I agree with everything you said, but what I always think when people criticize Glossier for not including people with severe acne in their campaigns is... well, they never claimed to be aimed at that specific population. I mean, they do sell "acne targeting products" but they seem to target just regular/normal pimples, not ACNE. So we can't really blame them when they have never claimed to be a brand for serious skin issues. If you are looking for that, you should look for brands that DO praise themselves for creating product for severe skin problems, like Murad for example.
@@Zubstep1315 but they say that they have products for acne or pimple? Because, if they say "acne", well, that's a problem, to say the least (I'm asking because up until now, I have never heard about that brand)
Personally i don’t really know if I agree. When I walked into the NYC store, a lot of the employees weren’t „stereotypical beauties“ when it came to various things, regarding skin texture, acne, weight, body hair…
Hi Cassandra! Several of my subscribers recognised footage from my channel in this video. Unfortunately you’ve used more than 30 clips from 4 of my videos, without permission, and without any credit. Would really appreciate you rectifying this as soon as possible. Thank you 👍 x
Your hair is so naturally beautiful in this video! It always looks beautiful but I love the natural curls and hairstyle here! Just perfect! Thank you for this awesome content!
One comment about mica: There is natural mica (mined via child labor), and there's synthetic mica (made in a lab). Synthetic mica is cheaper and more vibrant, so many companies are switching to this more-ethical form of mica. I just thought I'd throw this info out there 😊 Amazing video as always!!
Is there a way to know which type of mica is used in your make up? I’ve been looking at the ingredients on some of my eyeshadows and it doesn’t specify which :/
You know what? If people completely stop buying products with mica (just because some mica is collected with child labor doesn't mean all mica is) those kids will die of hunger. They don't work because they want to, they work because they don't have anything else to make money and literaly survive. Those kids won't work but neither eat. Not buying products with mica no more won't stop the main issue that is poverty. You are actually not helping those kids, you are just making things more difficult. Instead of not buying products with mica try to finding a way to improve the economical situation of their country. Until then, playing saviour won't work. And mica isn't only on makeup and skincare, is EVERYWHERE. so it's literaly impossible to not buy mica. Search about it
Their skincare didn't impress me but I LOVE all the makeup I've tried. I'm all about the easy, my-face-but-better look so you could say I'm their target market haha. I've repurchased boy brow and the cloud paints in particular several times.
Cassandra: You said in this video: “I believe in judging people for how they clean up their messes.” Please give credit to Matilda on Video for the many, many video clips of hers you used with neither permission nor credit.

I have a UV allergy that causes me to have polymorphic light eruption, the constant reapplication of strong sunscreen and any accidental sun exposure I may get causes my skin to be very dry, but not that sensitive to fragrance, in fact the only topical products I find give me a rash are caffeine solutions because of the sun sensitivity and citrus fragrance which is not overly common, I find glossier products and particularly there makeup great for my dry skin as they are so moisturising, and there makeup is so natural I can reapply my sunscreen and then just put some more cloud paint on. This is a great video and I'm so glad they are Cass approved :)

@@CassandraBankson This is also not fair use considering you aren't educating anyone on the specific product or addressing/critiquing the product in the footage or the clips themselves. You're using it as.. well B-roll, aesthetically, and that doesn't really constitute fair use :( you have access to products, filming equipment and staff.. I suggest making your own content or sourcing b-roll more ethically than letting your employees rip it off somewhere with or without credit. I loved all the glossier makeup products I've tried but I never actually gravitated towards their skincare. It looks pretty but overpriced, and it doesn't seem to be worth it.
The Solution chemical exfoliator changed my skin for the absolute best. Of course I'm just one person. But I no longer get painful cystic acne and whenever I do get a little blemish here and there, there's no hyperpigmentation like before. Im fair skinned and I used to have brown splotches from acne scars all over my cheeks. They were all gone 4 months after I started using it. I've been using it now for almost 3 years

