Oh, I loved this class, Lesly! Sei la mia coccola... miss you.

I cannot believe it. I did it! I did crow to tripod! 3 times!!! And I had no problem with scissors at the end, and it looked so nice on my timelapse! 21 months of yogaeverydamnday and the best teacher and best program. And the results are coming. Both inside and outside. Thank you so so much Lesley and Duke for all you do for us. 4th Round for me! Sunshine and butterflies!!!
Eeee!!! :) :) :) I just managed to do my first EVER successful crow pose And bent-legged tripod handstand! both feet off the ground, not falling over or Anything! This is huge for me since I've been trying to do teddy bear headstands since high school...I graduated in '97, so, it's been a while *LOL* Thank you, Leslie, I couldn't have done it without your wonderful guidance ♡♡♡
I really enjoyed this combo Lesley! Having the wall to "lean on" helped me to lift up side down then into crow pose, it was super brief but I am so excited!!! Once again thank you for your guidances. I am going to sleep well tonight after a fun filled day, Pinewood Derby race for kids who came first place, thus we went out to celebrate with lunch in town then sledding in the snow, it was delightful to see them being super duper happy. Children are SO in the here and now and always bring my inner child out to play along! much love and light to you & your loved ones.
Ketmala Phoumalavong thank you for your lovely message! I'm so glad you had fun with this! I know that when I go upside down and play on my mat, I feel the most in the moment and childlike. Much love to you and your family too! :-)
Brilliant way to start the morning - moved from crow to tripod headstand for the first time! what fun! scissors is still a challenge & something to keep working on. Thanks for another terrific class, Lesley.
This was a great instructional class! I did crow to headstand...which I can't believe! I never thought I'd be able to do something like that. I even came off the wall and stayed steady. You look so lovely and peaceful when you do these moves! I had my daughter take a picture of me because I was so excited, then realized that going upside down also makes all my wrinkles slide upside down. Eek! Not sharing that picture with anyone, but will keep it just for me!
I'm so glad you had some fun with crow to headstand!! Yes, some of those pictures in headstands can look pretty scary for me as well...gravity is unrelenting!! Lol!!
Thanks for another great class, Lesley! I'm really beginning to feel the difference in my strength and endurance during these classes. I'm also noticing that I'm better able to recover from injuries. I rolled my ankle pretty badly yesterday. A couple months ago, that would have kept me off my feet for at least a couple days, and would have meant taking a break from my yoga practice for a week or two. Now, I was able to walk normally today, and even practice yoga (mindfully and carefully, don't worry) without much of a problem!
This was a great class, you explained the crow pose very well... I was able to do it. woop woop... it felt fantastic. It is so great when you actually think that you don`t improve at all... and then bam... you are up in a hand stand out of the crow pose ;) Happy days :) Thank you!
Hi Lesley, I'm doing a second round and I have to say that I have been really struggling with everything these past few months -- not just yoga but work, family, life stuff! I felt like I saw so much progress the first run through and this time it felt more like a chore -- I knew doing yoga was the "right thing" for myself but just in a bad place mentally. My intention for the past week has been "have fun with it and don't worry so much about your improvement." Lo and behold, today's practice was the first time I've really had FUN and let go of that judgment -- and I managed to do nearly the whole sequence. scissors still eludes me but it's ok :) someone else mentioned letting go of tension and things "fitting" better and maybe that's the whole point of yoga and living in the moment. Not every pose is going to be perfect and that's ok, no reason to feel bad about yoga for one pose or sequence. Similarly, not every day or season of life is going to be wonderful, but no reason to hate life as it's happening. Just letting go of the negativity and judgment is sometimes enough.
I've never done this before! It was so much fun to push myself from tripod hs to crow - it takes a lot of core, shoulder and arm strength when you're not using any momentum. I could feel my shoulders burning even thou I am definitely not any weakling. It felt so satisfying and made me excited to train and improve the transition! Thank you! Namaste :)
Thank you Leslie, this was a wonderful strong flow. I've not attempted crow to head stand before, lovely to try something new! Your sequences are always so challenging yet calming, thank you, namaste.
