Once again I can’t believe I don’t have one kamp knife!!!!!!! I’m always chasing knives so now I have to add that to the collection!!!!!! I do like the orange one it is sweet!!!!!!! Thanks Tobias
Those workman's series by Marbles are pretty cool. Looks like I need to start looking in my SMKW catalog more closely. Thanks again for another informative video.
There isn't a lot of Marbles folders available in the UK. The 2 I have are good if a little rough on the fit and finish. Really liked the Electrician/Trapper.
I like the Marbles electrician knife, pity they are no longer available. I had an odd eyed white cat a few years back, he was totally deaf, now have a white female with two blue eyes but thankfully no deafness. Most of the British Scouts I knew never had a specific scout knife, back then most had the standard British army or navy issue knives they either got from their dad or bought surplus.
I like the look of the knifes my grandfather had one similar did not say boy scouts he got me a Victorinox climber when I was a teenager in 1991 I have sensory built and I've made it a plus version I'm happy with it I have a couple of nice but I seem to keep going back to my Swiss army I like the pen feature and other straight pen cork screwdriver
I just got the Marble's Workman electrician in black g-10, like yours. I can't wait to get it. I just saw your review on it, I plan on doing one as well in a few weeks. Thanks for the review! Be well!
Do you mean like the TL29 and related knives? If you do than I will have to tell you I also like them. Edit just got to that part of the video, the answer is that it isn't quite like the TL29, I am not sure about this knife seems fairly practical if nothing else.
Pretty close. The 10th Mountain knife was a little more beefy and had a clevis (Bale). Some also had a second pen blade instead of a awl. But this is direct decedent, not doubt about it.
I really enjoyed this video! Of course I like all the knives but the orange G10 scout knife and the trapper/electrician? Super cool! Can the electrician's trapper still be had anywhere? Thanks!
Don't like the Marbles blade etch.. yuck ☹️ would like the clevis too.. well really, boy oh boy I wish smkw (or anyone) would offer carbon steel models of these.. granted stainless is probably a better choice for a actual scout today but for us who grew up in a time when knives were made of carbon steel ( most likely 1095) and would like a second chance to own one!!! (and not lost it during our childhood) Ahhh.. I suppose it would be to small of a niche market though?? Well anyway I'll keep wishing.. btw glad kitty didn't end up in gunny sack lake... 😜
I think all of the different camp/scout knives should be put out in the Rough Ryder Classic Carbon Series. To me that is a no brainer. What could be more classic than scout knives?
@@KnifeChatswithTobias exactly... My troop (Cubs) got one of the last carbon knives offered.. I purchased everyone of their first knives (with parents permission) they are collectors of tomorrow.. I had one left over for me.😊. oh geez the memories... These are true keepsake items.. my boys paraded on 9/12 (the day after 911 (with flags and full uniform) the small town of Granite Falls Washington closed down the street and provided police in less then 24 hours. it was amazing.. more than half the city showed up for a cub scout parade... God bless! And my family is Hindu so thats amazing.. 😉
Never gets old, eye candy, thanks for the chat
Ilike marbles knives.THey have been supplying American sportsman for over 120 years now.Have bought several of their products.
Once again I can’t believe I don’t have one kamp knife!!!!!!! I’m always chasing knives so now I have to add that to the collection!!!!!! I do like the orange one it is sweet!!!!!!! Thanks Tobias
I like the rough ryder a little better than the others, but they all look neat. Thanks for showing these.
I also liked the R R a little bit better!

Glad you like them! They'll be a little difficult to find these days.
An interesting pattern that takes me back to my youth!
It a cool knife
Really like the look of the electrican's Trapper! Thanks for sharing Tobias!!
It does have good lines and the screwdriver is more functional that that of a normal electrician. Thanks for watching.
Like that electricians trapper, nice long main blade and useful tools.
Very interesting. Thank you.

By my time in scouts the stereotypical scout knife had fallen out of popularity at least in my area.
Great review ! Thanks

Cool. Looking forward to your thoughts on the knife!
I really like the electricians trapper.

Pretty nice camp knife, :) 😎 👍
Thanks, buddy!
Check out the Boker 150th Anniversary Camp knife. The exact same model has been in production since 1869. It is a must for every collector.
That Boker is not at all cheap! Great knife but a tab over priced. I'm having a hard time justifying that purchase.
I bought the trapper version of this knife and the fit and finish is so bad i wont buy another marble knife. Its truly a nail breaker.
Tobias the orange G 10 is a great looking knife will have to look into getting one
It is pretty cool. It might be a little tricky to find one now, but ti is worth the hunt.
Great review!
When ever i hear your cat i think its mine at my window!..an other great vidio!
Drat. Now I am craving a camp pocketknife...
Welcome to the club. I'm always craving another camp pocket knife.
Are the bone versions typically heavy? SMKW does not list the weight of the jigged bone version. Either way, looks intriguing.
Did you say knife cats at the end of the video?
Not sure. I know she was annoying me to no end during this shooting. Hopped up on the table twice!
Guess you already covered my question.
The five blade was basically the exact same knife issued to the 10th Mountain Division wasn’t it?
Pretty close. The 10th Mountain knife was a little more beefy and had a clevis (Bale). Some also had a second pen blade instead of a awl. But this is direct decedent, not doubt about it.
Have you ever seen the Marbles large genuine ram horn toothpick at SMKW?
I actually own one in the collection and It's also one of the knives I routinely use for giveaways. I really like it.
👍👍🤠🤠
I really enjoyed this video! Of course I like all the knives but the orange G10 scout knife and the trapper/electrician? Super cool! Can the electrician's trapper still be had anywhere? Thanks!
Quite a few of the electrician trappers are on eBay at very reasonable prices (under $20, shipped)!
On these larger knives would you carry them in your pocket or a belt knife sheath?
I'm okay with these in a pocket.Either one is less bulky than my keys or wallet.
Are you familiar with the CAMILLUS C4 it has a bail and a Phillips screwdriver
Yes, but unfortunately I do not own one yet.

Make sure the cat’s food bowl is full before filming. The bowl was probably only 3/4 full.
Probably right. And I probably needed to clean the litter box!
FYI, my dogs didn’t enjoy this video as much as I did.
LOL