I love their blushes and brow gel. The formulas don't break me out and look so natural. I'm yet to try their skincare line. But as someone who has textured skin and scarring from acne, I'd love to see them market their products on someone who has this.
So I just left a comment elsewhere but their The Solution saved my skin from the crazy acne marks I had on my cheeks and I no longer get cystic acne (I get a pimple here and there. Usually around my period, normal stuff) I'm 26 I've been using it for almost 3 years, basically since it came out. My skin is honestly the best it's ever been
As someone with extremely sensitive skin, I have found glossier's serums, especially the super bounce and super pure have worked wonders on my skin. Mainly because they are so lightweight. I actually switched to the Ordinary which has a higher formulation than Glossier and it was too strong for my skin. Glossier is light enough that it does not bother my skin. Plus the serums are fragrance free. Being that most of their skincare has fragrance in it, I have had to be mindful of that and only use the ones that don't, like the serums. I thought Cassandra made some great points. She didn't overly bash glossier, but did make the point that while glossier does need some improvement, overall they are doing a pretty decent job. They are doing their best to try to correct their mistakes. I do like that they are cruelty free, and while they are pricey, they are not too much more than say drugstore serums. Drugstore serums can be pretty expensive depending on what you buy. I really like Glossier's serums and the perfecting skin tint, as well as some of their other makeup. I don't have perfect skin by any means but I feel that Glossier's formulations are light enough that for someone with very sensitive skin - my skin is so sensitive a weather change can trigger a flare up. The formulations do not bother my skin nor does the makeup make me feel like I'm caking product on. I do wish they offered products that weren't as dewy, however, they do have some really enjoyable products. They are pricey but not near as bad as some other brands. I love that while the brand seems to only market for people with good skin, their overall motto is to love and accept who you are. To be comfortable in the skin you are in and be comfortable in not hiding what you perceive to be your flaws.
Oh my goodness this was so helpful! (And thanks for the sweet little reminder at the end 😊) My skin is super sensitive and I’m using The Ordinary right now, it’s a little too strong so I’ve been desperately trying to find another brand. Like, I really don’t want to damage my skin and I’m worried, so I’ve checked out some places. I looked at Glossier and needed more info, so your comment was so helpful! Us sensitive skin people need to stick together hahaha! Anyways, again, thank you so much. I’m definitely going to explore Glossier more seriously now ☺️
@@paigem.5999 I'm glad it was helpful! I struggled myself and still continue to struggle and worry about damaging my skin. Having sensitive skin is so hard, and expensive too. I think it is just important to remember that as long as you are making a positive effort to take care of your skin that's all that matters. I've had really bad eczema and psoriasis my entire life, so trying new products can be a literal nightmare. However, I try to stay positive about it and have come to really enjoy the process of taking care of my skin and myself. Let me know if you need any other product recommendations, I've done my fair share of researching products and following (and not following) a doctors advice. There’s been a recent study on loads of makeup where an alarming rate of PFA’s (forever chemicals linked to thyroid cancers, fertility issues, liver damage, etc) have been found, I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on it!! I can’t believe this isn’t all over the news 😳 There needs to be more awareness on this
This. I know a youtuber girl (I want to keep her anonymous just to be respectful) who used to test cosmetics (like shampoos (pantene) and whatnot), and years later she made a video telling her subscribers she has cancer. I wonder if it has anything to do with the crazy amount of product use, I would say probably. Even shampoos aren't safe (Syoss, Nivea, all the jazz you can find basically anywhere). I'm actually worried that I cannot wear makeup without damaging my health - what products aren't toxic? basically all are. maybe some exceptions here and there, smaller brands or whatever. I find it funny how we discuss skin care A LOT, youtubers like Cassandra and others tell us "what's good for our skin" but nobody talks about what chemicals these products contain or about the studies made on these