In bokasanna, I was very distracted being so close to the wall - I have face planted quite a few times from this pose but happily not when I was so close to a wall. I was too wary of the wall to be adventurous. So not too successful with bokasanna, but I did do the headstands - maybe not tripods, but there were lots of headstands. I like this class. It’s on my favourite list! Namaste.
Dear Lesley, I think that was one of my favourite sessions so far. Absolutely loved it! It's such an intense full body workout but after a couple of tries I was able to do the transition without touching the wall. I surely will practise this lesson a couple of times. Thanks and best wishes, Jacky!
Thank you so much for this great flow! It was a bit slippery and slidely here because it is so hot that it made the grip in crow pose hard but I got my tripod headstands in and managed crow pretty often regardless of all the sweat so that was fantastic. Thank you
I always struggle with this transition and then after pausing and rewatching multiple times I really focused on my core and managed to get my legs up the wall from crow to headstand on the last one! Scissors is still a mystery to me but I'm sure I'll get there eventually! so happy, thank you Lesley! x
Very challenging but progressed to bucassana for a few moments, will keep trying and do my best, will never give up! Thank you so much Lesley and family, miss you, Namaste
Yeeeeeeehh ! This is the first time I can lift my head up from tripod headstand to bakasana and to step back from tripod to chaturanga. I will practice it again and again ! thank you :)
This was a blood pumping practice tonight! The transitions were great the way you lead us through them. I am feeling more sure of myself each day. I still cannot seem to get that scissors move. I will keep practicing it. Sunshine and butterflies to you. Until tomorrow
Barry Gleissner Thank you! Yes, that scissors pose is hard...it's mostly about engaging the core and leg muscles and finding that balance point! Butterflies!!!!
Loved this yoga flow; your tidbits of advice are so much appreciated, even just telling me where to keep the foot pressure. I am a newbie ( and will always be) but really enjoyed the multiple tries at crow pose! Yea, on the last one, I held crow post for like three seconds! Thats huge for me! Thank you!
Señorita Cora Yes! It is really starting to go fast. I will miss all of your lovely comments...I hope you'll continue to say hello! You'll absolutely have these videos forever! xx
Wow, what a challange! This class is really great to see the single movements - I learned a lot from it!. I managed a tripod headstand for the first time! But the combination with crow pose is too dificult for me, I'm just not strong enough. Also, I tried scissors pose for the first time. Altough I could'nt lift my back foot I finally understood how this pose works! Thank you Lesley! You're really a great instructor!
Lots of learning today ...primarily not to wear the slinky silky leggings I just bought when doing crow pose. Happily balancing for the longest time Ive achieved when I lost traction between my right slinkily clad thigh and tricep and face planted onto my mat, splitting my lip. Spent half an hour holding a pack of frozen spinach to my face before changing into less slinky leggings and carrying on (with a pillow under my face....). Nearly there on all transitions - super happy in headstands - but scissors just not computing for me. Got lovely bee-stung lips though without the need for expensive surgery :-) x
Lesley, you move with such grace and strength through the touch poses, I am in awe! I huffed and puffed, but did not give up :-) I was so excited to be able to do the scissors pose. Was not able to fully complete the tripod pose, but my arms are getting stronger everyday. :-)
+Etleva Davis Yay! You're getting stronger every day and not just in your body...in your mind too!! Thank you for your lovely message. Have a wonderful day. xx
Another great class 🎉my back hurt a little bit so I tried to avoid difficult poses .. but I’m sure I’ll do next time! Thank you as always dear Leslie ❤
I got the scissor pose! And even better, I was in it, then realized how tensed I was, so I relaxed and the pose almost balanced itself out. Lovely feeling :) Thanks, Lesley!
Caitlyn Hampton That's so awesome! I love that you realized your tension and released it and the pose was easier. It's so true in so many poses and life situations! xx
fantastic class!! I was a little disheartened by the other video with this progression in it as I was no where near being able to do it. But after lots of (sweaty) attempts this morning I finally got there! thank you so much Lesley!! xxx
that was aaaamaaaazing great feeling to find myself upside down tripod headstand pose hahaha loved it thank you so much for yet another incredibly uplifting practice :)
This was a wonderful class! I can't do tripod to headstand yet, but I loved the way you put it together! And, thanks to your tip on the leg touching the arm, I could do ekapadakoundinyasana! Yeay!!! Super happy! Thank you for your brilliant work! God bless you! :)
+Maísa Caldeira so glad you liked it! I use that little trick frequently, so I'm glad it was helpful! Thank you for taking the time to comment and thank you for practicing with me! xoxox Lesley
wow, strong practice this morning. Finally I managed to do the invereses in total, because before just could made from tripod headstand to bakasana. Sometimes I just need to be a bit more brave.:)Thank you Lesley to be so patient:D
Wow, nice practice. Thank you Lesley! I´ll definitely come back for this one to practice some more. I´m having fun with it. Yoga is starting to feel like playing. I think that is a good thing (for me).
