Chronos phase 2 is in 25/8 time, which aside from being completely insane is also one more hour than in a day/one more day than in a week. He's literally outside of time which is WILD
"What time signature would you like for your theme, Chronos?" "Fool, my signature *is* Time. I shall have all of them, and you shall thank me for the privilege."
What's extra fun about I'm Gonna Claw Out Your Eyes (and Coral Crown) is that it's diegetic. Scylla and the Sirens are playing these tracks in the game's universe when you fight them. Scylla on vocals, Roxy on drums, Jetty on bass. They share a health bar and you can knock out individual sirens from the fight. And what's extra extra fun is that when you knock out a siren, her respective audio track also drops out because in the game's universe she's no longer able to play.
Essentially, the main character Melinoe not only beats this boss and her band in a fight, she also disses their music. So the boss (Scylla) wrote a whole diss track for Melinoe out of pure spite bc she’s such a hater lmao
Hades II early access just got a huge update too, with new, AMAZING, live-recorded tracks, of which the three; Olympus Aflame, Mountain of the Gods and Wrath of the Heavens are absolutely amazing.
Darren Korb gave us a diss track for Hades 2 ost, what an absolute legend 😂 I absolutely cannot wait for you to dive into Hades 2, I am very confident you're going to have an amazing time. While playing it now would have been appropriate for spooky season (even more than the original game!) I definitely understand if you end up wanting to wait for the game to be completed.
Can’t wait for the inevitable Coral Crown reaction lol, it’s the other Scylla song and I actually prefer it over I am gonna claw, from both a musical perspective and by how much I just enjoy listening to it. It’s somehow even catchier.
Oh Hades 2 feels like a complete evolution with everything Supergiant has learned. It is my game of the year for whenever it releases for real. Its so fun to play and have things change and evolve as you play in early access
Maybe this is just me and my impression of the game, but the way the vibe of the Phase 2 theme of the final boss is different between Hades and Hades II is also very representative of how it felt to fight them, gameplay wise. Phase 2 Dad is frantic and intense and _personal._ Phase 2 Chronos is just _scary,_ man. Not gonna spoil but it's very tense and I feel like I have to play much more carefully.
The game already has a lot of content, so if u would play it any time soon you would have a lot to do, and damn, the soundtrack and the game are awesome as always
If you’re looking for more Hades 2 tracks to listen to, here are some ideas: Sightless shepherd is an absolute must Crossed flames is great (try to follow along with the drums in the second half) Sprigs of sorrow is a fantastic Halloween-sounding song The Risen Fleet is amazing They just added a new area with two great tracks (Olympus Aflame and Wrath of the Heavens) which are both great They plan to add another area early next year which will definitely have more awesome music
the electronic sound in "titan of time" probably represents chronos's end goal: some spoilers ahead....... his goal is to take over the world and advance mortals into a golden age, like they had when he ruled before. ie, he wants to move history forward. of course, that necessitates the death of every god.
Scylla really, REALLY doesn't like the MC. Claw Out Your Eyes is her *second* theme, initially when you encounter her you fight her to the tune of Coral Crown.
oh so in the second biome of the underground, you start hearing from the distance one of two alluring siren songs: song of the sirens, or song of the deep. they get clearer the further you descend. when you meet the boss, it turns out Scylla and two sirens have a metal band and they start performing a much more aggressive song: song of the sirens turns into coral crown, song of the deep turns into I an gonna claw. I'd like to think the first song is revealed to be the second song when you're close enough: sounds alluring from afar but deadly from up close like the sirens themselves. anyway that's why it would've been much better IMO to listen to such of the deep before this, and if you can do it later, listen to the song of the sirens and coral crown back to back.
Normally, at least in greek that is, Scylla is pronounced as "Skilla". Yup. No idea how they change it in different cultures and languages though. But that's how you say it in original language.
*SPOILERS* 'I Am Gonna Claw' is the boss theme of a glam band 'Scylla and the Sirens'. It is a three-woman band with a vocal, drum, and a guitar. The genius thing about the music is, as you take down the boss, the corresponding part of the music gets cut out. For example, if you take out the drummer, the music plays without the drums. At the first encounter of this battle they actually sing a song called 'Coral Crown', and after the first time you beat them and encounter the boss again, they play this 'I Am Gonna Claw', which basically a fierce diss song about you. After that, whenever you encounter the boss, one of the two songs will randomly play.

well eventually the days of the could be that
Oh my hod i just realized that its like that to throw off you timing with attacks and dodges

With the exception of Scylla who gets the special treatment that she gets muffled instead as she retreats into her shell but keeps singing
Let's just say sea creatures are *REALLY* salty...

Can't wait for the Sightless Shepherd
So I Am Gonna Claw is a diss track from the second boss, Skylla and the Sirens, directed at the player.
even the youtube url knows to give scylla the respect of the ocean lol
Almost has buoy in it as well! Very nautical url
Damn! You're right, good catch!
@@zoltanbadari2607 Heh, a deadly catch.

28:35 About that, they actually flipped it! Zagreus had red right eye and green left eye, while she has green right eye and red left eye.

Coral Crown is also great
The section at 15:03 was legit stuck in my head for like 2 weeks after I heard it the first time. Such an amazing track.
Love how he caught the last bit of Titan of Time being the defeat section! That's really nice
Can't wait for the sequel to be 100% finished and polished. Gotta have more patience !!
Will be worth it !
It's not finished but it is insanely polished already. The game is more polished than most released titles xD
@@Arkayjiya Yup I am aware, I love Supergiant games, yet I still want the entire completed thing.
@@kobarsos82 Fair enough! It's a great game and I can't wait to get the end of the story either, when the full release rolls out.
The best part of Scylla and the Sirens is that their music is diegetic, so as you take out Roxy, Jetty or Scylla, their part of the music cuts out.
For context, this is sung by a band of Siren once you defeat them. This is essentially their diss track.
This one is great, because she intros the song title and it's literally what it says on the tin. Scylla is a gr8 Boss. Annoying, but gr8 lol
Eternal Longing and The Risen Fleet are my favorite songs in this game. And, of course, Coral Crown.

Funnily enough, Scylla has C pronounced as K (skilla). It is how it was in Greek, and the confusion came after it got transcribed into Latin.
The game already has a lot of content, so if u would play it any time soon you would have a lot to do, and damn, the soundtrack and the game are awesome as always
Hope Coral Crown will be a reaction soon
I can't wait for you to stream Hades 2, or should I say I hope you stream it! :D
you NEED to react to Sightless Shepard from Hades 2, it is absolutely incredible.

Wasn't sure if you were going yo like the first song, glad you did though for sure
Yes, Jesse, YES, play Hades II 😊
Should check out the metal collab Cult of the Lamb did, just dropped a whole new album and it's wild
The final boss REALLY loves his clock motifs. To the point where when he throws his weapon as an attack he only throws it "clockwise."