chemicals. Even titanium dioxide( that well seen CI 77891) , contained in almost ANY cosmetic product (BASIC SOAP like dove, shampoo, makeup like eyeshadow, lipstick, powder, foundation), has been linked to the possibility of cancer (depending on amount, inhalation etc) due to animal testing studies if I remember right. I understand it is used as a pigment, but that shouldn't make it right. Honestly, I switched back to homemade soap like sulphur soap, that doesn't contain any of this crap and can be bought at the pharmacy. I wonder if I can do the same with makeup, maybe use hypoallergenic makeup? We absolutely need more research on this. I think all these miracle products come with a price, and that is your health. The fact that shampoo makes your hair instantly soft is so unnatural, that's absolutely not normal, just like those Veet creams that make your leg hair fall off. Nothing natural about those
I think Dr. Mike spoke about this in a recent video and i think he said the study didn’t confirm those claims about these ingredients, i don’t remember which video it was but if you are interested you should try and find it and since he is a certified medical professional he doesn’t spread misinformation and gives scientific explanations.
@@juliajulia1182 benzene in sunscreens is a contamination issue, it's not supposed to be in there according to formulation . Chemical filters used in sunscreens are said to be absorbed in the blood stream and a study even found that they could cause hormonal imbalance, yet they aren't actually harmful as the amount of sunscreen people actually use and how often is less. A lot of studies are inconclusive cuz they r tested on animals whereas they can show different results in humans. E.g. even if vaccines succeed in animal trials there are chances that they might have a set of side effects or be ineffective for humans. Hence human trials are necessary. Titanium dioxide is a good sunscreen agent but one isn't obviously going to ingest it or slather on massive amounts frequently. It's the dose that makes the poison. Everything at a higher dose can kill you. If research and studies come out u have to look into the control and variables. Also yeah I agree that using make-up everyday can do more harm than good cuz it's made of chemicals and we don't know what contamination issues are there.
People with acne or other skin conditions should not be made to feel like they can only use full coverage makeup and I feel like the lack of representation by such brands doesn’t help.
um if you have acne you should be laying off the products until you find something prescribed by a doctor to fix your skin. why wouldn't someone with acne want to cover their scars? I really do not see the point of this complaint.
So I have had bad cystic acne my whole life and went on accutane and it started to come back in my adult years and I always had like slight scarring from it. I started using their milk jelly cleanser solution and the zit stick with the priming moisturizer switching from juice beauty’s acne line and I have to honestly say I didn’t expect much but my skin currently looks the best it ever has. I switched all my makeup and everything to glossier and I was shocked seeing everyone kind of say it was for people with already good skin because my skin was pretty bad and I work construction which makes it worse. But it’s cleared up entirely since I switched. I’m surprised they don’t market more towards people with acne because it seemed to work to treat it pretty well in my experience at least.
I live in Australia and Glossier still isn’t available here so all I’ve managed to try so far is Cloud Paint (bought on EBay). While I do love Cloud Paint (Dusk is my favourite everyday shade) I’m on the fence about trying anything else tbh, especially because my only opinions are to buy their products on EBay or spend quite a bit of money on parcel forwarding. Thanks for this video Cassandra, I feel like it will help make my decision easier! :)
When you dig in, almost any brand has done some shit behind closed doors That being said I never liked their products And it doesn't mean that this is normal it is not. Those things shouldn't happen
I’ve already read many comments stating exactly how I feel, yet it’s so powerful and important to say over and over again. You are an incredible human being in a continuously growing way. Your sister is right, we the people want to see you become comfortable with the beauty your natural curly hair brings! Indeed, you are a gorgeous butterfly inside and out, and your videos have swept me away. However, the simple hair up-do with your natural curls have me stunned! I’ve rewatched this video back to back not only for the good content yet for the pure beauty you have put on my screen! 💕
