Awesome re-creation animation and just imagine if this was reality in 1964. We all watched as kids in syndication in the 70s on Channel 5 in New York after school as I lived outside just between New York and Philadelphia and Lawrence Twp., New Jersey. Thanks and great job.
very well done! Especially the crawler transporter sequel. Too bad a scale model of the crawler transporter was not made for the pilot showing the J-2 being moved to the gantry. However the white room boarding ramp was pretty awesome. Lots of memories from the footage at Alpha Control.
nice job. this is an example of what I'd like to see a reboot of the series to look like. more of the back story and prep. How they developed the technology. The suspended animation, the robot, etc. Feels like there is a show there. The sound effects and visuals from this show are so deeply engrained in my DNA that it's still a thrill after all these years. I feel like a 10 year old again just hearing the music. The reboot currently showing is "OK" from a sci fi perspective but it's not LIS. Still, it is better than that Movie with "Joey" and that wrected reboot for broadcast tv back in the 90's. I still hope someone steps up and tries again with a reboot. I always think of the show as a story from the 1960's just set in an alternate timeline.
Well done! However, my question is if they had all these cameras onboard to see the Robinsons after they had been frozen, why couldn't they see Dr. Smith running around after he had been trapped onboard?
alpha control's biggest mistake was launching that thing without noticing it was overweight and allowing Dr Smith to sabotage it. I wonder if some controller noticed it was overweight but was overruled by officials in too much of a hurry to maintain the launch schedule like with the Challenger and Columbia disasters.
I always use to wonder where the chariot & pod had room in the Jupiter 2. Then I thought, just pretend it’s like Dr Who’s Tardis in the lower deck.bigger inside than out.etc It was less difficult that way to explain.😂
@@The_Jupiter2_Mission oh my gosh... that is really good. I have to say it's one of my favourite pics... but it's just in a thumbnail unfortunately. Kudos anyway.
one minor problem in that thumbnail the space pod which can be seen on the far left wasn't seen til season 3 and the Robinsons are in their late season 1 and 2 costumes though like the rare angle of the newly crashed j2.
@@phillipphinney206 Yes, but they pissed me off most recently! They ended S3, but the next week jumped into the middle of S2, (the crap episodes)! I should file a complaint!
The best spaceship engine noise ever! I wish my car with sound like that
With the exception of the Enterprise warp engine ramp up and down...it was classic, too.
Listen to my Subaru.

Beautiful! Great job!!!

I love it - but the J2 never seemed big enough. Always figured 3x bigger to be actually practical.
It looks like the Jupiter2 on the SaturnV crawler.
Actually, that's the first generation "Gemini 12"! You can tell by noticing that there is no lower viewport, and it's too short to have a lower deck!

Nice!
Como eu queria este tempo de volta porque o tempo de hoje tá difícil de viver e ver televisão.

Esse tempo e é sempre será
Where did you get that thumbnail ? Great pic.
I made it myself using various composites, cut outs ,images reverses and digital painting.

That is the Gemini 12
What time is lift off
John Williams old stuff.
Linda nave mas claramente desproporcional entre o que vemos externamente e o suposto espaço interno.
I wish they had lost in space on reruns
METV shows the entire seasons of Lost in Space in order Sunday mornings at 1 am PST
