Hi Mandy, You are right regarding the Alan Titchmarsh image. Unfortunately, there are only two that I can find without copyright issues. Yes, we are back from our holidays, I am editing the videos at the moment. Most are about plants and gardens, although I will be publishing a hotel review tomorrow in the style of a 'Walk with me Tim' video. Best wishes, Simon
My broad beans succumbed to the snow but the radishes survived got heat mat on for onions and chillies waiting for grow tent got me lights subbing happy gardening Richardx
Hi Richard, and thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear about your broad beans. If you leave it a month before sowing again, they should perform better. Good luck with the onions and chilles, and thanks for supporting our channel with your subscription. Best wishes, Simon and Lorna.
Love the videos!!! We in the South (US) say you talk in cornbread language. Which means easy to understand lol. Snow, which we see very little of in Alabama, also is a good source of cheap nitrogen and trace elements. Again, love the videos.
Hello Bourbon and Blooms, and thanks for getting in touch. I hadn't heard of 'cornbread language' before, that's a great expression. Thanks for you supportive words, best wishes Simon.
I've noticed you don't post much on your Instagram page? Will you be doing a seed video on what you will be ordering for this year? I'm in Sheffield, and the snow is very bad!
HI Lindsey, you are right. I haven't posted much on Instagram recently but that is because I'm not doing much in the garden at the moment. That being said, just for you, we took some video of our walk around the farm and that is available on Instagram now. Regarding seed videos, I haven't thought much about it yet but I will probably start in February. I will be growing Ricinus and African marigolds again which I already have videos published for and we did one on sweet peas in December. But yes, I will probably do a video on the plants we order in this year. I'm looking to get a Correa for the spring and some more tender fuchsias, but we are going to take a trip down to Big Plant Nurseries at some point to see what interesting plants they have!
Good information, I’ve been playing with the idea, you’ve talked me into shaping the bushes, lil mitigation never hurt. Many thanks.
You are very welcome, I do like topiary. I can be really effective in most gardens. Best wishes Simon
@ would you recommend cutting them back now, at the beginning of winter, so that come spring they are ready to fill out in their new pyramid shape?
Morning Simon 🙋♀️ ,that's a very old photo Of Alan Titchmarsh, are you back from your hols now ? .. thanks for the update ❤