My skin is not sensitive. I ended up w a bad fragrance allergy rash from an olay cleanser. I had used it for years. Trust me. You don’t want to develop this allergy & anyone can.
So............. I used to work at the NYC location FULL TIME in August of 2019. Granted, I literally worked there for a MONTH due to a better job opportunity arising (not because of work conditions mentioned in the video). I have to say that as NYC native and a WOC, there was literally 80-90% of editors who worked there who were Caucasian and most of them were gentrifiers or people not from NYC. Which, in theory, not a big deal; however, this did make me feel like how can someone like me -- a girl from the Bronx get this job because there wasn't a lot of diversity in the workplace at all or anyone from here that can relate. You could literally count how many minorities worked there. I personally am NOT discounting anyone's experience because that 10-20% most likely had those experiences mentioned in the video but it would have more so be from a customers' interaction. Even though there wasn't enough women or men of color in these positions, I honestly never felt any racial tension but did like the job. I really feel it was because I was there for such a short time so again, not trying to claim it was unicorns and rainbows but I could see partially how these things can happen. also as a CYSTER, and oily skin person, I really did enjoy their products but never used it to try to fight my acne issues. I really just wanted give my own insight on how I saw it.
Thank you SOoooooo much for this comment and letting me know about this - I was completely unaware this happened to Matilda until it was brought up, and rescheduled my day to make sure this gets fixed (I would have done it sooner buts it’s 6 am here on the west coast and I jumped on it as soon as I woke up!!) I am trying to reach out to Matilda to speak, but in the meantime here is what I’m doing to fix the problem: The guy that edited this video is no longer on this team. I have removed and blurred all of the pieces of content I could find of hers in this video to ensure they are not used. I am looking to get a hold of the original footage to see what I (or another editor) can edit or edit over or be corrected. I am looking to understand why Matilda was not credited like Dr dray was later in the video. As a contact creator I know how much work goes into videos, which is why, to create daily content, we enlist the help of over 6 other people to work on each video. Still, just because a clip is fair use or legal to include doesn’t mean that I think it’s right to include someone else’s work in a piece of content without being giving credit where credit is due. As an example of how we normally instruct editors to include clips from other creators, please see 20:42 with Dr. Dray. I am dismayed at this same principal was not carried into these clips of Matilda‘s, and although the editor who did this has been fired and he is no longer working on our team, I want to understand exactly what happened to ensure to the best of my ability this doesn’t get repeated in the future! Throughout the entire video, we use tons of references and resources - from news articles, magazines, video documentaries, etc. - however just because something is fair use or seen is covering the news or legal doesn’t mean that it is right in my mind, and I want to find out why Matilda was not credited in the same way as Dr. Dray so much of her content was used in this manner without my knowledge or prior approval. Again this matters extensively to me and I want you to know that I am doing everything in my power to fix the problem, including responded to Mathilda with this message below: Matilda, thank you SO much for bringing this to my attention!! I was completely unaware that the b-roll from so many of these clips came from your content without references or links - as a creator, I completely understand how much time and effort goes into creating videos and content, and always believe giving credit where credit is due! I believe in lifting other women and creators up which often means collabs, uplifting and promoting other creators, and featuring products I have purchased from creators/collection, but with credit. The editor who edited this video was new to our team, and this footage was actually corrected by 3 different people - although I didn’t edit this video and was unaware that this was happening, this is a platform I am responsible for at the end of the day and want to fix the problem. I feel sorry for matilda, but, y'all should've just waited for her explanation rather than barging-in on the comment section already questioning her morals and pointing out her hypocrisy