The first time though, I chuckled at how far I was from bokasana, tripod head stand, etc. 90 days later on my second time through, I did a tripod head stand with legs bent and practiced bokasana while Lesley was doing her full headstand. I even attempted scissors enough that it actually seems attainable. Who knows - maybe on the third time I'll be upside down and able to do scissors. What a journey!
I want to apologize for day 65 comments, I let my emotions get the better of me. Things are just not going well here @ home, but there is always something to be grateful for. Scissors pose I've not been able to accomplish, I don't think all poses are for everyone. I was very sweaty & transitioning from crow to tripod/headstand, I fell - twice. Experiment, find out what works for you. Inversions I do like the idea of getting that blood flowing in the opposite direction. Thanks Duke, Indy & Stone. I will always be grateful for finding Lesley. Be well, namaste 🙏🏻❤️
Pretty tough one today. I'm a long way off from most of that...headstands and scissors seems so far into the future, but I did get both feet off the floor in crow for a millisecond, so I'm going to hold on to that and be proud!!
Yes! I'm finally becoming less afraid of snapping my wrists in crow pose, haha! And I remember that I was the only kid in my 4th grade PE class that could not do tripod pose, but 10 years later I've finally got it down muahaha! Thanks for your super helpful instructions Lesley! :P
Hello Lesley - love your practice and therefore donated previously, also because I feel blessed that you offer this for free whereas if you would go to a yoga studio one would be paying a pretty amount for 90 days of yoga! I hope others realise this value exchange when they consider donating, and when deciding on the amount. I have an observation/feedback which is that often with inversions you usually mention after the pose or during not to do them while in your monthly period. I hope this advise can be said upfront in your future videos. This also goes for props like a block or band ;.)
Well, well, I had no chance of combining crow to tripod headstand... I can do the two poses seperately, but I could not do them together... Also, scrissors pose will be another half-a-year, I think. Or maybe when I repeat this whole 90 day programme, when I am finished. I thought I would redo the 90-day, I am sure I could benefit a lot from doing it again :) Great class this morning :) I really cannot believe I am already on day 66 !!!!
Wow wow wow! This was challenging, but definitely worth it! I managed for the first time to hold scissors for a few seconds, was so satisfied! With regards to the tripod headstand, at first I could not even lift up as I was curling my back and not shifting it forward enough. Once i managed that and the legs would go up effortlessly as in the classic headstand, I had problems balancing, almost knocked off a cupboard near me. Why is the balance so much trickier than in normal headstand? Am I doing something wrong? Thank you, you keep challenging us and giving us new satisfactions!
Hi Lesley. Firstly thank you for this incredible series. I am loving my yoga journey. I tried the headstand and I really don't think my arms or neck were ready for it. I've had a headache since then. Any tips for unlocking my neck now? :) Have tried gentle stretching and lots of gentle head shaking and nodding while in down dog. Anything else?
I’m so glad you’re enjoying the classes. I’m really, really sorry that your neck is hurting. Ice it for 20 minute at a time, 3 times per day. It’s best to be very gentle with it for a few days because it probably became inflamed. An anti-inflammatory like Advil can help if you can take it. No more headstands for a while :( If it still hurts after a couple of days, please consult your doctor.
IAmazing class!! Though I have a lot of trouble getting away from the wall! I really try but it seems like a can't really find my balance/alignment? Do you have any advice for learning that? THANK YOU!! YOUR YOGA IS AMAZING
Mia Thorup thank you so much! I got away from the wall little by little by little. I started by facing the wall but moving further away a little at a time. That way, if I lost my balance, the wall would still catch me. I would recommend that method...the more you practice it, the easier it will be to find your balance. xx :-)
040621 Bokasana quite successful, both versions; but legs on the outside of the arms a greater success, with both feet off the ground for a number of seconds. The other one, one foot firmly off the ground with the second one, just one toe touching. I do find after two or three of these I can’t do anymore, for now. I still love this class. It is really awesome even if I cannot imagine what to do with my limbs to get myself into scissors. Someday sometime I will, just not today. Wonderful! Thank you. namaste.
