I don’t fear Scientology , because my financial situation doesn’t attract them.
LOL
They are working on providing low income loans while holding your soul as collateral. If interested comment after this one and you are in 😅
😂😂😂
😂
Well said
"Thetan" sounds like someone with a lisp saying "Satan"
Mike Tyson😂lol.
Word!
I literally thought the same exact thing, stay out of my head please.
lol that is the first thing i thought. So funny
Hahahah! 😂 So good..
" ( SATAN) The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" - ( 2 Corinthians 4:4)
Exactly ! Congrats for the mention of this particular passage of the Gospel. The inspiration of the Holy Spirit to the Apostle Paul in this passage is disconcerting, it is so enlightening and precise.
Amen

@@ra3i.alalia Mohammed was a pedo and an assassin. A man of sin. Islam is full of dangerous heresies.
What i find interesting is that Hubbard actually said, in an article, which as published, that ''the best way to make a million dollars in America is to start a religion'', and despite that, people are still influenced by him!
According to the fellow writers who knew him in the 1940s, one of his main topics of conversation was how much money you could make by starting a religion.
Yes, but. Even if we completely accept the notion that Hubbard was some kind of con, it still begs the question of the success of his con. After all, he was not the first nor will he have been the last to attempt such as con, if a con it is. In this sense, then, there is reason to have some interest in his ideas because - even if they are a con - they are a con which SPEAKS to people. And that CANNOT be a con. We can ask ourselves even if these ideas don't reflect the actual nature of the external universe and the history and entities within them, what those ideas have to say about our own personal natures. I am reminded of Immanuel Kant and his attempt to disentangle whether the world was limited into cause and effect or it was simply our minds that had that limitation.
False
Are you high?
Lol that’s badass. I mean, extremely evil but damn, credit where credit is due
“The world is a veil of tears, and that requires an explanation”.
There’s a quote.
Isaiah 25:7-8 RSV-CE
And he will destroy on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 He will swallow up death for ever, and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.
@carlosnunez4944 😊 Thank you!!! So Peterson pulled that from the Bible?! Thats cool.
@@olliefoxx7165 he does that a lot.
That observation that people with a materialistic view of the world are inclined to turn the fantasy of science fiction into a religion is spot on!
Fiction will always come from a segment of hyped reality as you perceived.
@@angelestrella35 rings true.
I've never been tempted to do that!
What amazes me he has got some of it right Hobart of course. 5% the rest is bull.👍🏻🌍
Materialistic is something that almost everyone is to some degree so it’s kind of hard to say at what point it goes this far. Like I wouldn’t say I’m materialistic but I wouldn’t mind having a new car, don’t need one but you know.
Of course it's confidential, when said out loud it sounds even more ridiculous..if thats even possible.
Scientology sounds like a really well written, two-part Star Trek The Next Generation episode.
Hubbard began as a science fiction writer.😂
@sherbear8286 fun fact Hubbard was an extreme admirer of Alistair Crowley before him, Crowley was a self proclaimed satanist who practiced Thelma and drew Lam umder influence in a dreamlike state of mind. Look up Crowley's depiction of Lam.
It's where all the alien pop culture nonsense comes from its also why it was always tied to the occult to begin with.
I disagree. It does not sound well written at all. Lol.
@@sherbear8286a terrible one at that. Lol.
@@sherbear8286he was friends with glowies, just like all the othe sci-fi writers, they were told things about the secret black budget deep space missions .. 😏🤭
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 HA HA HA HA, Scientology is a laugh a paragraph.... Without the help of SOUTH PARK.
L Ron Hubbard was a drug abusing sociopath who once said to his son in a drug fueled bender "I am satan".
Kenny disagrees. 🙄😉
Tom Cruise still won't come out of the closet.
All organized religion is a laugh
@@normanjones1296that phrase was reserved for the cowardly fools, who let the barbarians in the gates.
Dr. Peterson,
My prayers are with your wife Tammy. I come as a person with full knowledge of the the experience of cancer. I moved back home to care for my mother when she was diagnosed with a globlastoma. Cared for with my amazing father and sister, to not put her in a nursing home. We made to her last three days before she went to the hospital. Then we all took shifts staying with her, because of the Covid restrictions. But in the end we said we all needed to be by her side to comfort her. I pray for you and your family and your wife’s health. Thank you for your wonderful work.
God bless?