I completely agree. I feel like spamming someone with passive aggressive messages, sarcasm, and an overall air of superiority isn't the way to handle things gracefully. This could've all just been a misunderstanding (which it turns out it was) and there's honestly no need for being rude, even if the person made a genuine mistake that should be fixed asap
Well since I still can’t sleep, here I am, and here’s Cassandra being an adorable bean again. Also not gonna lie I’ve been waiting for this. I’ve never tried glossier but I’m a sucker for packaging and that’s the only thing that draws me to it & wanting to be aesthetic. But my checking account be like “nah” 👀😭
I got a full face (10 products) of glossier for $80 on cyber Monday. Check out the deals. I’ve never tried a concealer, powder, blush or bronzer that works as well. It’s seriously amazing.
Only 2 minutes in and I just had to say how beautiful you look in this video. Your always beautiful, but the way your natural curly hair is just tossed up with some pieces falling, and some mascara...gorgeous! I love when you wear your hair natural. Team wavy/curly beautiful butterflies!!
Mica is a really interesting problem because a lot the illegal mica is made in towns where the only means of making money is going into abandoned mica mines. A problem in a lot of these towns is that there aren’t schools and infrastructure that supports kids and so kids go with their mom and dad to work and since they are there they often just help out because they aren’t going to do anything. It doesn’t mean this system is right but it’s important to keep in mind that stopping consumption of mica without providing some substitute industry in parallel is arguably just or worse
Great video. On the point of advertising for different skin conditions like acne skin, I would rather a brand not do that if their products are not especially good or catered for acne . Otherwise, I guess they are kinda falling into false advertising zone...
I’m a 41yr old woman who has always thought this company was just for the young, but after watching this I’m going to try a few things out! So thank you! This is why I love you and your videos!! You’re Amazing!!
I had no idea about mica and child labor!! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Will definitely have to look out for that from now on in products... horrible
I know you see a ton of comments but I wanted you to know that three weeks ago I stumbled onto your channel and since then have learned so much, been entertained, and realized how important skincare is! Before you I had NO skin routine I'd simply put on 100% Shea butter on at night on my face and then in the morning just wake up. My skin was completely fine with that so I didn't think I needed to do anything else. Now two weeks into cleansing my face with the Naturium oil cleanser, then a vitamin c serum then a nice moisturizer or spf in the morning has changed my life! My skin is looking to vibrant and I just want to say thank you!! Also sorry this is so long 😂
Glossier is fine if you are aesthetic driven and don't mind paying more for cute packaging. But there are more affordable options that provide the same, if not better, results. Even their makeup has drugstore dupes. That being said, I really like their "future dew" oil/serum purely for that glassy skin look that lasts all day. I've yet to find another product like it.
sorry this is kinda unrelated but omg Cassandra you need to wear your natural curls/waves/texture more often!!! your hair looks exactly like mine does rn. literally even just put up, your natural texture is so pretty and i love occasionally seeing it in your vids, you look great!!
Hey Cassandra, I always appreciate the content you put out, but it would be very respectful to give credit when using other people’s content. As a creator, I think you can imagine how much time and effort Matilda spends on her videos and just taking these gorgeous clips from her without asking first and giving credit is not the solidarity I would like to see between women in the industry…

