It's a statue of Giordano Bruno, a medieval italian mathematician, philosopher, and cosmologist, who was burned at the stake by the inquisition, when he would not renounce his beliefs, particularly the one concerning the plurality of worlds - meaning that our Earth is just one planet of many in an infinite universe. He is considered to be a martyr of free thought.

The tides will turn and religion will just do it again, so sad they cant see their hypocrisy yet claimed to be more enlightedened then the ones they killed. Michael Servetus was burned at the stake for denying the trinity doctrine, yet at the last moment said: jesus eternal son of god have mercy on me. (they burned him anyway) claiming: "you shouldve said ' son of the eternal god' . So he died bc he put the verb in the wrong place.

The guys are talented, they know how to write good, well arranged songs, I will give them that. If you're into that melancholic, depressive, death/doom metal then you will definitely enjoy this. But, to me at least, it sounds like I heard this a million times before. Opeth (during the second track, "in eclipse", when the vocalist was signing "black water", I couldn't but think of Black Water Park LP by them), Paradise Lost, Anathema, Katatonia, Tiamat, they all did this kind of music before. And they all did it better in my opinion. Now again, if you're into death/doom metal with some clean vocals sprinkled in, then I highly recommend it. But if you're someone that only listens to this type of music once in a while, then there are definitely better albums out there. Just my opinion, overall quality of musicianship: 8 out of 10, originality 5 out of 10.
