done these days.
if you believe what that idiot says
As a Canadian citizen I will be voting for Trudeau. We need change.
Alistair Overeem as a first time voter same here and I will try and bring atleast 10 more votes first time votes with me... first time voters will be the change we need!
yet another fucking idiot
That you are, to comment almost three years later and with pure intent to insult, that sir truly does make you a complete fucking idiot. Lets soak it in, your time to shine, perhaps play The Duck Song, it seems to make you feel better.
Hampton Brandon change? His change is destroying Canada !
how do i put on unlike click on georges aggressive bully face
What a pleasure to watch. Strombo is such an asset to Canada, such a consistently excellent interview, I just love him to pieces. Wish we had him down here in the States. And the new Prime Minister comes off so human and down to earth here, it's a pleasure to watch (even though he looks 14). One hopes he will not become too jaded and cynical after a few years in the hot seat. Congrats, Canada. Great choice.
Idiot
Is it True do?
How do you square this farcard with the real Justin.
The Justin Trudeau of SCL Lavalin, etc
canada needs a such young..positive motivated and hard working person like Trudeau.
A lot of the comments on this video didn't age well.
You the man, Justin!
you still thinks he the man???????
@@Chris-lz7sx no, no.. not at all! What a fool I was! He has revealed his true colours.
A despicable, hypocritical phony.
Thanks for catching this!
Imagine what 1.8 Billion would have done for Calgary ?? and it gets blown on Toronto ?! please explain Harper.
Justin reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones...too young, too stupid, rides on a name and given power we are all fucked!
He says "I" approximately 55 times in this interview.
But if you win will you get us the stanley cup back
Can Quebec and Ontario give him everything he needs, perhaps but its earned from this point forward
Your way of thinking shows the kind of idiots that votes Trudeau.
Barry Chadwick
Justin Trudeau will canter to La belle province of Quebec at the expense of others.
Barry Chadwick
I respect your opinion but the way I see it is this...
It was all a lie.
I didn't vote Liberal, I voted Trudeau ! Give this guy a chance, he doesn't need a speech in his hand to be able to speak from his heart. Wake up people !!!!
Idiot
He only makes sense.
I've never seen a person sit so awkwardly on a chair than George S.
God if we only knew what he would do to Canada. Looking back now it was nothing but red flags.
Strombo for PM!
Alberta is pretty messed up politically.
Correct ! Myself, I have not Voted PC since they started trying to Bust The Unions in 1984.
It's that SIMPLE !
jackpontiac52
Your loss!!!
011jaffa Huh?
But a striving economy which is actually beating Ontario and British Columbia and having a city that is the cleanest city in the world (Calgary), albertas government isn't bad at all. And those are the few of a lot of contentions.
Trudeau 2015 !
I prefer Mulcair - if you want Harper out I may go with the NDP in this scenario
This interviewer is strange
why he lean toward the person, lean out of his chair. The man is improper
I don't vote, but I hope he wins.
I do vote, and hope he looses.
crunk4124 sheeit, you should vote for him instead
Adam Holmes Why? He's just another Conservative. Why replace one Conservative with another?
Does that is suppose to make any sense?
Aaron Lewis todays liberals are tomorrows conservatives. Plus steven harpy is a fucking dink.
The Jeffery epstein,Barry &honey Sherman connection? Trudeau and rcmp hit job
*****
I might just. Trudeau won points with me for having been a teacher. We need less businessmen and lawyer-onlys in politics.
J.T., Get your Dads MB Gull Wing on the Road. THEN, you will be the next PM !
Holy crap. Pierre actually owned one of those sexy beasts? Awesome.
AinarFM A Gull Wing and also I seen him driving an Old MG-TC or it might have been a TD on TV one time. John Cretien was also into Collector Cars.