@@CassandraBankson Thank you for taking responsibility. You have addressed this very respectfully, and in such a way that few creators in this position would do. I came here to make you aware of the use of Matilda’s content without credit, but after your gracious response in the comments and to her, and your dedication to repair this issue, you have earned another subscriber in me. :) Glossier lovers unite! 🥰
@@zareshx m'kay, so do you want to be the one to respond to hundred or thousands of comments? NO, didn't think so. It's a copy and paste clearly because she is providing a lot of detail in regards to the whole situation. She already cancelled the morning to handle the issue, would you like her to cancel the week to respond to each comment? No, she doesn't have time, why do you think she has editors to begin with. Either she responds with a copy and paste or she just ignores the comments for lack of time to respond. Which works best for you? Oh wait, we don't care.
@@vampirevixen252 i never said i did. I mean theres nothing WRONG with it - its just so unprofessional, it literally shows how insincere her "apologies" are pfft..
I bought glossier skincare and some of their light wash n go makeup products last year. I felt they were pampering and enjoyable. What keeps me from replenishing my used up skincare is the price for the good but not great performance of their products with the cute millennia pink packaging. but also they discontinued their color line. I really wanted their platinum rose highlighter and a deeper lipstick :( if they ever offer a huge sale I’ll rebuy the bubble wrap, cleansing milk jelly, body wash, and some cloud paints.
I LOVED this video Cass! Tremendous work as usual!!!! Such a good way to start the day! I was wondering, have you ever considered making a video about the new vanessa hudgens' skincare line? It's supposed to be like yours, like with a different formulation for each person and there's also a dna test you can take, looks sketchy
I’m glad Cassandra rectified the situation and credited the rightful creator, but in the past she has also been copying (or don’t know if it’s her editing team)video titles from Alexandra Anele. I came here after i saw this blow up on reddit( the same place i read about the copied video titles with receipts)A huge creator like her must be made aware if that too( even if it’s just video titles). You don’t wanna be wrongfully accused of stealing other creators content. No hate, peace✌️
What exact titles did she copy? Because I looked on Alexandra's channel and their video titles are completely different. Not to mention that their content is completely different and Alexandra's titles are based on makeup tutorials which would be silly to copy if you're doing skincare.
I love this video Cass!! Lots of great info that shouldn’t be overlooked bc of drama due to an editing error that wasn’t even yours ❤️ I would love to see a video from you on Lush in the future!!
Cassandra, I love, love, love your work. Thank you for all the thorough reviews, I've learned so much. I'd like to suggest a topic: the pills or nutrition supplements that promise to improve the skin, like the ones from zitsticka, do they work?
I am obsessed with the new Cleanser Concentrate they just released. The ingredient line up is amazing and it seems pretty innovative for a cleanser. I love it and I do think it would work really well for someone struggling with skin issues, it has gentle exfoliants in it.
I’ve recently gotten into skin care & your videos are sooo helpful. I truly appreciate everything you do! I’m currently researching what products to try next and I can only do that because you make it so easy to learn about them without having to purchase them! 😍
i don't think she's being hypercritical about models with acne. i think the modelling industry and the makeup industry and even the television industry has an issue with sharing the spotlight with queens with acne. i hope to one day see a world where we really do.
Can you please explain pH and how to ensure different ingredients work optimally in a skincare routine? Like, should we be lowering our skins pH prior to Vitamin C or other ingredients, and how to do that? Should the pH of our skin or products change or stay the same throughout our routine? Deep dive into pH please! Thank you!
Please do a video on products good for rosacia, acne prone skin. I have both rosacia and pimples and it's so difficult to find products for my face. Acne products are too harsh, but rosacia products somehow don't help the pimples.
I also have rosacea and I have been equally struggling to find suitable skincare. The only thing that really helped was prescription treatment (ivermectin and metronidazole). It cleared my skin in a few weeks. If you have rosacea (papulopostular, looks like acne too) the usual skincare brands barely help imho. I got my prescription from Dermatica UK but there are other companies depending where you are offering prescription treatment. Or go to your GP or pharmacist. now for maintenance I use some facetheory products and a korean sunscreen (every day). I hope you’ll find the right treatment for you...
I won't support a brand that allowed its employees to be subjected to racist harassment. At any level. Too many better brands out there anyways to consider.
I'm sure every brand has had issues somewhere in regards to racism, inclusivity, sexism, etc. We might not hear about it but it happens daily in every workplace, unfortunately. I agree with you, though. I wish there was a way to know every time this happens so I can avoid brands that have issues with these kind of topics.
My skin loved the Priming Moisturizer Rich - I've tried to find something similar for less but I haven't found it yet. This actually made me feel hydrated in the winter - which is rare.

