A real life private pilot. License obtained in Australian National Airline College, Melbourne Australia. Landing in Zurich airport under snow and low visibility conditions!
PS: I landed this manually with just a keyboard. I am basically the best pilot in the world.

When I am landing in ILS mode the aircraft follows the beam so far then inexplicably veers to the left. Turning of the AP does not give me back control and I usually end up crashing or cancelling the game. On occasion the landing is successful. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Never happened to me ever. First of all never had an issue with the ILS veering, if any time I feel the need to take control turning off autopilot always gives me back control. Sorry but it may be a bug for you. Try searching if anyone else has the same issue. :)

or perhaps your msfs 2020 is eventually settled with hard winds coming from any side. You can change a lot of configurations according to your preference or dificultties.
