Thanks for giving my home island of Cozumel such wonderful praise. So many cruisers don't venture out past the tourist area right in front of the piers but there is so much to see and do. Highly recommend visiting the east side or "wild" side of the island. And for sure make it downtown for shopping and dining.
I have been to Cozumel 3 times and will be going back in February it is one of my favorite stops on a cruise we have been to Chankanaab a couple of times it has many things do
The first time we went to Cozumel we did a ship excursion from Carnival and went to Passion Island. We had to be tendered there and it took about 30 minutes or more. It was beautiful, lots of activities and all you can drink and eat. There was a crew on the island that organized games and races. The second time we went to Mr. Sanchos. The best value, beautiful beaches and great service
For my first excursion to Cozumel, I did "Salsa, Salsa, Margarita". We made several salsas, learned to dance the salsa, and made (and drank) margaritas. Afterward, we could return to the ship or go to one of the resorts nearby and hang out. It was FABULOUS!!!!
We always book Nachi Cocom. A very relaxing beach day with plentiful drink and good food. And they limit attendance to about 120 people, so you always have a chair and palapas. Was very welcome last February when there were 7 ships in port that day :-)
We just got back from a cruise to Cozumel last week. We were traveling with another couple, which were cruising newbies, so we took a tour. The Cozumel by Sea and Land tour was great for the sea part. We took a glass bottom boat tour around the reef, which was spectacular to see. The land portion was less so, including a cocoa bean and chocolate business and a tequila company. Those two took up the majority of our touring time on land.
Went to Dolphinaris in June and it was a very pleasant experience. Staff is incredibly friendly. Swam with dolphins and the provided lunch after was actually delicious and service was great. Views in dining area are incredible! Photos were expensive but the experience was awesome.
At Hotel Cozumel they offer an AMAZING underwater scooter adventure. The staff are absolutely the best and you get to enjoy the private beach after. I booked it through ShoreExcursioneer. Must see.
@@CruiseTipsTV thanks :) I have only done shore excursions & am really interested into Nachi Cocom because I've already been to Cozumel, so we may either stay on ship or go there it's pretty cheap!

Chankanaab and Mr Sanchos are my favorites. The kids loved the outdoor Mayan laser tag in Chankanaab and parasailing at Mr Sanchos

god, you are our dearest Princess of Cruises! Such an amazing project! We love your videos! Thanks from Toronto!
When we were there we did an ATV excursion to the coral caves and it was a ton of fun and locally owned and run.
How fun! We'd love to try that.

We've been on the Cozumel Bar Hop three times - it is amazing. We are going to Mr. Sanchos in November, so it's good to hear your recommedation!
We are doing Chankanab next year for a dolphin and manatee experience!

It's been years but I believe they still have this excursion. A ferry ride to Playa Del Carmen and a bus trip to Tulum Mayan Ruins.
Thank you very much.
We went to MR.Sancho in March
I enjoyed drinking a lot😆😆😆
Mr Sancho’s is my go-to !!! 😎
Fun!
@cruisetipstv what do you suggest is the best way for transit? Just grabbing a cab that is sitting there at each port? Avg Price? To Nachi Cocum?!
Yes, there are designated taxi stations outside the port. It's about $13-18 each way for up to 4 people. Very easy!

*ship sponsored shore excursion lol
We were just at Mr Sanchos 2 weeks ago! Highly recommended! Loved everything and the service was amazing!
What type of currency do they accept in Cozumel. Do taxis take credit cards? US cash?
Yes, they will absolutely take US cash.
Has anyone tried the ATV tour?
We love swimming with dolphins!!