@@amilehonstein1671 first of all, i posted this before she even realized the issue (umm hello did you not see Cassandra's response to my comment) and addressed it and second, how on earth was my nicely worded comment being part of cancel culture? If a creator chooses to post content then it's fair game for others to comment and criticize constructively.
I understand that Glossier isn't for everyone but for me their skincare products work so well on my dry skin (I love how futuredew looks on my skin), and I actually really like that they have more low coverage options because I don't wear any kind of foundation and don't want to cover my freckles. Their makeup is amazing for someone like me who has never had the time or inclination for more extensive makeup looks (their boy brow is a complete revelation for me, I'd never use any other brow product).
Im pretty sure normal pimples are also called acne
@@sunsundks3891 Acne is actually a disease and pimples are a symptom so unless the pimples are consistent then that’s just a singular pimple.

One comment about mica: There is natural mica (mined via child labor), and there's synthetic mica (made in a lab). Synthetic mica is cheaper and more vibrant, so many companies are switching to this more-ethical form of mica. I just thought I'd throw this info out there 😊
Amazing video as always!!

@@tia4377 no not really. I wouldn't trust a companies word on things like this. I'd just look for things without mica.
@@elinalukaziak693 mica is everywhere, not just in makeup or skincare

Great video! I immediately recognized Matilda's videos in a lot of the footage. Before you come after Cassandra, please note that she and Matilda have addressed this (in the comments section) in the most kind, mature and classy way possible. These two ladies are an example for us all!
I've been using it now for almost 3 years
I’d really like to see Matilda On Video given credit for the flat lay clips in your video. Not cool to take/use someone else’s content without giving credit where credit is due 🤔

I love their blushes and brow gel. The formulas don't break me out and look so natural. I'm yet to try their skincare line. But as someone who has textured skin and scarring from acne, I'd love to see them market their products on someone who has this.
I do too! I recently got a makeup set from them and loved all the products. The mascara and boy brow were some of the best I’ve used.

I do wish you good luck in your skincare journey!

There’s been a recent study on loads of makeup where an alarming rate of PFA’s (forever chemicals linked to thyroid cancers, fertility issues, liver damage, etc) have been found, I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on it!! I can’t believe this isn’t all over the news 😳 There needs to be more awareness on this
@Knightmare we really can’t trust any industry can we 😭
I think CBC Canada had a mini report about that a month ago, it was pretty interesting.
We should be using lightt make-up when we have acne.
um if you have acne you should be laying off the products until you find something prescribed by a doctor to fix your skin. why wouldn't someone with acne want to cover their scars?
I love the way she connects glossier to a mean girl....the way she talks is too good💫

Thanks for this video Cassandra, I feel like it will help make my decision easier! :)

Your videos are just getting better and better! I can tell your working on your anxiety too like you seem more calm
just when i was thinking of buying glossier products the queen came 😭🙏🙏🙏🙏
Mica is a really interesting problem because a lot the illegal mica is made in towns where the only means of making money is going into abandoned mica mines.
And the problem is, sometimes people can't go to the doctor, so they only have this products that do nothing or can cause demage.
I’m a 41yr old woman who has always thought this company was just for the young, but after watching this I’m going to try a few things out! So thank you! This is why I love you and your videos!! You’re Amazing!!
My favorite series from you! The truth about XXX. I would love to see one on Perricone MD! Thanks!
Love your hair in this video!!❤️❤️
idk why but i trust her so much and she is really doing a great job of shading light over truth and giving truthful honest opinions.
Not to mention Glossier's perfume called "You" is soooooo good!!
I’ve never found a dupe for stretch concealer or the wowder. It seriously works so well
sorry this is kinda unrelated but omg Cassandra you need to wear your natural curls/waves/texture more often!!! your hair looks exactly like mine does rn. literally even just put up, your natural texture is so pretty and i love occasionally seeing it in your vids, you look great!!
Thank you SOoooooo much for this comment and letting me know about this - I was completely unaware this happened to Matilda until it was brought up, and rescheduled my day to make sure this gets fixed (I would have done it sooner buts it’s 6 am here on the west coast and I jumped on it as soon as I woke up!!)
I am trying to reach out to Matilda to speak, but in the meantime here is what I’m doing to fix the problem:
The guy that edited this video is no longer on this team.
Again this matters extensively to me and I want you to know that I am doing everything in my power to fix the problem, including responded to Mathilda with this message below:

Love these videos! We stan the honesty! 😁💙🦋
Cloud paint, stretch concealer and the cloud paints are my go to for a natural good skin day look
Cassie we need more of these. Can you do Urban Skin RX?
Love all her videos, seriously one of the realest and most trustworthy creators on the internet
Cassandra, I love, love, love your work. Thank you for all the thorough reviews, I've learned so much. I'd like to suggest a topic: the pills or nutrition supplements that promise to improve the skin, like the ones from zitsticka, do they work?
The zitstickas are awesome!!!
giiiirl why you always uploading when im about to go to sleep
but you know im gonna watch the whole thing here we go
I am obsessed with the new Cleanser Concentrate they just released. The ingredient line up is amazing and it seems pretty innovative for a cleanser. I love it and I do think it would work really well for someone struggling with skin issues, it has gentle exfoliants in it.
I loved the john Oliver moment 😂 " you can hyaluronic my acid any day"
I love to watch your video!! It's really amazing and informative!! Thank you💗
I’ve recently gotten into skin care & your videos are sooo helpful. I truly appreciate everything you do! I’m currently researching what products to try next and I can only do that because you make it so easy to learn about them without having to purchase them! 😍
Love these videos. Legit so informative. Love you Cass!
Loving the puns girl & these videos- keep killing it!! 💜💜🤗
i don't think she's being hypercritical about models with acne. i think the modelling industry and the makeup industry and even the television industry has an issue with sharing the spotlight with queens with acne. i hope to one day see a world where we really do.
She does have a video on rosacea and mentions acne, The Ordinary 3 Best Rosacea Products For Redness & Sensitive Skin Routines

