No 3.3v the 220 ohm from 5v also acts as a load which drops the 5v. To a average of 3.3 ish…. Some chips will take 5v but as they are run at 3.3v on mobo its best to use 3.3
Hi, I'm getting a glitch error when reading board, it tells me check VDD pin! (+5V; DTR+RC: C=0.1 uF, R1=200-510 ohm), what could be causing this error? I made all the modifications as they are in the video
What is written on the syscon (chip number) as there a few later chips that can not be glitched. Other than that is the on the mother board or have you removed it
Ok I understand, the syscon number is A04-COL2 and the board is a SAF-003 slim model. And what are the syscon models that can be read on board?
I am reading it on board following the BWE method, lift pin 15 and solder a wire there and the other 4 wires to alternative points that are safer to work with, I did it this way because I thought it could be worked this way with all models. from syscon, but apparently from what I'm seeing it is preferable to remove it

Yes, connect the power supply to the mobo, and in that case do not connect the cable to pin 16 (EVDD) because I read that being in standby mode it was not necessary, it still gave me a glitch error when reading the syscon, Also in other tests I did not connect the power supply to the mobo but I did connect the cable to pin 16 (EVDD) and the result was the same. This board that I am working on has an error in DCT 4 and DCT 5 disabled, will this have anything to do with not being able to read the syscon on board? What do you recommend I do?
