I just ordered Fox cartridges for my 2017 SGS to pair with my 944s on it. I want to do mono-shock for my 18 heritage next. The scoots are my daily rides 98% of the time and I want the best. Thanks for the vid dude, you are pushing towards this set up. Probably keep stock height for heritage.
Great video brother. The Bob is still looking good. Keep up the hard work. Believe me, I’m finding out that it’s definitely not easy to run a channel 😆. I appreciate the content! I’ll be sure to shoot parts questions your way.
I have to stress more: to have better comfort and shock absorption on a HD, the only way is to increase the travel of the suspension. You can change the seat, you can put progressive springs, it will help little compare to have one more inch of travel.😊
I have the 2023 street bob and wanted to ask do you think the 13inch lowrider mono shock would be a good upgrade as a cheaper upgrade till I do my full build on it
Miles do you still have that video With the comparison between Your Street Bob and the stock Street bob I thought that was pretty cool I want to watch it again but I can’t seem to find it
What’s up Miles , name is Mike and have the same bike and love ! Like your videos too my man . I have Q about fox suspension are you flat footed at stops ? I am with the stock shock and was wondering how much of raise as far as footing goes with the fox shock . Thanks my man
Awesome. Did you just do the rear? Or the front forks also? I was looking at the bungking rear shock addition. I am looking for the same. That linear seat feel.
The bung king extension will give you that look but not the feel. This suspension feels premium compared to stock. I haven't done the front yet but I plan on it.
Just came across this video. Great review and new subscriber here. I have a 21’ FXBB and am considering this shock upgrade. Was this bolt on? Any additional modifications or parts needed? Thanks
Yes it's just bolt on and nothing else is needed. Best upgrade on my bike thus far! Really happy with this suspension. Thanks for subscribing my dude 🤘🏻
@@PutMilesOnIt Been debating the legends 13" or the fox IFP-QSR w/rebound adjust 13.5 decided on the fox for the rear.. did you do the front suspension? If so what did you go with? I have a fxdb 2013,(bought last summer used less than 10K miles, currently there is Burley rear suspension. I don't like sitting that low probably 10.5" tops 11' every Bump hits hard). first time watching one of your videos you got a new subscriber Brotha! Thanks in advance
My '96 1200 Sportster rides better than my 2020 Softail Standard. The FXST rides like a skid steer loader and makes my 145 lb body hurt every time I ride it.
You are knocking it out of the park man with all them mods That is awesome
I’ve got fox shocks on my Raptor…. I love them…. Glad they are in Harleys now
You think this would be good for a rider weight around 145?

Very good choice bro I will fix it on my softile standard we happy for you miles. Ride safe good luck 👍🏻❤️❤️
Always love your videos

do you know the stock shock length. I would like it to remain at same height as factory

Fox suspension rear and front ? Or legend suspension for $$$$
So how has the shock held up after a year?
Now that you have more clearance in the rear can you put the low rider s mag bronze wheels now? You just need a spacer kit
Did you have to adjust the tension on the belt..
Which front suspension did you have in mind?
how do you like it iam 300lbs and have mine maxed out to 7
How long and much was the install?
Do you have to get a longer belt?
The question is…. Is it noticeably better? And is the dollar value you spent commensurate with the improvement?
Same one I just did a few weeks ago. Did you do the Fox front forks as well? I did. Huge difference my friend. Consider that next if you haven’t.
How tall is the shock? 12" or 13"?
Does it raise or lower your bike compared to stock?
13.5” which is 1” taller than stock
@@PutMilesOnIt ok cool thanks. I wanna keep my seat height the same, so I'll go with 12.5" shocks.

Dose it come with a sticker?
No sticker unfortunately lol

How much do you weight ? Is the spring stiff?
I weigh about 190 and theres 3 different settings for the rebound.
@@PutMilesOnIt what’s yours spring preload set at? Is there room for lighter setting?
@@liu41285 wondering same thing I ain’t broke 160 yet
Did the shock come with a spanner wrench? Mine did not.
Have you managed to adjust your preload? If so, how? Im trying to get that figured out.
You should have gotten one when you bought your motorcycle.
How much higher would you say the bike is now after the suspension?
They have 12.5" (Stock Height), 13", and 13.5"...
Since youre a parts specialist, is it possible to order a softail 5 gallon tank to put on my FXBB? And if so about how much would just the parts cost?
I'll look it up for you tomorrow
$647.15 for the softail slim tank.. and 406.70 for the fuel pump

You should now look for a rear fender than you can drop….
What the point of buying very expensive bike with crap suspensions? HD wake up please.
Stock is fine stop crying. 🤦♂️🤣
