It's been almost a year and a half since I last updated Arcane Academy, so with that everyone welcome back Fendal; a channel favourite. With the final battle on the horizon and the rainy season upon us, kick back and relax as our sweet Arrogant mage keeps you warm and wait out the storm.

Here I am again, Hollow with his binaural mic doing roleplays, sometimes some anime stuff. As a creator I try to avoid the typical boyfriend roleplays and instead focus on fantasy stories revolving around personal attention. My goal is to develop my voice acting abilities through my audios, while comforting the listener and taking them on an adventure through words of big characters, tsunderes, and a variety of other reimagined tropes. I see my work less as "Roleplays" and more as acting.

fendal admitting he was jealous of august? fendal realising he destroyed his entire life for the listener without a second thought? the listener keeping the tarot deck??? i am *living* for this audio, oh my god, this is even better than the last fendal audio (and i absolutely adored that!)
edit: not saying i'm screeching "kiss you fools!" but uh. i absolutely am. these two are some of my favourite characters on this whole channel and fendal's character arc has been a delight to see
I honestly love the way Hollow portrays his characters. I didn't like Fendal at first and I liked August but here we are and I live Fendal so much! I also really like Niles from the Knights of Dusk series

After ten thousand years, Fendal proves why Arcane Academy is a staple of this channel. Like damn, we wish Draco Malfoy got this kind of character development. I’m sure if we ever make it to Honeywood, this video will be even more devastating in hindsight.

That three of swords better mean that the Listener ends up choosing Fendel and August dies of a broken heart. Fendel is just akdrblzkbdlsjwn. I love him so much! He’s my favorite right after Jackal.

**Critical Role campaign 2 flashbacks.....**
Kudos to not falling into the mistake *MOST* people, INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL WRITERS!, make when using Tarot in their stories: that the Death card means, well DEATH, and is a "bad omen". Anyone who knows anything about Tarot and does the bare minimum amount of research will tell you that Death means "renewal" or "rebirth" or "changes" in Tarot. It's one of my biggest pet peeves whenever people use the Tarot Death card as a sign of impending doom so I'm happy you didn't. You're already better than the vast majority of professionally paid writers in Hollywood!
Also I swear to the Crimson One if you kill off Fendal I'm going to be so angry! 😭😭😭

Man, I started listening to this series right before quarantine hit and it's very nice to come back and find another part after quarantine has finished.

They're so cute and snarky and Fendal is such an adorable boy that changed from a character that I absolutely despised. He's so sweet now and I'm absolutely terrified. YOU CAN'T KEEP PLANTING ALL THESE DEATH FLAGS! HOLLOW! HOLLOW YOU KILLED ORVYR! YOU CAN'T TAKE FENDAL TOO! ohhhh my godddds i am LOSING MY MIND... i missed fendal so much!! the story prevails! i think this is my favorite segment he's ever appeared in, and that is saying something, as all of arcane academy is so top notch. the relationship development between these two makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, and i'm so stoked to see what awaits them in their quest. (just kiss already!!) thank you for reminding me why fendal is one of my absolute favorite boys on the channel

i saved this all day as a treat and i’m so glad i did! this is the first series i ever listened to, and all the characters in it - especially fendal - have maintained a special place in my heart. i’m so glad to see this sweet episode before the epic showdown! but i have to admit that i’m terrified for him! based on what i’ve heard in the server, the finale will end in heartbreak for someone. i hope the odds turn out in fendal’s favor, even if it comes at the expense of the listener. fantastic job, as always! i’m feeling rather emotional 😭❤️

I've been thinking about a certain scenario
If I recall correctly (THATS IF I DO), in the last video we got of this series Fendal discussed the urgency of the situation. That we needed to succeeded no matter what, even if it meant one of us was injured and/or killed in battle; that we would need to leave the other behind in order to stop August.
Along with this, the tarot card reading explained to us that victory was ahead but at a possible cost..and a heartbreak.
THIS REALLY IMPLIES THAT IN BATTLE, ONE OF US WILL BE INJURED OR EVEN KILLED
And this poses the question: If August's plan is to open the realm of the deceased to the living in order to see the loved ones we've lost, would we be willing to go along with it? Just to see the other again?

I've been going through catching up on the channel after a few months of taking a break, and I am glad this is getting an update too! I legit screamed (scared my ferret and probably neighbors) when I saw this pop up on my dash.
No matter how infrequent I get with interacting with Sleep Gang, it will always be my family. I will also never stop gushing, fangirling, and promoting Hollow's talent to any ear that allows me.