@Bita Bishopp you were complaining about Trisha having a skincare line but she can, so your logic doesn’t make sense. Any other stupid complaints numpty?
I love their solution! It changed my skin.
Credit Matilda. You who is a youtuber should understand how awful it feels if someone steals your content without credit. (Thank you for replying and understanding Cassandra)
I appreciate you telling me about this and bringing this to my attention!
Again this matters extensively to me and I want you to know that I am doing everything in my power to fix the problem, including responded to Mathilda with this message below:
This is the message I sent:
Matilda, thank you SO much for bringing this to my attention!! Would you be open to having a conversation with me about what I can best do to help correct this? As of now, I have canceled my morning meetings to take care of this (apologies for not noticing sooner when it went live last night, I am west coast based and cancelled my meeting as as soon as I saw this when walking up at 6 am! Still haven’t had coffee, but this is more important to me rn) as well as blurred/removed all of your footage (please let me know if any has been missed!!) and this editor is now no longer on our team. He will not be editing any future videos on this channel. He does not have a position here. Still, I would love to have a conversation and hear from you directly. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention and I sincerely apologize this happened in the first place. It’s a pleasure to meet you, if even under these circumstances, and I hope to get to know you, your content, and perhaps speak or even meet with you sometime soon!
A note an dupdate since then - I have also reached out on IG, email etc and am doing other things behind the scenes to ensure this gets fixed.
I love your hair in this video!! 💜
I use Fair trade mica from mad mica's in my soaps. I wish there were more fair trade mica suppliers!
Okay but that thumbnail! 😍 It gave me some Pretty Little Liars vibes.
I love your skincare nerd videos 📚📝
Can you please review Nivea products ? I have been using their products for years and would like to know what you think about the company and the products and their ingredients.
Would be so cool if you could do a video on Dr. Jart products!!!
Dr. Jart products r not cruelty free so I doubt she'll do a video on them
@@melodyblackhall6702 Contrary to popular belief, not all Korean skin care products are vegan or cruelty free! You really have to do your research if you want to do K-Beauty!
@@vetsai8199 yes
Well, someone who has done a video on their products is Hyram...
@@db-gb5xi u may want to google Dr. Jart and their company if u actually think that they're cruelty free just because Hyram did a video on them. I stopped watching Hyram years ago because of so much misinformation
Hey, loved the video but i really think you should credit the b roll you're using. Especially for Matilda on video's flatlays. She's a small creator that makes wonderful content and deserves to be credited!

She already addressed the mistake. Leave it to them and stop cancel culture you vulture.
@@CassandraBankson glad to see you sorted things out! Xx
@@claram0nster yes I agree with your comment. You’re one of the only few that worded it nicely unlike the other people who were being childish.
Like probably a lot of brands it just depends on individual needs and preferences.
Can you please do one of these for Summer Fridays? 🙏
Credit Matilda on Video accordingly for using her footage with no permission!
This has already been addresses by Matilda on Video and needs to be discussed privately. Matilda on Video needs to ask her followers to stop posting comments about this. It's harassment at this point.
@@chandracox6814 and has this been addressed by Cassandra herself? If not, then I'll continue to notify Cassandra to credit Matilda like she should've been in the first place before posting the video 😊
If you’re going to steal something in such a public way I think you had better be prepared to be called out for it in public.

The u.s has mica mines they just prefer to buy it from cheaper mines with child labor. The u.s stopped producing it in order to import it, the problem is nearly every product with shimmer has it
That is so dumb we should source it ourselves! 🤦🏻♀️
She looks sooo pretty in this vídeo 😍
Loving the curly hair!!!