Imagine if Tolkein proposed that LOTR is real and people need to follow it as a religion. Same goes for Hubbard and Scientology
True! Although his works were indeed more precisely based on facts in history and mythology tho 😅 neither should any sci-fi be seen as a genuine good representation for any religion man made faith structure ..
Think of it like how Nigerian prince scams use misspelled words and improper sentence structure screen out high or mid intelligence individuals. Apply the same process to Scientology and you realize it does take special mix of individuals to progress to the point they are at.
LOTR is based on Christianity! Gandalf is basically Jesus! Sauron is Satan! Elves are Angels!
I thought Aragorn was Jesus.@@Psyc1onus
@@user-th3ll8rl7i Gandalf was resurrected!
I was hired by them to help market and promote them in the eastern Ontario region. I got out in my 2nd week once realizing what they want to use me for. I did not completely understand what they were doing since I was about 20 at the time, they left me alone and just let me leave. Mind you, I was a poor young man.
' Operating Thetan ' - it sounds like Sylvester the Cat talking about the Devil.
😂
😹🐈🐈⬛ I am dying... LOLROF... It does....
THatan with a lisp.
@guitarplayerfactorychannel that's what I thought!!! 😂
Excellent comment.
Has some similarity to Gnosticism - the idea that we are trapped here, in the materialistic prison, governed by false-gods/demiurge/archons, and stuck here unless we can connect with True God through direct divine revelation (awakening).
TOLKIEN MADE A BETTER RELIGION 😂😂😂
Dude is a narcissistic schizophrenic 😅 that's why he hates psychologists and psychiatrists so much.
Literally running from his diagnosis.
The amount of delusion is just unbelievable 🤣
Tom Cruise just left the room…..😂
Ironically, this religion kept Tom Cruise safe from the ideology that consumed the rest of Hollywood. What is worse, gender ideology or some sect that drains your wallet?
Xenu called him up for an audit ;)

Volcanoes have existed on earth almost as long as this ball of dirt has been here. My only gripe.
Of course, the Earth is just a ball of molten lava covered by thin crust. I don't know how this guy could be so badly informed.
He misspoke. The Xenu mythology has named specific volcanoes that didn't exist back then, like Mauna Loa in Hawai'i.
He said THESE volcanos. It's subtle, but it matters. Volcanos change over time and scientology myth uses specific modern volcanos that hadnt formed 76 million years ago
I was not expecting to see Jordan Peterson and Aaron Smith-Levin together, but i am pleasantly surprised 😄
The greatest trick ever played was Satan convincing humanity he wasnt real.

