Or even just a search button in the main menu. The fact that u have to individually click on every item and there's only like 4 categories is kinda annoying
Love the video back in the Paragon days videos like this that was informative what's my favorites.1 you explained your reasonings why and did a good job with talking about the items. Very good job. Plus being on console and having to relearn the item system from what I remember of paragon this is extremely helpful to people like me I'd also like a vid similar to this about crest since it's new and have many picks
Technically has to do with scaling. So I think that is 1 mistake I did, I should of labeled at what slot I'd look into. Especially items that are stacking based. I might have to take note for new item video. The main goal was to share items that are very strong and popular currently, more then a build guide. You can definitely check out omeda city and use the method in how I find builds for characters I don't use often. I have a video on it should be in tips and tricks playlist, labeled 'favorite tool' to get a idea of build order.
@@ObeyThePapaya I've heard the term scaling being used before like "scales better into the endgame". How is this term used in this case? Meaning what? ive seen omeda city before, i will check out the vid
@@jcmc1111 things that scale well into late game are things like sky splitter. More HP the enemy gets, even just by leveling, more damage you will do. Scaling is kind of a overused term in gaming tbh because every item does scale but some items just scale better. Like combustion is only 19% magical power and raw 10 pen, pen is flat with relatively lower number for magic power scaling it doesn't 'scale' well into late game. Makes sense?
@@jcmc1111keep in mind percentages vs. +. Like the example that Papaya used, if you gain “percentage health”. As the game progresses and people gain health throughout game, so that percentage is higher as it goes on. E.g. start with 500 health- item with + 300 health gets you to 800, where 20% increased health only would get you to 600. But if you wear level 16 and 2000 health, it’d be 2300 vs. 2400.
@@jcmc1111 scaling means the stats the items help you stay relevant throughout the duration of the match. If something scales badly you will be weak and get destroyed.

Your videos really help me learn a lot, thanks, man. I feel like Golem's Gift is a sleeper item and Orb is a very nice item imo, gives all the desirable magic stats. I know you don't specialize in offlane, but what do you think about Caustica on magic bruisers like Shinbi? Also, I noticed top adc players build Tainted Rounds.
TAINTED rounds can be super good because it does convert to magic damage, so it can definitly help. id bias tainted rounds into comps where your going a CRIT based build. I see it more build into later games. You can cook with it though, and put it in the situational spot. aslong as u do have the 1st three, wich tend to be vanq>sky>demo you can add w/e after that point that meets your criteria. Caustica is really good on her, i recommend that item but im not the biggest shinbi player. may be a orb of growth>tainted scep>caustica>megacosm. Her mana cost was big pre patch.
@@ObeyThePapaya I see Drongo mainly with Tainted Rounds, makes more sense for him I guess. Regarding Shinbi, how come Megacosm so late and Caustica so early?
This video is old since new patch changed everything, I'll try and make another one and try to remember this comment when I make it. It is a lot to learn my friend, so try not to be overwhelmed.
Something i feel we need on this game is a buildable item list. Build it in main menu, then when your in match you have access to your builds.

Thanks. Yes we need custom build list ability now!! This is a must for any game to be taken seriously
How do you know which items to buy first and which later? What do you keep in mind or which guidelines do you follow?

Is Crit good on TB? I heard it isn’t and he should focus more on Attack Speed and Power.
Crit TB is bad, u wanna go on hit Wich focus basic attacks or go mindrazor assassin which focuses on abilities
I need someond to explain building to ne without esoteric language but im trying

Does perforater and demolisher percent penetration stack with each other?
Nope
Now I have to change my main midlane "gideon" :/
He's still very strong
