Model Maker Meetup - Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum

Today we tour the Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum (MECM) in Carlsbad, California. This amazing playground of fine scale machines and devices will surely delight you, as it delighted all who attended this Model Maker Meetup. Museum manager Terry Miller gives us an extensive guided tour, including the conservation workshop. Marvel at Louis Chenot's 1/6 scale model 1932 Duesenerg SJ, built completely by hand and fully functional. World-renowned miniaturist Bill Robertson joins us and shares rare photos and stories of his experience being present at Mr. Chenot's home on a rare occasion when this masterwork was disassembled and reassembled.