Scientology is crazy
Imagine if Jordan Peterson decided to drop the psychology talk and decided all of a sudden to be a rockstar.......
How can intelligent men and women get sucked into this. Money will not set you free get out now
Vanity and ego
They make you feel like you belong there and they probably validate you and make you feel like you are important at first
Wisdom and intelligence are only correlated at about .3.
That's less than the correlation between grades and IQ
Back in the day I knew some Scientologists and I dipped my toe in the water. My perception is that Scio attracts two types. The lost and lonely, who are looking for something to believe in and a group to belong to; and narcissists, equally isolated, but whose vanity is attracted to the proposition that they are super beings. In both cases, Scio validates them as someone special.
I think they just find lost people man.
Scientology sounds like a mutant form of Gnosticism.
Scientology drains your wallet
A lot of churches do
And your soul.
And your Soul.
Can say the same for Catholics
Tything was meant to feed the poor not capitalism
Why is dealing with my extraordinary existence so expensive?
The CIA takeover in the 70s ,not LRH sense then
I remember when they used to run commercials for that crackpot's book Dianetics on TV. People have all kinds of reasons for joining cults. From what I understand though this one is dying out. We can only hope.
Have you read it? I'm not a scientologist but I read the book and thought it was pretty damn cool... This is a perfect time to say "don't judge a book by its cover"... 😉😔
I can't see that it provides any real spiritual value. It really is all about submission to the cult and sucking the victims dry.
What’s so strange or fantastic about dianetics? The subject is the mind on that book not the spirit.
The perfect team to discuss this subject, thank you. Do scientologists feel ridiculous when they accept reality outside the cult?
There is much to learn from South Park.
Ron Miscavige (father of Dave Miscavige, leader of Scientology) said that Hubbard lifted his ideas from occultists William Walker Atkinson and Paul Foster Case.
We have evolved with these impressive minds and we use them to be stupid and insane.
L. Ron Hubbard was a pioneer who discovered a whole new level of mumbo-jumbo.
haha yes
Holy cow! That Hubbard was out of this world!
One wonders whether the Creator, for all His labors, left us enough "sign", that we might follow after Him. Or whether we must have recourse to endless imaginations...
But, will not the hunter take a knee when the spoor crosses stony ground? He will if he hungers. But if not, will he not turn back?
I like that. 🌻
To be fair, there were almost certainly volcanoes 76 million years ago, but I got the sentiment.
That was my gripe too lol.
Yes, but not the specific ones cited by Hubbard. In the same way Hubbard claims man evolved from clams, but clearly this is not literally so.
Not THESE volcanos. Gotta learn to listen
Laughed so hard at this
Totally credible. How did I not see it before :)
Imagine spending hundreds of thousands of dollars and years of your life only to find out it was all about a bad science fiction story!
I don't know, I think I'd watch that movie. Not Battlefield Earth, mind you, but some other sci-fi movie about Gulag World would be fairly nice.
But they can fly depending on how much you spend 😉
Scientology is such a trip 😂 I guess you can go down that route if you have enough money
That’s some weird wild stuff.
very cultish
People do realize that L. Ron Hubbard WAS a SCIENCE FICTION WRITER, right? Why would anyone join a religion that a science fiction writer created based on creatures from outer space becoming spirits in us?
My buddy saw a group of them in full wedding/ballroom attire clothes, gardening at 2 in the morning outside one of their compounds, out near Hemet CA.
Hmmm, whatever could they have been planting?!
scientology was founded on a bet. this fact alone should make every scientologist an apostate.
The fact that JP got to sit down through all that bs and still got to point out exactly what he was talking about was a wake up call to stop closing my ears as soon as I listen some stupid thing that I found useless or dumb 😊
Danke 💯
This video convinced me, I shall join the church of Scientology. Thank you Dr Peterson.
OK. NOW. WE. ARE. AWEARE. WAW. RARE AND. CURIOUS. TNKS😊
And they say Christianity is hard to swallow! This stuff is cray-cray!
Imagine how much they’ve taken from cruise lol
All I want is to watch a response shot of Jordan Peterson’s face while hearing the premise of Scientology.
Really, I need to see how he keeps a straight face through that. His micro expressions of restrain to maintain professionalism is what I would find most intriguing about what this video lacks.
😑
How horrible!
Hubbard was right about one thing: Prison Planet.
Wait, did anyone remember to let Tom Cruise out of the closet???
Tom Cruise will never leave, he is given assistants and people to do exactly what he wants when he wants no matter what. They are forced to; by the church. And they have no choice, essentially a slave as they work for only a few dollars a week.
P.S. I love you and your family Jordan!
Without its tax exemption Scientology collapses
It's always blown my mind that every single person who heard just the first few minutes of this didn't just get up and walk out.

