@@felipebotafogo7 ,Arin was officially join a7x in 2013, but he actually joined a7x in 2011 as an additional drummer replacing Portnoy. He has recorded some tracks before httk like "Not ready to die", "Carry on", and "st.james".
I grew up listening to a7x they were my childhood and early teenage years it killed me when jimmy passed especially since he left us on my birthday so there’s always a bit of sadness on that day but also a time of remembrance and nostalgia RIP jimmy the rev Sullivan❤️
Just recently discovered your channel and really digging the reactions. Your technical breakdowns of the music and production in combination with your obvious appreciation for good music of all genres is a great mix.
I find it so cool that the percussion in this song is the only song since Jimmy's death that they've made that literally sounds like Jimmy's style and sound. I played it for people who have heard it yet without telling them anything about it and their response was how the hell haven't I heard this song with The Rev playing. Then I explain it all and they're kind blown. I hope they never wore another song with his sound again. But yes very thought it and produced with Jimmy in mind. I swear I can totally envision him playing this song without even trying!
This is one of the most underrated songs in their catalog. It’s in my top 10 for sure. Have you checked out their newest album yet? First time on the channel, gonna go watch some more of your videos!
This was from the Hail To The King album. Inside was a note that read St. James is the light to So Far Aways dark and you can really feel that. This song is the last that paid hommage to Jimmy directly and you can tell it brought the guys closure. I think it's a pity they haven't played this one live yet. It would've been perfect for the Download festival.
I've requested this a couple of times before, but i'm not sure if you have seen those comments,, so one more time: Mezmer by Pinkly Smooth. It's my personal favourite Pinkly Smooth song and I think yuo'll appreciate it too!
I LOVE your channel!!! I stumbled upon it a couple of days ago & have been going through all of your videos. It is so beautiful to witness someone fall in love with the music that has covered every facet of my life. I am 43 years old, born & raised in Buffalo, NY (GO BILLS!!!)...I am just about the same age as rap/hip-hop & it takes up a major part that is the soundtrack of my life. I LOVE Nate Dogg (RiP Brotha!!) & he has a very special place in my heart as well. I would HIGHLY recommend "Never Leave Me Alone" by Nate Dogg. You will fall in love even more. Blessings to you & your family.

@@felipebotafogo7 Maybe, but it was still Arin playing and was released on Hail.

you'll love the guitar solo and the build up to it in their song "Dancing Dead"
You'll love The Rev, Synyster Gates, and Justin Sane's other project. McFly by Pinkly Smooth is a badass song.

You should really check out Avenged Sevenfold - "Dancing Dead". The guitar work by both guitarists is spectacular.
The drums were actually programmed by syn, he said in an interview he did his best to make them sound as close to jimmies style as possible
