My brother would always but on a album and only listen to 2 or 3 songs and skip tracks and it would drive me insane haha I always put on a album and listen tje whole way through.. that's just me tho I'm a drummer so I like hearing the good and bad on all the albums... it's like when you watch a movie you dont just watch the good scenes and call it a day ya know haha

1:36 when he says "flowing through", I get immense chills everywhere. Chino's the only vocalist I've heard that can do that everytime I hear his voice.

I just love how different the guitars sound in this song. There isn't any heavy, crushing riffs, which I love, but it's just two lead lines interplaying with each other. They compliment each other so well, it's ridiculous.

@Carter For me it does. Koi no Yokan was the first Deftones album I ever listened to back in 2012. It holds a special place in my heart. Since than they’ve been my favorite band. I never get tired of them.

Its been 10 years
I remember being so hyped for this album back in 2012. When it came out, I would listen to it from start to finish everyday as a sophomore in high school. It reminds me of my brother and a time in my life when things weren’t stressful. I always find myself coming back to this record and falling in love all over again. It’s strange to me seeing how popular Deftones has gotten recently as they’ve always been underrated, however, I wish nothing but the best for this group. My favorite band always. Hope you’re all having a great night.
I wish I could meet n hang out with fellow Deftones fans I'm so into them it's insane haha it's all that's on my playlist, the tones, team sleep crosses and palms all day everyday!

This is certainly one of my pers. favs on this record, and I've always felt this song is about a person's love, for another person. May it be Chi, a lover, etc. It's more metaphoric than earlier songs, and very powerful in lyrics and imagery.

I agree with you. I would listen to the whole CD and which ever song caught my ear, that would be the song I wad play until I liked it so much. This song was maybe the 5th song I would play on repeat while I slept at night. At 00:39 it sounds kinda of Haunting like.

Tool and deftones are my two favorite bands. if I had 25 minutes to pick 2 songs to listen to I'd pick Beware the Water and Rosetta stoned. But ultimately I love both their music and can't put one above the other. but two of the most underrated and best bands I can agree with.

Man I connect to this song so much right now. A close friend of mine is going through some serious health problems and he is in a coma. I keep replaying this track to recount the good memories from the past I've experienced with my friend and pray he'll pull through 😢🙏

2014. I spent 3 months working in shifts. a lot of good stuff was happening at the time in my life, but i always remember. I left the factory at 10 pm and drove down to Faro from São Braz de Alportel, mid June, radio blasting Koi No Yokan through the night. Good times. Thanks Deftones. You guys have been with me for almost 20 years.

Everyone has their own favourite song, and I can understand that you like those songs because they're really are awesome. The thing I like about this song is the lyrics and the calmness of the song, and also because I tend to never tire of the calmer songs :)
