I bought it recently. It has backlight bleeding issues at multiple places which ruins the movie experience if you watch it at night. I'm trying to replace it with a new unit. You won't notice it if you watch it in showroom as there are so many lights are on. It's very visible if you turn off the lights.
My TV is also having the same backlight bleeding issue. I contacted VS for replacement. It seems the quality control is not good at least for this model. It's not normal but most of us don't even have knowledge of backlight bleeding issues so most don't care. Ask for replacement.
Both are good I saw it on reliance digital but I love lg qned 83 more attractive But I don't like web OS coz I like to use third party Google application for side loading so that I can watch free content which is available on Google OS only. So I would choose sony over lg plus sony is more capable of 4k upscaling. Majority of the content on ott are 1080 which looks good on Sony.
If you don't like doing R&D kind of things and just love watching TV as it is I would suggest go with LG. Please visit reliance or croma and compare what suits your needs.
I went today to buy Sony BRavia 3 65 inch but when I saw QNED83 I was surprised. As per me - Sony produces over saturated colors (Even in Cinema mode). - Sony's sound quality is better and much louder. - I could clearly see the difference on the faces (UA-cam videos). Sony felt like a screen effect is applied on it. - Lg produces much better colors. - Lg's FILMMAKER mode literally blew my mind. I mean I was literally shocked to see the true colors. (Same youtube video) - Lg's sound quality is good but not better than Sony, also its 50% less lounder then sony. I asked the sales person to play same youtube videos, movie clips on both TV's. My Verdict - Lg was clear winner (produces much clear,sharp and true colors then Sony), but I'm stilling doing more research tonight so I that I can finalize one and buy tomorrow.
LG qned 88T is new 2024 model with upgraded processor... Bit still Reliance and chroma is selling 83 model..why do we buy old model then? Can some one share experiance with qned 88T?

Just compared both tvs in store, audio on Sony is better and display also good. But LG has little more in terms of detailing like skin tone, contrast. I’m confused which one to buy. Sony is much cheaper than lg model.

Just bought qned83 65 inches. Until the last moment i was sure about sony x82l but when i saw the picture quality of this tv,i changed my decision.

Lg is much brighter than Sony X82L but i have noticed sony is more clear and showing the realistic colour

Qned81 doesn't support Dolby vision
81 is a downgrade and honestly it’s just 3k less so I don’t see a reason to not go with 83.
Is dolby vision considerable option or just a marketing jargon. Does it have any practical use?
