just a thought mate, i would consider making some rubber isolaors to go under those tabs. good to keep the different metals separated and it might stop it rattling too...
With all that mucking around, it would have been easer to replace the original fuel thank with the new alloy one that’s available, unless your going to make it a rally car
I know what you mean, but. Replacing the Fuel Tank would necessitate the Exhaust ( complete) dropping the axle, removing the n/s Radius arm as well as the anti-roll bar on the n/ s. Take care. Chris Robinson
@@chrisrobinson61I took mine out the drivers side, but mine is a 2ltr so did not have to touch the exhaust, also yes dropped the rear axis easy bit, leace passengers side shock and the arms holding the axial is place on passengers side, but remove all drivers side parts and disconnect the brake line, leave the drive shaft attached, just jack it as high as u can will help
sorry - too obscure obviously! 😁 I was wondering about your luggage capacity - you'll have to turn them inside out if you are staying over anywhere..🤭
Nice looking bit of kit Chris, wish I was rich like you! 🤣

Good point. I was thinking about that.
Take care.
