That last scene is a typical Jim pattern I only picked up on the second viewing. He'll often half-ass certain activities and try to play it off with charm. I'd say it works about 3/4 times. But when it fails, it fails spectacularly.
Indian kelly has been a joke for a long time. It always sounded like that. I have even seen the episode with subtitles say "Indian Kelly". So it's not just you. The subtitles now usually say Andy and Kelly, but it used to say Indian Kelly.
To be fair, I would miss Stanley's witty retorts. Why did Phyllis need to push so many buttons for popcorn?🍿Microwaves have a single, designated popcorn button.
no spoilers here, i promise, ...but this happens with jim a few times during the course of the series, i think sometimes they make him *way* stupider than he actually is for comedic effect...u see, karen knows full well that dwight & micheal are an abject, chaotic sh*t show when it ones to their capers & schemes that often run amok....all jim had to tell karen was that they tricked into coming to the Utica branch by saying it was a sales call, & then they revealed to him they were going to do things that were way, way stupid & dangerous, *so* , then he decided to come along to make sure they didnt do anything unhinged & crazy & dangerous, & he tagged along to be the voice of reason & safety, i think karen wouldve actually understood that, again, with her knowing micheal & dwight's personalities, but, instead jim stammers on like an idiot....idk, it just bugs me when this happens....the office is still my fave show of all time & idk, maybe it wouldnt have been as funny if jim explained himself properly, & maybe he was nervous in the miment, but, lol...idk, im rambling....still a decent season 4 episode & a great reaction, as always...by the way, season 4 has *thee* most famous, goat'ed episode of the office *ever* & i cant wait for u guys to get to to that one.....its *completely* insane, & youll know it when u see it, lol....the NBC censors tried to stop that episode, or at least change the script greatly, but greg daniels stood up to them & refused, lol....i cant wait for u guys to see it, ha.
To be honest, if I'd have to see my ex a year after a bad breakup for a ruthlessly cringeful conversation like that, with her having the higher ground and all, I would not have said very many smart things. I'd probably perform even worse than Jim. Btw, Karen is probably the best (or top two) in the show for a serious relationship. Not the crazyiest-funniest or anything but the one you could have a normal, steady, long-term relationship with. She deserves all the respect for that.
only a few episodes left til DINNER PARTY!!!

Why work harder than you have to, right? 😏
@@patsk8872 Depends on how it affects others. Pam, Toby and Oscar had a fun thing going, Jim got in and basically wasted everyone's time.
For a long time the captions on Netflix said “Indian Kelly” too 😂
I love the squeamishness during the awkward scenes. 😁

Such a cringy conversation with Jim and Karen but hilarious. 😂

Utica. I wonder if Karen had started Parks and Recs
it's in Season 5 when Parks and Rec premiered.
