Fantastic video. I always kind of avoided s all together. I have a Question about 03:55 - if there is a data layer push already implemented inside the iFrame and You can't access code how do you go from there?
Hi Julian, can we use the same Google Tag Manager Id for both Parent website and iFrame? And what things we need to consider if we use the same GTM on both.
If i need to send only custom clicks from an GTM container without using the general GA4 tag (to avoid duplicate data), why not send custom click event directly to GA4?
That was a fantastic video - very useful. Would this work to capture User Provided Data (thinking email here) too for Enhanced Conversions for Google Ads?
Thank you for an excellent video!!!!! This solved my problem of tracking clicks inside of a calendar in gohighlevel. I know see the click in my analytics debug! How can I create an event for this to send to G ads? I created a new event with parameter "click_text" = "Schedule Your Free Quote" (my button text) and parameter page_location = my "exact url". Any idea what I am missing to create this event/key event? Regardless this video is fantastic!!!! Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for the video. I have put in the a custom event, test it in the preview mode, worked and I published. Then in the parent frame when I click in the nothing appears (I should expect to appear in my case what in your case is "outbound clicks"), could you know what is the problem? I would appreciate it if we could check it to review. Thanks a lot! Have a nice day
I just followed everything on the video but the postMessage sent by the child through GA4 tag doesn't work on the parent page, I tried sending a postmessage directly using javascript code which works but when I tried using GA4 tag to send (button click) the postMessage it doesn't work. Please advise.
Why can't we just use 2 GA4 Tag? 1 for the Parent site and 1 for the iFrame content? It would fit my needs to send the data from within the iFrame to a specific Analytics property that is different from the Parent page. All the the events work fine in testing, but nothing is sent through to Analytics. Any idea why it's not feasible?
Can't seem to track with the Click Text, instead I only manage to surpass the preview/text situation with the "All Clicks" setting. And thus, I cannot implement the code you provide from github. Any clues?

Hi, If we don't have access to the 's code, would it be possible to add the GTM container script through the DOM?
no, impossible. GTM cannot see the in the first place
