US: "Is that your military convoy?"
Russia: "Nope, not us"
Russia: "Could you maybe please stop destroying us?"
US: "Destroying who?"
@itsahellofaname 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, that is funny as hell 🤣
😂
😂😂😂😂so true 🤣🤣
😂💀🤣💀😭😭😭🤣💀🤣💀🤣💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Flat terrain, no air assets, no mobile AA, Nothing to contest status Quo Us military capabilities..... What could go wrong?
😂😂😂😂
pro tip; when a guy has traveled 12000 miles with his own Air Force and is on the phone asking "is that you?" … don't lie.
"Corporal!"
"Yes sir?"
"You see those Russians over there"
"Yes sir, I do"
"I don't want to see them anymore."
*Sends in everything*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
You forgot the Corporal's response,
Yes sir, immediately, sir.
[Now] Send everything.

You weren't laughing at result, you were laughing at the sound of the A-10 Machine guns every time the man swore.
"They totally BRRRRRRRRRRRRT us". LOL
"They had us in the first part and then in the second and finally in third part."
That's because it sounded like he was breaking wind, and ripping the Russians a new asshole!
Its not 'machine guns'... it is a single, terrifying, 30mm cannon.
That wasn't an A-10 Warthog. That was a Lockheed AC-130: The Angel of Death. Similar sounding gun on both.
US Command to Russian Command: "Do you have troops trying to take our base"
Russian command to US Command: "No comrade, we have no troops in the area"
five seconds later
US Command to Russian Command: 'That is correct'
😂😂😂
"US Command customer service, how can we help you today?"
"What exactly do you guys do?"
"We pride ourselves on providing enemy combatants with the maximum opportunity to give their lives for their country."
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You didn't offend me. I'm ex Military myself, those guys had a chance to withdraw, they lied and said it wasn't them doing the attacking, and got what they asked for.
I propose it was a sacrificiual force to test American response and resolve. They went in with no AA whatsoever in a 500 man armored group? Sounds like they were bait, and lied to themselves of course.
FAFO...
Were US troops in Syria legally? Were Russian troops in Syria legally?
Correct.
Blame their leadership, not the soldiers on the ground.
@@cygnusx-3217 According to whose law? Who would enforce this theoretical law? Any "law" without the means to enforce it is an impotent joke, not a real law.
@@cygnusx-3217 who cares? Russia & the US came to fight terrorism & allied with regional groups they sided with. So yeah the US & Russia were there legally. Russia fucked around & found out. Not to mention even if they were there “illegally” which they weren’t, who’s gonna enforce that law? Nobody can stand up to the US military, Russia just tried & got fucking decimated, 200+ casualties
Wagner group learned what " Fuck around and find out" means and they're lucky there were no A-10's close by
Well... I don't know if a greasy stain (dead, dumb Russian ex-solider) on the desert dirt can "feel" luck at this point. But, yes... I would have loved it if the Warthog thumped some Russians into chewed up meat for the jackals to feed on. LOL.
4 apaches and a C-130 gunship is bad enough, throw in artillery, attack aircraft and reapers too and there really no need for an A10
I live near our Air guard base and we have a buttload of A-10s, here. For a Vietnam era plane, those things are feared due to that enormous gatlin gun and, it's my understanding, that our ground troops demanded they be kept in service. Every so often I will hear a few them fly over on a weekend. They are quite an awesome sight.
@@keihan5 It went into service two years after the end of the Vietnam war
@@darkiee69 it was produced from 1972-1984 and went into service in 1976, not even a year after US withdrawal from Vietnam.
As a US Army veteran myself I can say the US often responds with overwhelming force to deter aggression.
The B-52 might have been a tad bit 'excessive'.... Let's be real.
If you had bombs falling on your head
Things would be different
@@ExSpoonman actually the B-52 is more cost effective than some of our more advanced modern weapons like drone strikes.
The B-52 was built way back in the 1950s and is basically the militaries way of doing bombing on the cheap when stealth is not necessary.
It also adds a psychological warfare aspect because it’s loud as Hell and terrifying to enemy forces.
They also used B-52s in Operation Paul Bunyan as a show of force against the North Koreans for murdering a U.S. officer cutting down a tree.
