when you carry over your social proof to a new campaign ad set is there now 2 of the same ads people are commenting on -> and you see all the additional new comments/reactions on the same ad in both adsets/campaigns moving forward? or are they now two separate ads just starting with the same social proof gathering new comments/reactions separately?
@@richiedoc7208 yep, after long time - basically you cannot duplicate campaigns which were already duplicated. In other words you cannot create a duplicate of a duplicate (= the social proof does not get carried over then). Hope that helps!
@@richiedoc7208 Did you tried? even for the first time, I tried to duplicate one copy at Ad level and I don't see social proof..This means this doesn't work? Thanks @Ali Mirza would be great if you could help clarify how it works...thanks.
Duplicating ads to retain social proof only seems to work 50% of the time for me. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone experiencing this too?
Here's what I learned from using Facebook Ads every day, and most people don't talk about. - Facebook always suggests using 3 sizes in every ad. Never do this. So don't use a seperate square, horizontal and vertical placements in the same ad. - Never use different placements in one ad. So don't for example write a different headline or use a different sized picture in an Instagram placement for example. If you do one of the things above, you will not be able to retain the social proof while duplicating ads.
Great video. However, what if I want to duplicate my campaign, ad sets and ads from one add account to another add account and want to retain the social proof/engagement on my adds? Is there a way about it? Would appreciate your reply on this. Thank you
Thank you for this information. I have a post engagement campaign with likes and comments I would like to copy that ad with the comments, and likes and change it from post engagements to conversions. Is that possible to do?
Like many people here, I duplicate it exactly this way but social proof does not get carried over to the new adset, or even when I copy the entire campaign, or advert. Either that, or it does get carried over but is sometimes hidden for me.
I tried to duplicate ads, but there is always an error. I have to recreate the ad to make it easier. I tried to duplicate my last ad, but it won't post, says i need to add the privacy policy but there is no place to put it!!!
Thank you Ali, I learned something new today!
Thank you this was helpful.
is it possible to you this tip on a instagram ad?
Does this work for Instagram also?

actually the ad stays the same.. so only 1 ad which already had some social proof. So basically we create new campaign but use the existing ad
When I duplicate my add set it also duplicates 2 adds why is this ?
After I duplicate it does not show the social proof. Can you please advise how to check the social proof is carried over successfully? Thanks, L
Did you ever figure this out?

@@leeuwerdz4622 makes sense why my social proof always fails when I duplicate because I try and use a different picture.
Is it true that you have to duplicate your page post engagement/ page likes campaigns when warming up your ad account?
This is over 2 years old. Nothing looks like this anymore.
