I have the same year and model and I have to say is that it was best description video I have seen. The steps were easy to follow and I was able to get everything done within 30 to 45 minutes without any issues....Great job....I hope you put one more videos how to fix things on the Durango....

Daughter has this same engine, 85K miles, accessory belt broke while driving, she immediately got temp light and battery light, pulled over and realized the damage. Wrecker took it to her nearby Firestone. They charged $120 for a diagnosis and called her and told her she'd need that belt of course, but also the timing belt and while they were in there, would she like to replace the water pump. She isn't a mechanic of course, she said yes and picked up the Durango 3 days later with a bill for over $1350. I question WHY the timing belt needed replacing...and why they even needed to get in there when it was just the serpentine accessory belt?

Hey you should Invest in a vacuum fill for the coolant. Best tool. Takes literally 3 mins to fill with no air in system. And don’t buy that universal cone one it’s garbage. Get the screw on type I have a Mac one it’s awesome.

What's the funnel tool you're using? I don't see a link to that.

People always say that turning the A/C to the hottest setting while it's warming up is stupid because the coolant supposedly flows through the heater core all the time. I do it anyways because it lets you know if the coolant is getting hot.

heater core diverter valve is why you want to turn the heater on to it's highest setting.

Excuse me what is the optimum working temperature of that motor, I have a problem the temperature is not stable and I changed the water pump and thermostat, also the plug, and returns the water to the tank, which may be.

fily nv I believe this one had a code for P0128 which is temperature out of range. But this is a common issue for overheating.
