I remember the Rakatan mind prison from the first KOTOR game. It took a few tries before I finally escaped it. Tip: The prisoner inside is bad with numbers.
@@Lawrence_Talbot---Although that would be best. It's just that some people can't help opening the box like I did eventually. And discovering the prisoner couldn't count was how I got out. Well after always picking the bottom riddle option and guessing correctly after two or three times.
@@Lawrence_Talbot Top Tier Tip : - That real wierd looking Alien guy with all nails in his head, that follows you around all the time with his two other creepy friends saying "give me the box" ... Give it to him!!

Ngl, the mind prison side quest of KOTOR was sad af, considering that Revan became the closest thing to a friend that imprisoned Rakata had in thousands and thousands of years. In fact, the part in which Revan, when he is about to be released, asks the Rakata to at least tell him his name and the creature responds that he doesn't even remember it anymore broke my heart 😢
Yeah a crash landed and stranded tribe or crew of them could have survived undisturbed for all that time and come to rejoin the galaxy at large after being found and not all murder happy
The Black Mirror series has an episode with a take on this - including the white infinity. Jon Hamm (Mad Men) stars in the episode “White Christmas,” and it is the second of three tales within the episode. It was truly, viscerally, terrifying to me, and it has affected me like very few other stories - one that comes to mind is the scene in “Kill Bill,” where Kiddo is buried alive in a pine box.
Alright, I already was enjoying this series but I really love how this episode is really showing just how unlimited the subject matter will be. That's cool.
If only the Sith Lords are willing to take the risks of losing their bodies by using the mind prisons and possessed other peoples who accidentally opened their mind prisons, then their goal of becoming immortals will be considered achieved from a certain point of view.
That was a really cool story. I hope if Disney gets their shit together, they’ll go back to the nights the old Republic or something like this and not screw it up and have content like this. I was really gripped that was awesome. Thank you.
I'm curious to know more about the rakatans and they technology more of what they have been rulers ... It is been years watching star wars content (Englisch version) of the rakatan empire tip of the iceberg
Ofcourse he wouldn't remember anything of his life. Why would he if he will live in whiteness forever and has no hope of escaping. And we are already scared of just dropping dead.
Just finished the video, not really a fan of the style horn for this topic. Still a good one, but I do hope it returns more to the lecture style and less the “conversation in a space bar” style.
I guess Sith got there idea for the Thought Bombs from these things.

Pro tip: don’t open the box

They have one on Tattoine in SWTOR.

Smuggler’s Tales; What an excellent series! Love 'em all!
With luck, we might get one on the terrifying prison on Mytos known as "Star's End" ! :)

Well... well. Fancy seeing YOU here.
Take care fan! By the way... the Dark Eldar would LOVE to play with these things.
This was excellently handled, the dialogue, the visuals, the music and the sound effects
Made the story feel even more chilling.

It’s hard to feel sorry for a Rakatan, but THAT situation calls for a TINY bit of sympathy.
I'm pretty sure he's the same Rakatan in the mind prison in the Swtor "thing that Czerka found" story arc.
Vjun would make for a great Smuggler Tales episode. Especially with Vader’s Baste Castle and Château Malreaux -The House of Madness
Still finding ways of solidifying yourselves as my favorite and the best Star Wars youtube channel, I LOVE this style. Keep it up!
I liked this format. This channel just keeps improving.
The Senate is the REAL nightmare.
Both in star wars and real life
The same could be said right here on Earth.
Sometimes I think I'd be better off in deep space!!
Yep
@@sheevpalpatine2128 Yes, my Master.
True, that is the true Mind Prison.
Coruscant under levels will be a cool place for you to go next!
That would be epic!
Imagine being so evil the galaxy itself develops biological warfate to off your species
I want to see the Rakata in future of star wars they are one of my favorite species in star wars
Yeah a crash landed and stranded tribe or crew of them could have survived undisturbed for all that time and come to rejoin the galaxy at large after being found and not all murder happy
Sorry they aren’t canon. But hey y’all get a new Rey trilogy 😂
@lawrencetalbot8346 Rakatans entered current canon during the Andor series.
Wow, what a way to kick off the day! What a bonechilling tale!
I have a recommendation for you, when you make these smugglers tales videos, put your intro at the very beginning instead of breaking up the story
Really wish yall kept this series going
These are great, keep em up

Talk about cruel and unusual punishment when it comes to Rakatans.

I still would prefer the "VR false paradise" from The Minority Report.
It would be cool as hell to see an ancient rakata escape a mind prison and be downloadrd into a different body or a clone body of a rakata
The Rakatan mind prison is a nightmare it will drive you mad.
An amazing opener holy cow.
oooh hoo hoo, I am totally writing off this bit. Don't worry, no copying in mind. Just a buyer's perspective...
So, this is where the Jedi get their "Mind Tricks" from!!
What a horrible way to go
Creepy and immersive. Loved it.
Oooooh, so that’s what I trapped mom-I mean Zasz inside
Nice audio weather effects
damn, this device is terrifying

He probably knew his body is long dead so he sacrificed his memories for eternal life and tournament
What happens if you destroy the prison? Would that release the prisoner inside?
This is an explanation that I didn't know about
This is worse than a mystery box.
That intro felt like a low-level drug deal
Lehons true name is actually Rakata Prime
Damn, I'd rather open the Lament Configuration.
TESSARECHT LABYRINTH
Cheers
Very cool episode.
Great video!
MORE!!! MORE!!! Love it!!!
I wonder what the builder's new name will be?
That was cool.
Is it vegan friendly ?
👍
Hmm… I’m not a fan of this opener style. Interesting video though.
