yes, it goes hard, the nonstop drumming, the arcade/kahoot sound, and the emotional sound it brings.
someone had commented on Bowser Factory saying it was just a worse Toad's factory, now maybe I'm tripping but they sound nothing alike? I love Factory but I'm glad it made it past a round at least
I'm not gonna lie Mk8's bowsers castle genuinely gives me the most bowser vibes out of all the tracks i feel like the older ones just got bowser wrong.

I personally don't find the MK8 version particularly memorable. My favourite is probably GCN but I really like the melody of the GBA version; I don't think we've seen the full potential of it yet.
I really hope we get a GBA remake soon!

About gba bowser castle 2 (ds remake) I think it lost in the first round not because it's bad but because the sound quality is TRASH. it sounds like you put a speaker in the middle of a metal pipe, making some weird distortions. but i do agree it should have at least made it to second round.

I am not surprised that the DS version of GBA Bowser Castle 2 lost to N64 Bowser Castle. While I do think the remix does not deserve the hate it gets it just doesn’t compare to the dark atmosphere of N64.

It’s a song that peaks at the start, automatically made it second for me
I believe the reason the GBA remake of SNES BC did better than the original is cause of what they were up against. SNES lost to GBA and the remake lost to an Arcade tune, which is a much less well-known pick. The outcome probably would have been more accurate if there were a loser's bracket
