Larry Harris’ War Room is highly reviewed by many, including The Players’ Aid. It does take 6 players for the best experience and thus, is probably a convention game for most folk.

The Undaunted series are surely war games. Restricting the definition to “hex and counter”, CRTs, etc. is too limiting. If the goal is to introduce non-war gamers to wargaming, one should remain open to all such pathways. As discussed in previous shows, different strokes for different folks. The Undaunted series may indeed be a great way to introduce some folk to wargaming. Where one goes from there will be their journey, not ours.
