You know, technically since the Blue Eyes White Dragon was the monster that came from the Maiden with Eyes of Blue in ancient Egypt and High Priest Seto fell for her before using the dragon,, you aren't actually wrong about that.
No wonder Kaiba doesn't get tired of summoning it.

This theme played in my head when I remember a tournament back in my locals in the 2000s. It was the finals and it was round 3. I was down to 500 lifepoints and my opponent had a thunder monarch on the field and i had a clear field. He had nothing else in his hand and no backrow. All I had was a cyber dragon in hand, but I knew if i didnt draw something to win(it was last turn and highest lifepoints win), he would win since he had 1800 left. I top decked an exiled force. I even remember saying there was only one more card I could draw that would turn this around while everyone was there observing to see who would win. I pulled it. It was one hell of a match i still remember to this day.
To those who may not understand what I pulled here...so cyber dragon can be special summoned if your opponent controls 1 or more monsters while you control no monster. I special summoned it and then normal summoned exiled force. Exiled force can sacrifice himself(as long as he did not attack that turn) to destroy one monster on the field. I chose his monarch and then attacked him directly with cyber dragon for game.
A true "heart of the cards" moment!

Takahashi is an amazing artist. The fact that he never turned the stories behind his cart arts into anime is a tragedy. But the Yugioh anime is pretty good too.

There is a reason Atem is the most fearsome opponent there is. If you watched season 0, it shows his ferocity and intelligence far more than in the duel monsters series. Though the duel monsters series does maintain exactly why he is the King of Games. Compared to all the other protagonist, he’s the only one able to stay calm and think through every possible scenerio even when he’s at a complete disadvantage. This here actually does reflect a bit back into season 0. Where all the Yami no Games were in favor of the person on trial. It’s maintained here when Atem is at a disadvantage, and he really only punishes them if they are dishonest still. Though this theme is much better than the one from season 0 hands down. Seriously, it just sends a chill down your spine. It’s like “i’m no expert...but i’m Fcked aren’t I...?” Lol.

Yeah Yugioh Season 0 was the first Yugioh releases before it was transferred to 4kid’s. It covers the Yami no Games. When Yugi put together the millennium puzzle. In short it focuses on the shadow games and how truly dark they were.

If you slow it down to 0.75 speed you get a slightly distorted version of the music in the last episode where atems leaves for the spirit realm. That is the only scene in anime that made me cry ever.

I actually did something similar once. I was down to like 200 when I somehow drew just the card I needed, Blue Eyes White dragon. And that's all that I needed then, I activated Kaiba's skill Ultimate Dragons, revealed two of my Blue eyes and called forth Neo Blue eyes Ultimate dragon... Tribute 5 of my blue eyes fusion monsters in the extra deck and then Neo Blue eyes obliterated

The chills I get each time I listen to this masterpiece
I remember my niece needing formula and our neighbors weren't home. My mom had no money and my sister had medical issues. I had $5 for a local tournament and the prize was $100 and a buster blader tin. The finals came down and opponent was playing destiny board, he had 3k life points and swords he was on the final letter, I had 1 turn, I had black luster soldier in my hand, gaia and kuriboh on the field. I begged my deck to allow me to draw black luster ritual, I called the cards name and said I PLAY BLACK LUSTER RITUAL, TO SUMMON BLACK LUSTER SOLDIER. He was like no way and I turned the card and I said HOLY SHIT it was black luster ritual. To this day my mom still thinks I stole the formula.

Me and my friend Danny had a friendly match of Pokemon TCG a few months ago that relates to this song. I had 6 prize cards to his 1 prize card and he had a GMAX Genger (320 Health Points) in play. One more hit and the match was over. I played Falinks (90 Health Points) which had the ability Cliff Edge Formation (+60 damage- If your opponent has exactly 1 prize card remaining, this attack does 160 more damage) which requires a fighting energy and two random energies. But I only had 2 energies on my Falinks, and I knew if I didn't draw an energy, I was done for. When I drew, it was a fighting energy, and I was so relieved. I placed it on my Falinks and since all his Pokemon were Dark types, Falinks dealt double the damage (440 Damage). With confidence, I dealt a reverse sweep and won the match. That's my "Heart of The Cards" moment.
The Prize Card Rules are when one's side prize cards have been collected, the match is over.
Kazuki Takahashi tried to rescuing a Mother with Child for drowning, so he is a Hero and Genius because Yu-GI-Oh!!! I have my Cards from Kaiba and Marik Deck since 20 Years and they stay forever at me!!! Maybe if I have Kids later, then they can play with this Cards... ;)

I absolutely love this victory music! When I heard this when Yu-Gi defeated Marick / Strings the quiet one and won the Egyptian god Slifer the sky dragon, I thought this was an epic theme. Thank you so much for posting this. I'm looking for the happy ending theme when Yu-Gi defeated Maximillion Pegasus so if you could post that I'd appreciate it.

When you summon Silent Magician and completely fucking obliterate your opponent despite the fact they used 39606296296 effects on you and summoning bs earlier, and win the duel via a simple card you had face down.