@@rockarollawmn thanks for recommendation
Thank you for making this complex religion more understandable and digestible.
When ever i see someone with those Earpieces in their Ears. I know they are subconsciously being controlled. By forces of ?
On Dr Peterson's Star Trek reference - That episode of TNG when those 3 spirits got into Troi, Data, & O'Brien to free the rest - or the Skin of Evil episode. The moral is, Evil entities are banished to a prison planet and use posession and threats of death to get off the planet. So who ripped off whom?? Rodenberry & Berman or Hubbard was the source? We'll never know
With all of this UFO News and whatnot, wouldn't it be hilarious if zenu was real?
Welcome Thaytons!
M. Peterson, as a big "fan" ( for a lack of a better or simpler word), I noticed in your interview that you are wearing "ear buds". As someone who has studied the effects of RFs & EMFs hidden side effects, what ever they want us to believe, I lovingly recommend that you , please, switch to wired earpieces instead....Especially for long interviews....you have to take good care of that National Treasure brain of yours!...Take Care!
Fiction writer criticized traditional religion while creating his own religion.
Lafayette disliked psychiatry/psychology and had his own mastermind psychologies.
Humbleness would have greatly served Hubbard as any missing ingredient does.
I don't need Scientology because I'm a "Clear." Literally. My head is transparent, you can see my brains and all.
I was told after taking one of their lengthy tests.....that I was clear, and therefore scientology wasn't something I'd be interested in. My husband and I were there for a management business seminar, and apparently they were involved, since they came in to one of the classes to pass out the test that we were to fill out and bring back. I thought it was weird. It took me no time to answer everything, while it took my husband hours. He was told he wasn't "clear". Wanted him to sign up for all their courses, and probably, more. He told them that since I was clear, he had no need for their classes.
Good work Bompton❤
People believe the strangest things but this does take the cake.
So basically everyone is Thatanic.
You should have a dialogue with Rafael Yuste Professor of Biological Sciences at Columbia University and directs its Neurotechnology Center I guarantee you be amazed.
I have to say, making the ultimate evil guy a politician is spot on
I'm no scientologist but volcanoes definitely existed 76 million years ago... Lol
I don’t think this guy got that memo - his grasp of geology is lacking.

And to think people hear that and think to themselves, I believe that 😂

It sounds legit tho
@@timothymendoza7798get your head checked
Well, by the point people are taught this, they have already been indoctrinated for years, decades even, so they are moldable like clay and can be made to believe absolutely anything, and we have a great example of this here.
It's sad. It's evil.
They are politicians here 😂😂😂😂😂😂
What the heck is he talking about with the volcanos. Those certainly existed 76mya
Volcanos certainly existed 76 million years ago and long before then. During the Cretaceous Period, violent volcanic activity caused land masses to break and species of dinosaurs to diversify.
Apparently Hubbard was referring to specfic volcanoes that existed 76m ago
2:51 - of course volcanos 🌋 existed 76m years ago - did the Scientologists take his grasp of geology from him?
I thought this was nuts before I watched this but I now believe 😮🎉
Btw..Love you Jordan❤😇🥰
Sounds like something Tom cruise might believe...
If you’re hoping for a strange SciFi cosmology that creates a new explanation for the archetypes that appear in all religions you’ll be sorely disappointed. Most Scientologists don’t get much processing or know much of their own legends and instead spend their time raising money.
Tom cruise actually believes this..?
...hard to believe isn't it. He's not the only one either.

That's all I do is think deeply
all the artist and rebels "free spirits" go to earth.. sounds like the best possible prison to be stuck in.. screw the galactic overlords man
Tom Cruise probably doesn't like Jordan Peterson 😂
The smirk on Jordan Peterson's face when he was talking about how many science fiction books that Hubbard had written. Right there is where you can tell he knows, and everybody else should know that it's b*******.
I respect everyone’s beliefs and feel we can all learn from one another
When creating a modern religion, maybe don’t go crazier than what we already have and call all the others fake. Might rub people the wrong way.
Prison planet is beyond Scientology.
If one believes, then no common sense is necessary.
JBP interviewing Scientology member? Best crossover i’ve heard of
Could the scriptures around the world be just science fiction?
In my opinion Jordan, this is exactly what is wrong with the world, or at least one example. If some people are not centered, eyes wide open reality understanding normal people, then that's when society gets and is dangerous. Sad times with so many different beliefs.
