One of the earliest memories of my childhood is watching this when my parents thought I was in bed but I was hiding behind the couch 😂
We recorded it from TV on VHS when I was a kid. I almost wore out the tape because I watched it so much 🤣🤣

It was great how mad they were at Burke and cheered when the alien got him. The actor's mother when she first viewed this movie, also cheered when Burke was got by the alien. Loved this reaction to one of my FAVORITE movies!!

Fun fact: in mad about you, Paul Riser’s real identity is actually Burke. He’s in hiding in the past.

Oh my God. I hope they are ok. Honestly I wasn't sure if they were going to handle such horror science fiction. But oh my😅
OMG they got so mad. I love listening to their perspectives.
They always know and use the names, and they speak of character and traits.
I also liked how they used their knowledge of the other movie, it shows how engaged they are in the film.
I do recommend ghostbusters from 1984 which I think was the movie before aliens that Sigourney weaver (Ripley) was in before this unless there's an obscure movie I haven't heard of
Been watching this movie ever since I was 4, I remember wanting to be an alien killing marine so bad, I used to turn out all the lights and walked around with my father's telescope as if it was a pulse rifle making the sound "BRDDDDDDDRP brdddddrp" with my mouth lol those were the days.
Great idea using the director's cut, it really adds to the movie, especially the backstories for Newt and her family, and Ripley and her daughter.

Predator was made as an homage to some of the ideas in Alien, they were big fans of it! And so am I: The xenomorph is my all time favourite movie monster!
One aspect of the story that I wish they included in the movie is that Ripley had a daughter waiting for her to come back to Earth. Her daughter lived and died before Ripley was rediscovered after 57 years of hypersleep. That unmet need to mother explains Ripley's close and immediate connection with Newt. So in essence, the final fights are showdowns between mothers of different species protecting their young.
That plot is in the extended version that they watched thankfully. In my opinion it's the most unforgivable cut from the the theatrical release. I just wish that there was a cut out there that contained the subplot involving Ripley's daughter and the turret scene but that did not include the scene at the colony prior to the marines' arrival. That would be perfect.
Naveed and Mansoor's reaction are reminiscent to my reaction watching this classic as a kid back in the early '90's....except for the cussing from Mansoor 😂. Classic movie 👌. Awesome channel 🙌
Aliens is one of the best sequels ever made. I'm glad they liked it.
I'm sure glad that the franchise ended there and they didn't spoil it by making progressive worse sequels that ran the whole thing into the ground. Yup, it sure is a good thing that Ailens is the LAST MOVIE IN THE SERIES. And nobody ever, ever, ever needs to see any of the others and spoil the whole experience.

But to be fair, they are never extend series just for the cash and making them worse and worse.

I love this movie so much its my number 1, Naveed jumping out of his chair pleases me, and Mansoor constantly gripping the edge of his seat also pleases me me, glad you guys took the time to watch on of the best sci-fi films ever made =]

Around Thanksgiving time in November you've got to have them watch The Wizard of Oz! It's a tradition and used to come on TV only at that time of year when I was growing up, before cable television lol. It still shows now on TV at that time of year.

Aaaa Ha ha ha ha 😆 YES!! This and Predator are fabulous action adventure movies. They were both so good they are movie franchises now. The artist that created the Alien was very good at knowing how to creep people out. H.R. Giger was such an amazing talent.

The guy that played Bishop is Lance henriksen he's a great actor he's been in over 100 movies but one of his first ones was called pumpkinhead if you like scary movies that's the one you should watch either one or two

This is arguably considered the best of the entire series
I was just watching this the other day, lol. I'm not one for scary movies. If I watch it's going to be Sci-fi and not serial killer but this is my FAVORITE of the franchise! Naveed and Mansoor should know that the reason why they weren't supposed to shoot the aliens when they were looking for the colonists was because they were under the power generator and the ammunition they were using could set off a nuclear reaction, which they did, which is why the planet explosion was so big.
I recommend showing them Gorillas In The Mist, another amazing performance by Sigourney, playing Dian Fossey who almost single handedly ensured the survival of the mountain gorillas of Rwanda, the numbers are still dangerously low but the ones we have are hear because of her.
I found it interesting that Gorman's suicide with the grenade was the one thing in the movie that they truly looked completely away from and couldn't bear to watch.
I'm just guessing and completely ignorant here, but maybe in their culture, suicide is a very bad thing.

@AlphaGamer1981 I was a little bummed that they missed that moment when Vazquez grabbed the grenade and held it with Gorman. That moment makes that scene so impactful!

1. Michael Biehn/Hicks played Reese in Terminator as did Bishop/Lance Henriksen as the assistant police chief.
2. Am I the only one thinking that maybe they're so cheap that they sent her back out hoping she isn't going to collect her back pay. 57 years is a shitload of Benjamins. They totally screwed her.
3. Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen are the only two actors to have their characters killed in the "Alien", "Terminator" and "Predator" series. .
4. Possibly the best dialogue in the movie: Hudson, "Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?"
Vasquez, : "No have you?"🤣
5. Much of Bill Paxton's dialogue was ad-lib. RIP Bill😇 He was Chet in "Weird Science"
6. IRL Paul Riser's mom during a preview viewing actually stood up and cheered when his character Burke got his.
7. Carrie Henn/Newt after this movie her nickname became SCREAM.
8. Mom VS Mom. Don't piss off momma🤬🤬

Do they ever mention the terms "facehugger" and "chestburster" in these movies? Because i dont remember them ever actually saying it in the first film but the guys called it by its name when it first appeared.

I always saw this format pop up but never really looked at it. I sat I bet over the year(s) at least a dozen suggested vids. Now I finally clicked on one, intrigued - and I don't regret it 😀
Perhaps there is something magical or special about this by looking at reactions from people who don't really have the same popcultural backgrounds you'd expect from a western audience so it all seems genuine. It's IDK like they're in a candy store as kids, if that makes sense.

I think that maybe Killer Klowns From Outer Space might be a bit much so how about Mars Attacks from 1996 starring Jack Nicholson and Peirce Brosnan, a whole cast huge stars. Pierce was James Bond, they should check out a 007 flick, maybe not him, Roger Moore or Sean Connery as Bond.

One of the best movies ever!! Is great that you watch this sequel 💪
One part about this movie that didn't make sense is why would they proceed down below to where all the "townspeople's" transponders were, even after they had to collect ammo magazines from everyone? Why didn't Ripley say something about it being suicide for them to continue down below, without them being armed? They should've immediately withdrew, and came up with a different plan. Set up defensive positions somewhere else and wait for the aliens to come to you, which they would've come inevitably. They could've lured them outside where they could utilize the weapons on both the flying transport with its missiles and the ground transport which had a cannon on top.

If everyone did what was smart and logical in movies, it could make for a pretty boring watch. 🤔

The face-huggers come from eggs, then they found all those colonists living there and implanted the big aliens inside them
And then newt and “game over” guy drown (horrifically) in their cryosleep at the VERY start of alien 3. So I count this one as the final canon in the alien universe