“In addition, a 64-man task force of the ROK Army 1st Special Forces Brigade accompanied them, armed with clubs and trained in taekwondo, supposedly without firearms. However, once they parked their trucks near the Bridge of No Return, they started throwing out the sandbags that lined the truck bottoms and handing out M16 rifles and M79 grenade launchers that had been concealed below them. Several of the commandos also had M18 Claymore mines strapped to their chests with the firing mechanism in their hands, and were shouting at the North Koreans to cross the bridge.
A US infantry company in 20 utility helicopters and seven Cobra attack helicopters circled behind them. Behind these helicopters, B-52 Stratofortresses came from Guam escorted by US F-4 Phantom IIs from Kunsan Air Base and South Korean F-5 and F-86 fighters were visible flying across the sky at high altitude. F-4Es from Osan AB and Taegu Air Base, South Korea, F-111 bombers of the 366th Tactical Fighter Wing out of Mountain Home Air Force Base, were stationed, and F-4C and F-4D Phantoms from the 18th TFW Kadena Air Base and Clark Air Base were also deployed. The aircraft carrier USS Midway task force had also been moved to a station just offshore.”
@@ExSpoonman It's only the other guy that complains about overkill.
@@AusExplorer I would counter: Not if you do it right.
Don't be confused, the level of response to the russian attack was so devastating because the Americans knew the russians were there. This was a demonstration by the US to inform the russian generals exactly what they can expect if, and/or when, they next meet barrel to barrel.
For better or worse, we are the hegemon.
For now. All empires eventually die.
@@harryhanz1690 but until then ...
What funny was the Marine flat wore out the barrel on the artillery piece they use to wipe the Russian off the map
@@fastone942 That isn't true, The fact is one artillery battery went through those rounds in 5 months shooting at ISIS targets, not this battle..simply it couldn't be done in that time period. They had two retire two M-777's due to regulations and manufacture specifications for safety.
In five months they fired 35,000 artillery rounds on ISIS targets.
To put the numbers in context: During all of Operation Desert Storm, both the Marines and the Army fired a little more than 60,000 artillery rounds.
In the invasion of Iraq, just over 34,000 rounds were fired. I will not say how many rounds were laid down range that evening, but it was less than 1% of what that gun is capable in it's life span. Let alone two of them...Have a good one.
I'm a U.S. Veteran Paratrooper. This video made my heart happy.. 🤗🤗🤗
"All the Way, Sir."
They thought there was a platoon of grunts behind some dirt berms. So they sent some tanks ahead to punch a hole and followed them in.
**Those grunts had some big friends nearby and when the call went out, everyone wanted a piece. There was not enough to go around.
**One badly injured soldier made it to a Syrian Hospital. When asked what happened, he said: "The Yanks pretty much proved their point."
As a combat veteran I can understand your level of laughter it’s understandable that you can envision the narrator as the person reporting and it’s a true emotional response it’s more in amazement that we kinda laugh. I don’t think anyone is offended by your reaction.
I'm an American and I think it's funny 🤣
When this was mentioned on the news here in the States. It was billed as soldiers from Wagoner Group attacked a small group of Special Forces in Syria. Wagoner Group was devasted and the small contingent of Special Forces had one minor injury. It took a long time for the nature of this engagement to come out. There has been rumors that Wagoner Group was on orders from Moscow, to take the oil field. That would explain why the Russian Regulars didn't know what was happening. Kinda why the war in Ukraine is going so badly...Being managed by Generals in Moscow. Hell of a way to conduct a war!!!
its wagner not ''wagoner?'' Named after the german musician isn't it?
But the Russian generals who did show their snouts on the front in Ukraine were among the first casualties. 😂
If the Russians don’t want to die, they should stay at home.
Edit: If anything, this story shows that the regular Russian army hates Wagner mercenaries and will take great joy in any misfortune that befalls them.
Wagoner has a habit of trying to seize resources in areas they operate. In African nations they are operating in they'll attack gold, gem mines and then take them over for Wagner. In Ukraine they have pushed to seize Salt mines.
Almost as bad a way of running a war as sitting in an office in the USA.
You didn't hear about the battle because there wasn't one. Just an old fashion a**kicking.
Yes SAM = Surface to Air Missile. I loved the Brrrrt sound of the A-10 Gatling Cannon in place of the curse words! I found it humorous as well so don't sweat it.