Great stuff! Which part of your head touches the ground? At the beginning I was on the top but it'd hurt like hell :P Forehead seemed better but I'm not sure about the weight distribution between (part of) the head & hands. Thanks!
+Mr Spijker thank you! Definitely the crown of your head. The forehead isn't good because that will throw off the alignment of the cervical spine (neck). Put as much weight on your hands and lift your shoulders away from the floor as much as possible. The less weight on the head the better. If it hurts a lot, practice regular headstand instead, with your fingers interlaced.
Hi dear Lesley! My arms tend to collapse when i try to put my head down into tripod from crow pose. I can do both poses quite well...but im scared to fall on my head and hurt myself. I managed to do it with a pillow underneath...so its not as high I guess. Any advices on how to prevent the arms from collapsing? THANK YOU!!!!!
OdreCha Thank you so much!! That's a great idea to put a pillow under you. It may help if you slide your knees down your arms a little but keep squeezing your arms with your legs and then pushing your arms back into your legs. As you do that keep drawing your belly and ribs up toward your back and press away from the floor as you root into your hands. I hope this makes sense. xx
This is so hard to me! I did crow pose for just one or two seconds in each time, but tripod headstand I just can't do it. The wall help a little but I don't have the strength and the confidence to do it.
+arteycuerpo It's better to back off of tripod if you don't feel the strength is there. There's a lot of weight on the neck anyway, so it's always better to be safe than sorry! Keep up your practice and the strength and confidence will come with time! Great job with crow pose and keep up the good work!! :-)
Thank you Lesley!

That was really hard but good practice. I’m not quite there yet, but I’ll get there. :) Thanks!
Great, many thanks. This class was awesome (like all of them)!
This was a great class, you explained the crow pose very well... I was able to do it. woop woop... it felt fantastic. It is so great when you actually think that you don`t improve at all... and then bam... you are up in a hand stand out of the crow pose ;) Happy days :) Thank you!

Awesome class, Lesley. Love healdstand( did I really say that?? LOL) and crow...but again, that scissor pose is still challenging for me.
Lol! Keep up the great work!
Pretty tough one today. I'm a long way off from most of that...headstands and scissors seems so far into the future, but I did get both feet off the floor in crow for a millisecond, so I'm going to hold on to that and be proud!!
YAY!! I'm proud of you too!! :-)
Amazing practice to start a day with! It feels so goood =) Thank you, Lesley!
Kat ushka awesome! Thank you so much!!
beautiful! So energetic!! Thank You so much! =D
elena mamai Great! I'm so happy you enjoyed it! :-)
I did it! Even with my two toddlers hanging around. My intention for today: to be patient and loving
thank you for great practise :-)
Karina Januchta You're so welcome and thank you for your sweet comment!
Yes! I'm finally becoming less afraid of snapping my wrists in crow pose, haha! And I remember that I was the only kid in my 4th grade PE class that could not do tripod pose, but 10 years later I've finally got it down muahaha! Thanks for your super helpful instructions Lesley! :P
+vivaLucci Awesome!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and it's super awesome that you got that tripod!!! :-)
today my intention is to try my best to prioritize and get things done
Lol- this is mine today! Starting with this yoga class....
Still don’t do the headstands, but I can do crow for a few split seconds! Wow. Thank you
Thanks you Leslie in heaven ❤
Sondra Rankin Great! I'm so glad to hear it, thank you!!
Enjoyed lots! :)))
joylovebliss great! I'm so happy to hear it!
+Zsuzsanna Benkó you're doing such a great job!!!! Keep up the good work. :-)
Thanks Lesley. It got better after a few days of rest and I'm back on the 90 day journey.
Gracias
Wonderful! Thank you. namaste.
Danke Schön
I hope this makes sense. xx
thanks!!
+Fightmaster Yoga Thanks :)
