My classic Porsche 911 Targa G50 is back! Check out your next used car BEFORE you buy, with Car Vertical: www.carvertical.com/gb/landing/v3?a=tge&b=38b26e3a&voucher=tge
I am sure others will know better than me however, when I owned an '87 Supersport I was always led to believe the chin spoiler and larger whale tail were matched aerodynamically. Having one without the other could upset higher speed handling. Especially when under the magical 1/4 tank fuel level.
Tom,, the stereo should have a separate live fuse fitted ti prevent the actual head unit been damaged ? who ever fitted the head unit didn't do it properly ? Have they checked the back of the head unit to see if there's a fuse blown ?? There should be a separate fuse carrier near the wire plugs. ..
Great video and Black targa ! Just a note on the Black Targa, back when your Targa was new they actually issued a bulletin that the Carrera tail should not be installed or added to cars unless a front spoiler was also added. The aero balance is noticeably upset at higher speeds otherwise.
Christ! I’ve got the front spoiler to fit but still haven’t. Haven’t driven the thing much anyway. Has been for a full restoration series since this video which is on my channel too.
That Generation of Targa was the car to have when I was younger. There was a short lived husband and wife British detective series in the late seventies, The Wilde Alliance, that had ones of these in it along with the then very trendy TR7, fantastic car!
Looks like a safari 911 jacked up that high to lower the suspension is easy no parts needed and does not affect the ride quality but improves the look of the car
996 GT3 yes please, cannot quite stretch at mo to £60 grand but if I could I would. Hopefully U.K electric prices drop in 2 years. That white super sport looked amazing also. Love the giant whale tail in yr car and looks sparkling.
It’s back! What a incredible car, Rindt have done a incredible job. It looks absolutely beautiful! The targa is a incredible car and it’s so nice to see it back!
.... Fantastic and beyond 'cash' . The 912, Classic 911 Targa, 996 Carrera 4S are all epic. This is so interesting to watch and all of the journey's from all of them being bought on a whim to then being totally overhauled just demonstrates how they must have got under your skin. I must say also that the new green / black Turbo is such a fine looking machine and more features with that car would be great to see also. Drive to Europe with your brother in support following in his new Defender would be cool. 'Tango and Cash' .... hehehe
Love the Targa, that car needs to be exempt from the UA-cam effect (changes and churn). Supersport was lovely, If it was blue I’d be chewing through my nails
What an awesome place, love the videos from there! Your Targa is my favourite car in your stable. Currently trying to convince the missus to allow me a 996. Have had Boxsters before as I tried to work up to a 911. Not quite got there yet!!!
Could have swore I saw you in a champagne coloured Porsche around Banbury last week. If not you have a doppelgänger. You need to stop tempting me with a classic Porsche
Absolutely incredible video TGE keep up the fantastic work the the Porsche Targa that is incredible how have you been doing it’s mudball classic coming back for this year? Keep winning TGE TV
@@TGE Hey thanks for answering my question!! Well done mate you got nice charisma. I instantly fell in love with your targa and the red 912. Having two kids and being an absolute tool hinders me though - That 912 though, wow it's so beautiful

Please keep buying classic Porsches and document in detail the rejuvenation process. It's great to watch and learn!

That is a beauty. Congrats on the refurb, she's a keeper!

Don’t think there’s another UA-camr with better taste in cars!!
Nor do I. But I’m biased 😂
Love love love this car, mate. To be clear, I mean all the cars you showed us
Looks like a safari 911 jacked up that high to lower the suspension is easy no parts needed and does not affect the ride quality but improves the look of the car
I’ll look into that. Lots of speed bumps in London and adding the chin so might not bother
Yes it's back!! Missed this one 👋
Tom , just watched this and if and I say if it was mine , yellow fog lamps look fantastic 👌 in my opinion. Darren

Can’t beat an olive green targa 👌🏼
I'm a simple man. I see a classic 911 in the thumbnail. I click.
Just wondering, how do you feel about the space in the back seats? Do you think it could possibly fit a golf bag?
I think so!

peeeeerfect farmhouse bus
unreal car. lovely to see it brought back to its former glory
That stance is strange? Needs to be lowered at least an inch at each corner, maybe more.
Nah it’s fine
Classy.
Love these classic Porsches. And the walk around that place is amazing. You’re silly if you ever get rid of this.
Excellent
So so glad to see the car completed and your excitement only made it even better..

Congrats Tom the 911 targa is looking beautiful! That place is heaven on earth for 911 lovers...
beautiful example, wonderful collection Tom, great vids. thanks for sharing.
Great video! So much better than just churning out all new stuff deliveries. You’re actually knowledgeable about air cooled Porsches👌🏻
Love to see British companies like this turning out top notch work, makes me proud, Brilliant walkaround video Tom!! 🔧⚙🔨
A 15min vid and only 2m30s of the targa…
As my audience have seen at least 10-15 videos of the targa before, I thought I’d show them around somewhere I love and find interesting.
😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍

Tom, your Targa looks amazing. Well done for sticking with it. Well done Rindt. It will look amazing next to your Deep Olive Met Turbo S.
Does youtubers really make So much money they can buy porches?
I make nothing compared to the big boys and yes. It pays for my cars. Adverts mainly. Fun!
@@TGE Hey thanks for answering my question!! Well done mate you got nice charisma. I instantly fell in love with your targa and the red 912. Having two kids and being an absolute tool hinders me though - That 912 though, wow it's so beautiful
I'm a bit mad that this old Porsches do not get the views they deserve🥲