As an M60 gunner in the Marines I can say that when the gloves come off and we can kill basically everything "Over that way" no one has a fucking chance. With 155mm artillery on call using the Excaliber rounds, we can start taking you out when you are in a different area code. Throw in Apache or even Cobra helicopters and there is not a vehicle on Earth that you can either fight in, hide in, or run away in. They didn't even use A10s in this case, but it wasn't even needed, nor were the F22s which are the successors to the F15s. The F15s were already assisting there and with a 106/0 perfect record in dog fights it was wise to keep all of the Russian aircraft out of the kill zone. Keep in mind that I didn't even talk about the 81mm mortars, Javelin missiles, or any variation of the M1 tanks. Hell, they didn't even need boots on the ground to mop up anyone left over.
Yeah, don't make the US take off its gloves.
I have 3 kids. My middle son Was a Army Ranger. He's out now but was in Afgh. Needless to say my nerves have just started to calm down. So thankful to God he lived through that year he was there.
Unofficially nicknamed "The battle of fickaround and find out"
The AC-130 brings truth to doubters.
those Russian Mercs F'd around and found out
Then Secretary of Defense General Mattis (who I had the distinct honor of serving under) was later asked about the incident: "The Russian high command in Syria assured us it was not their people, and my direction to the chairman was for the force, then, to be annihilated," Mattis said. "And it was."
Mattis is absolutely beloved by the Marine Corps and his quotes are absolutely famous. "I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all." and of course what he told us "Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet" and "The most important 6 inches on the battlefield is between your ears."
Mad Dog Mattis "Nothing scares me. I keep other people awake"
Mad dog Mattis. Much respect 🫡

I'm totally with you, brother.. my heart breaks for all of those innocent children who are exposed to war. I wish there was someway to protect them, to shelter them from that. They're never going to recover from that horror. I don't care what country you're from or where you live, children are innocent, and they don't deserve all the violence and destruction they're exposed to.
I have trouble deciding which is worse, creating children that know what a horror war is, or having them grow into adults that don't.
Not bragging, but there is a reason Americans are so supportive of our troops. Our kids walk around this world lik the guy with the biggest willie in a locker room. We supply them with the best equipment and they are very well trained
Lol MURICA
I mentioned this to someone else who reacted, but there are recordings of those calls he's talking about, with translations. I kinda wish he had played those, you can hear the exhaustion in their voices. Not that I enjoy that type of thing, but it's fascinating. Wagner exists to provide Russia with plausible deniability, since they're a PMC and not actual military. I honestly think they were ordered into a meat grinder without them knowing, to test our response, and we threw everything at them to throw off their analysis. What the video doesn't mention is that it was 500 Russo-Syrian combatants against 40 Americans. The number is irrelevant because they weren't utilized as ground troops, but one was wounded. He sprained his ankle. Seriously.
The American ground units were used exactly as they were intended to be used. They remained in concealed positions and called in air and artillery strikes. The Russians didn't know they were there, but they were adjusting indirect fires and laser designating targets for smart bombs.
Link to recordings?? Couldn't find them on my own
Sounds like a real battle....i guess that's why Americans talk tough.
I’m laughing too with the melodramatic reenactment and the Warthog edit sound effect is brilliant, the best. Cheers🎉
“Just a quick courtesy call, and a quick question. That convoy heading to our oilfield, is that you?”
“Not us!! Don’t know what you’re talking about, but it’s not us!”
“Okay, then, you won’t mind us sending out a little not-welcoming party then, bye!”
‘We asked you nicely.’”
See how thankful those kids are.
Yes...I'd do ANYTHING to remove my children from war. My father, husband and 2 sons fought in wars. They all came back different men. War......😢
I still find it strange that the metal effectively represents 'Congrats on surviving absolute defeat'
You know it has to be bad when they gave 'em a medal for just continuing to breathe.
You are right, it is the children who suffer the most during war.
I used to play airsoft with my mothers bosses son and he joined up after high school(a year before me) and ended up being in this battle during his deployment in Syria. He was 19 and said it was a lot crazier than people think, being at night too. He was in the Marines.
I had a friend there too, and he said it was a cakewalk once they started to return fire. He said the worst part was waiting for the go-ahead.
