What I like about Belgravia is the understated elegance. The buildings are stylish and timeless. The cars are expensive but not "look at me" brash. Well, apart from that awful yellow Corvette. That wasn't even a nice model. The mews are wonderful. You can almost smell the horses. The hustle and bustle of the grooms getting the carriages and horses ready for the families in the town houses.
London is my favorite city. I have a dream to live there, maybe in the future. I love to take these virtual walks, thank you so much. I am happy I found your amazing channel. Keep going on🙏😊

A very thorough exploration of the area, my only small criticism is there were no captions, as with your very thorough exploration of Soho. Now that would be the icing on the cake!
Thanks John for the feedback. I appreciate it. I must admit, residential areas can be quite tricky 😅 as most buildings captured are private homes. With Soho, there were quite a few references available to read as the history of the buildings were well documented. I added these on closed-captions (CC) / subtitles. 👍
OMG, Embassy of Germany, my Embassy, ugliest building of them all!😭😭😭 Isn't it strange, that on Eaton Square the house numbers are simply painted on the columns? I would have exspected gold plated signs 😁😁😁 Funny, the yellow Ferrari right round the corner in Eaton Terrace can also be seen on google earth.
Oh yes 👍 Camden and Soho are much livelier areas - many Londoners’ fave hotspots are found there (also mine!) 😊 🥂🎺 Belgravia is a much quieter residential area of London. Most part of this neighbourhood was developed in the 1800s and is under Conservation Area status to date, imposing restrictions on any major developments, hence the lack of colour on buildings and very little to no change on the buildings’ exteriors. 🏢 Hmm, also not sure whether winter and the partial lockdown also contributed to the monochromatic vibe. Perhaps we can revisit in the spring or summer time 😊🌸

The German Embassy is a beautifully elegant building. Like most buildings in Belgravia.
