- This is my arrangement or remix of the original Sinnoh Trainer Battle Theme from Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum (DPPt). I added a lot of my own style to it (and of course some of the instruments used in Sun and Moon), so I hope you'll enjoy ;)

Sean Murray We just had Hoenn Remakes not too long ago. I don’t see them getting remakes any time soon, but Unova remakes should come soon (I’m assuming Gen 10)

Robert Poole I think it's because it's the Platinum art and sense that was technically a remake in the third version it's like doing the journey again so they are "repeating" the journey :P
I think it was because (considering this art is from Platinum) it is an enhanced version of Diamond and Pearl. So it's a repeat of Sinnoh.

me and my friends would play together in the underground in between battling, the poffin making, and -- admittedly -- the contests. Gen 4 carries so much good memories for me.

Finally! Somebody else that thought the sinnoh starters would get Z-moves, not mega evolutions!
It would make more sense for them to get Z-moves since mega evolution was put on the back burner this generation. Though, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to mega evolution either.

John Atria Well, the reason for that was because mega evolution was more xy's thing. I feel like they didn't want to drag it out all the way to sun and moon so they made Z-moves which is their thing. I feel like for remakes, the most they'll do is mega evo's but it would be nice to see some Z-moves as well :)
There's also no guarantee we'll get D/P remakes this generation either. With Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon coming out, gen 7 may be like gen 5 and we'll get D/P remakes on the Switch when gen 8 comes out. By then mega evolution might be in vogue again.

Remember when we all thought we were gonna have Sinnoh remakes inside the gen 7 bcus of the tons of Easter eggs and references to Sinnoh in the anime, manga, games, merchandice, fuck even the TCG and the I choose u movie! They revealed that Cynthia has a daughter!! ???

I know I’m late n all, but duuuuuude you are amazing at remixing themes! I remember playing Diamond for many many hours! I just wanna say that there will never be another gen 3 and 4. Having both gens on a ds lite was amazing! It connected the two generations easily! And the fact that we had all region experiences on ds was amazing! Yea we have that now with the 3ds and the virtual console, but its not really the same as back then

Now I need these remakes to happen more! Diamond and Pearl may not be the best in the series, but they got everything so right with Platinum. Expanding the Dex, Battle Frontier, Gym Leader animations, New Forms, great amount of Post game and increasing that damn Surf and Battle speed significantly! #SinnohLove
