He is so cute!! I have a Havanese and he loves socks and shoes, too. He has a definite foot wear fetish. 😂. My dog’s breeder does The Puppy Culture Program and also litter box trains her puppy’s. It’s the greatest thing ever. You use a low sided box like a rabbit hutch pan and something like pressed sawdust or alfalfa pellets.

Just curious, do you believe all dogs need to be completely alone to learn to fight separation anxiety? I ask because our Cavs are separate from humans every night in their crates, but they have the company of the other Cavs (they sleep in crates in pairs and the crates are in close proximity to each other in the same room). I’m asking specifically because we just acquired an eight week old male and he has spent the last week in a crate by himself (just to be safe) and we’re contemplating adding him to one of the pairs so he has company. Should we do that or should we start making sure each dog learns to spend time totally alone?

We have done it both ways, and I've never noticed a difference, but it's probably better for each dog to have experience both alone and with company.