The US Marines were providing artillery fire support around this time. They were rumored to have fired so many rounds that one battery ruined the barrels of their artillery pieces.
“Smaller” is appropriate, only one American dude was injured, by a sprained ankle. As far as oil goes, Since fracking, the USA has way too much oil, this is all diplomacy, we don’t need anyones oil. Texas can power us all.
Correct, we need to use everyone else's oil first...
All true Americans understand "Dark Humor" my friend. Good job.😉
The one thing the US military, specifically SOCOM/JSOC, is absolutely a master of is Combined Arms and co-ordination of multiple systems and assets. We used to practice LFX using Combined Arms by way of C&C aka C-squared in the 18th ABN Corps. We'd combine 155, 105, Apache, Kiowas, US Navy CAS (F/A-18 & F-14), USAF CAS (AC-130, A-10), and a single AWAC/S with some CCT & FIST units. We'd do a heavy drop with approx. 800-1000 paratroopers, 15-20 18 series folks, and occasionally Delta and SEALs would play with us. Often we'd see the bleachers in the landing zone area (off on the side) full of dudes in suits and foreign military officers from some podunk nation. We always figured it was just some country that was itching the crotch of the US and instead of wiping them off the map, we'd show them what was about to make them crawl into the outhouse and hide after we flatten everything for 100 miles. Back in the early 90s we were just flirting with large scale C2 and Combined Arms Warfare. We were constantly learning how to better operate with our sister units and branches, how to improve comms, improve target sharing, utilize topos to plan large-scale artillery attacks onto areas that enemy artillery might be at. It's amazing how MLRS and 155s can absolutely demolish an entire grid square which is 1kmx1km. It was an interesting time to be in the 82nd and later Corps HQ. I am amazed by how many special operations troops have been stood up. Back in that time, it was rare to see more than 3-6 make it through selection for SF let alone Delta. You'd have to be an absolute beast to walk into Delta selection off the street just due to land nav.
It was a good review of that video, and I am surprised that any of that information got out of Syria.
Thank you so much for reacting to the video brother! Really enjoyed watching this.
“You done fucked up now!” Is hilarious because we say this too and probably too often 😂

Yep
Wagner being the hammer in Syria, went to their heads, so they attacked American forces and became the nail.
Using the sound of the warthog to cover the curse words had me cracking up also.
You didn't offended me. I was one of the American soldier there during that battle. Wagner Russian mercenaries and Syrian soldiers make the biggest miscalculation on their part thinking they can run us over, and the end results was over 300 lost their lives, and over 150 or more severely wounded considering out of the whole attacking forces of 500, only one tank and one vehicle survive.
I'm the type of person that wants proof when someone says they were somewhere important 😂😂
I don't believe you for a second. The offical stats say it was between 80-100 dead and about another 100 wounded.
Also I highly doubt a veteran would chose your username.
Stop trying to take credit for actual people risking it all.
@xenogenesis9635. I put my real name there so if you want to check out my military records and career you are free to do so. I know what I'm saying cause I was there and you did not cause you probably sitting in your air-condition home. I put my life and lives of many others of my comrades especially those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so idiots like you can freely spewed out what you freely like without knowing the truth. Look up the communications audios between us and te Russian mercenaries before, during and after, then you will understand.
It's not that we have the largest or most power military in the world, it's our militaries logistics that are next level and are battle hardened. Our military also trains more than any other. I was in for over 11 years and all I did was fight and train, when we werent fighting it was always training or qualifications.
Don't worry about offending Americans by laughing, Russians didn't necessarily get what they went there for, but they did. Get a grand reception once they arrive, Toby Keith would have been proud🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i think he meant any Russians being offended since they are the ones getting massacred

roughly 40 USA troops on the ground vs 500 russian-Syrian troops.
I think it was more likely 500 Rus/Syrian troops vs 20 USA troops plus about double that number of free-Syrian forces and a bit over 3 billion dollars of airpower.

Don't feel bad for laughing. As a US Army vet, I understand, and as I truly hate the loss of life, and saddened by it. However, we have a saying. F around, and find out. Whether a soldier, or merc, YOU know what your getting yourself into, and need to follow through with your personal choice/responsibility and accept it. Please let me know how I can contact you (or me, as I know the net is full of crazies these days). When you do decide to make you trip to my country, I'd be more than willing to give you a helping hand, and would love to meet you! I worked with South Africans while working in the UAE and some fellows while in Afghanistan. Would love to swap stories, and treat you to some American Braai! I'll show you some of our southern dishes (smoked meat, fried chicken, etc) if you can share your recipes from SA! I live out in the country in North Florida, but when we used to camp in the Everglades of south Florida, we had a SA market I'd get fresh Boerewors, and make Per-Peri wings.
Thanks for another great vid Jono! love your stuff!

No problem you laughing. I served for 22 years through three wars and I'm laughing too. If it's F@@ing funny then it's F@@ing funny!
Don't apologize when murderers get eliminated. That's not a job or career path normal humans choose. They feel nothing for those whom they murder so all is fair when they find themselves in their unhappy afterlife.
USAF vet. You mess with my brothers on the ground hell will fall on you from above.
You want to know what's really terrifying? I live next to a missile range here in the US where they actually do weapon testing. There is nothing more terrifying than hearing them use a smart bomb at night. I say hear because you're not going to see it at all. More often than not they drop such ordinance from massive heights while it's ether GPS guided to location or by a laser spotter. All you hear is the thing quickly come screaming in before the explosion. If you're not in range of the thing actually going off, you'll feel it in your feet if you're anywhere close to the area.
I'd heard of this engagement but never heard about it in such detail so Thanks. I'll admit I was laughing too.
I mentioned this on the original video. Those troops are lucky they got off with the number of casualities they did. USAF rolled out a lot but they could have done the whole thing with a few Warthogs. NTM those DU rounds from the the A-10 have a habit of liquifing whatever is inside those tanks/APCs which is just screwed up, but hey, dont mess with the people with better equipment.
A-10's don't use DU ammo any more, the USAF is in the process of decommissioning its DU ammo due to the shells being so old. They use tungsten now
@@PerpetuallyExhausted As an AF vet, I wa saware they were phasing out but this is more a comment on what they are know for. Either way, I appreciate the response, did t think it was happening already.
Wow, for whatever reason I got a notification on this and looking at it now I realize that my speech to text might need an upgrade as that was some really poor English.
This was a shock, but the real twister is just how badly Russian forces and equipment have performed for the past year and four months.
Three of the seven ships I served on had the Phalanx/CIWS/R2D2 and those guns fired 4500 rounds a minute. Other than the decibels being too low the reader has the sound correct.
One firefight I was in we were down to five (5) minutes of ammunition for my 5 inch gun mount.
As Sheriff Grady Judd put it, “If someone points a gun at my deputies, they will shoot back…a lot.” I timed my gun crew as firing 24 shots in one minute through one of our two barrels.
There is a joke that during the fighting in North Africa during WWII, if you didn’t know who was in front of you, fire a single rife shot. If the response was massed aimed rifle fire , it was British soldiers. If the response was multiple machine gun firing, it was German soldiers. If nothing happened for 3-5 minutes and then the entire world dropped on you, they were American.
using the Brrrrt for the cussing is just brilliant.
Its the A10's, "Brrrrrrrrd", that makes it 'comical'.
One minute the Russians thought they were the big dog .. the next minute they were completely leveled leaving them fleeing like little mice.
It is obvious the Russian forces were no where close to the forces of the US, which is why the Russians fled as quickly as possible in the future aggressions.
War is hell. It's why so many military come back messed up. Especially when it comes to children
Modern day war due to the threat of missiles alone you shouldn’t gather 30 troops in one area. Especially without AA guns. They were sacrificed to test the American response.
His interpreting a Russian soldier that went through the experience of that battle. Lol.

How have I never heard of this? I'm American and pay pretty good attention to the news.
Fun Fact: The "brrrrrrt" sound you hear to censor out the "f---" from the narration, is the sound of an A-10 Gau-8 being fired. Kind of has a double meaning and is kind of funny, especially since it almost sounds like someone letting off a really wet fart.
When the narrator is reading at ~8m into this video and it's bleeping out the F-word, the sound is from a GAU-8 gatling cannon on the A-10 Warthog.
All hail the BRRRRRRT!
